Spear of Creation?
Why were so many Spears of Creation “growing” out of a Cadre-level Demonic Creature’s body?
Whether it was the people watching the live broadcast or those in the Eastern Alliance, no one understood what was happening right now.
Everyone knew Yin Lin’s Spear of Creation.
But since when was Yin Lin this powerful?
Not that she wasn’t powerful, but the technique of teleporting a Spear of Creation into an enemy’s body was too broken. This was the work of a Deity, wasn’t it?
If Yin Lin were the enemy, how could you dodge that move?
Who could know when a Spear of Creation would grow inside their own body? There was no way to evade it, right?
It was like a scene straight out of a horror movie.
The cocky Lifa Male was suffering. No matter how many times it rewound, Spears of Creation would still grow out of its body.
Its mind was probably being tortured to the breaking point. These Spears of Creation clearly had a malicious intent to torment it.
Until the Demonic Creature grew weaker and weaker, its will to resist getting worse. Finally, a Spear of Creation grew on its wrist, knocking the precious treasure out of its hand.
That was the item Yin Lin had deduced could use Rewind Magic, something like a Creation Artifact.
Maybe losing that one lifeline drove it to despair. It tried to struggle and survive again, roaring in agony, but to no avail.
The Spears of Creation still appeared on its body without warning.
Growing at an average rate of one spear every two seconds, just like a horror movie.
No warning signs, no detectable Mana, no flight path—they just appeared out of nowhere.
A lightning-charged spear piercing through your body.
Even Yin Lin was frightened, scared to death.
Think about it: you’re eating hotpot and singing, and suddenly a spear grows out of your body, impaling you.
How could you not be terrified?!
The Lifa Male reached up to pull out the Spear of Creation stuck in its chest. It looked extremely pained—both the pierced body and the hand gripping the shaft were taking massive continuous magic damage.
It yanked the Spear of Creation out of its body with force, splattering a large amount of green blood.
Just pulling out the first spear had already caused it immense pain.
It threw the spear to the ground and looked at the palm that had touched the shaft—it was charred black.
Just then, Yin Lin and the Cadre-level Demonic Creature Lifa Male both turned their gazes toward the direction of the dock.
Yin Lin sensed a Mana signature. It was a Magical Girl’s, not a Demonic Creature’s, near the dock.
After a little while, something bizarre happened.
The Spear of Creation that the Demonic Creature had dropped on the ground suddenly flew back to its chest and stabbed back into its body, returning to its original position.
The next second, the Spear of Creation shot out again from its back and flew toward the place at the dock where the Magical Girl’s Mana signature was coming from.
Somewhat like the Blue Lancer’s move in FATE where he retrieves his spear from a distance?
More and more spears flew out of the Demonic Creature’s body, heading toward the dock.
Bursting out of its body at a rate of one spear every two seconds.
The scene was both spectacular and eerie.
Yin Lin wasn’t just idly watching. While the Demonic Creature was struggling with the strange Spears of Creation, her own Spear of Creation had already been charged.
Aim, fire.
It went for the Demonic Creature’s head and hit it in the face.
But after penetrating just a few centimeters, it was deflected, scraping across its face and leaving a bloody gash before falling to the ground nearby.
Damn. Even the Spear of Creation’s piercing power couldn’t get through the Lifa Male’s face?
Was the Spear of Creation not strong enough, or was I not good enough?
Yin Lin fell into a life crisis, but she still continued charging another Spear of Creation.
Why could the Magical Girl at the dock pierce the Demonic Creature’s body with the Spear of Creation, but Yin Lin couldn’t?
That was a huge blow to her confidence.
The Lifa Male started moving again.
The blue light on its body was fading, and it was covered with dense, bleeding holes. It was gravely wounded and wouldn’t last much longer.
Yet it still forced itself to stay alert, as if it wanted to take Yin Lin down with it.
It charged forward, throwing punches. The force of its fists wasn’t as fierce, but still threatening enough—the kind of power that could kill Huan Hong and Jin Luan in one hit.
Yin Lin dodged while charging her Spear of Creation.
With her physical abilities, there was no way to avoid the Lifa Male’s lightning-fast punches. She took almost all of them.
Whenever a punch hit her body, it could still break her Shield and cause an extremely long knockback or launch.
Even if the punch didn’t hit directly, the leftover force made Yin Lin stumble, and her Magic Shield rippled violently.
The Light Guns on the Demonic Creature kept flying out automatically, one every two seconds as before.
Until finally, all the Spears of Creation left its body, leaving only dense bloody holes.
It looked pretty horrifying—enough to trigger trypophobia.
The dying Lifa Male kept fighting desperately, pushing Yin Lin back step by step.
It might have thought that since Yin Lin had been pummeled for so long, she should be out of Mana now, and could be killed easily. It relaxed a little.
Yin Lin suddenly sensed other Mana signatures and couldn’t help but feel a bit relieved.
But then the Lifa Male suddenly changed its move. Instead of punching her, it grabbed her by the small foot.
Huh? What are you doing?
The Lifa Male slammed her hard into the ground, cracking the concrete pavement and creating a large hole.
Yin Lin’s Magic Shield cracked heavily but didn’t break—the impact was even weaker than a direct punch.
The Demonic Creature didn’t let go. It picked her up and slammed her into the ground again and again, dozens of times.
Then it lifted her and hurled her violently into a nearby utility pole, snapping it in two.
Still not letting go, it spun her around like a windmill, from the entrance of a residential building all the way to another street, smashing through several buildings.
Yin Lin kept her shield up and held out. She could take it, but she was getting dizzy from being spun.
If this continued, either her Mana would run dry, her Magic Shield would fail, and she’d be killed.
Or the Demonic Creature would bleed to death first.
As long as it didn’t let go and kept holding her foot, she couldn’t break free.
Their strengths weren’t on the same scale.
She kept waiting.
One of the Mana signatures finally appeared overhead—it was Huan Hong from the face therapy department.
She looked in great pain, tears streaming down her face, because her hands were tightly gripping Yin Lin’s Spear of Creation, and she was taking continuous magic damage.
She descended from the sky and stabbed viciously at the Demonic Creature.
It was a little off. The Demonic Creature dodged slightly.
The Spear of Creation struck the junction between its shoulder and neck, piercing through. Half of it sank into the flesh, causing heavy damage to its internal organs.
It roared in agony again.
That stab must have aggravated its other wounds.
The Lifa Male instinctively threw Yin Lin away.
At that moment, Yin Lin wanted to do something cool—like Tifa being thrown in Final Fantasy VII, trying to land steadily on a vertical wall.
But the Demonic Creature’s force was dozens of times stronger.
Yin Lin crashed straight through the wall, unable to hold her ground, and rolled awkwardly across the ground until she hit the end.
