Her round little toes curled now and then, and a gentle, baby-like murmur slipped from her thin cherry lips.

So cute… I want to squish her…

But the more harmless and adorable she looked, the more conflicted Kane felt inside.

“She was such a sweet, obedient girl when I picked her up as a child. Where did I go wrong raising her?”

“Could it be… before I remembered my past life, I was such a scumbag that I turned her into this?”

“Ugh, that’d be just my luck.”

The more he thought about it, the heavier his heart became.

Just like in the game, once Kane regained the memories of his past life, he realized that in this world he’d been a loathsome, arrogant scoundrel that everyone hated.

Beside them were a pair of torn black stockings and a wrinkled maid outfit.

“I really went overboard, huh.”

Kane shook his head with a self-deprecating smile.

He’d let his guard down, thinking the danger had already passed.

If it weren’t for this second chance, he’d have died right there.

“If I make it out of this alive, I’ll never let myself relax again.”

Kane swore silently, pulled on his underwear, gathered up his clothes, and tiptoed toward the door.

“Young Master.”

But just as he took a single step, a familiar voice stopped him cold like a binding spell freezing him in place.

“Young Master is up so early today. Where are you off to?”

That soft, sweet voice carried a strange charm that made him unable to resist.

Kane didn’t dare turn around, afraid the expression on his face would give him away.

He did his best to keep his voice steady: “It’s getting late. I’m going to make breakfast.”

“Making breakfast is my job. How could I trouble Young Master with that?”

As she spoke, a soft, snow-white hand slipped around from behind his neck, wrapping around him.

Enya gave a playful smile and slowly climbed onto Kane like a lazy cat.

Her chin rested lightly on his shoulder, and with just a slight turn of his head, Kane could see the heavy weight pressing against her chest too much responsibility for even him to hold with one hand.

Seeing her affectionate, gentle expression, Kane realized he hadn’t been exposed, and finally let out a breath of relief as he replied:

“You worked so hard last night. I just wanted to make you a special breakfast myself.”

The lie rolled off Kane’s tongue effortlessly.

Enya’s smile grew even sweeter, and she planted a kiss on his cheek:

“Thank you, Young Master. I’m so happy you care about me. I almost wish I could lock you up and have you cook for me forever.”

“……”

Before, Kane would’ve laughed it off as a joke.

But now?

She was dead serious.

He felt a chill down his spine.

Kane forced a laugh, patting the small hand on his shoulder:

“Haha, alright, enough playing around. It’s late, I’ll go make breakfast now.”

As he spoke, he tried to gently free himself from her grip.

But to his surprise, she suddenly turned.

A pair of snow-white thighs lifted, and in the next second, Enya straddled him from the front.

Facing this masterpiece of seductive perfection head-on, Kane instinctively swallowed hard.

Enya leaned in and gave his earlobe a soft bite, whispering in his ear with a voice like a devil’s temptation.

“But all I want right now… is to eat you for breakfast, Young Master~.”
