Chapter 29: The Mischievous Hand

Shen Mo’s tears finally overflowed.

The nightmare of that night was repeating itself.

Yun He had used Su Wan’er as leverage to take him by force.

Since then, the high and mighty Female Sovereign’s gaze toward him had completely changed. It was as if she were looking at prey about to be skinned and deboned—holding both the playfulness of a cat with a mouse and the glint of a hungry wolf staring at fat meat.

A crisp sound echoed through the hall.

Shen Mo’s head was knocked to the side, a trace of blood oozing from the corner of his mouth as his cheek quickly reddened and swelled.

Seeing that touch of red, the madness in Yun He’s eyes grew even more intense.

She grabbed Shen Mo’s hands, pinned them above his head, and pressed her body heavily down upon him.

“Ah…” Shen Mo couldn’t help but let out a moan. The sound carried a sob, so weak that he felt ashamed of himself.

“What a beautiful sound,” Yun He sneered. “Is this how Qin Shuying made you cry out? Did that little girl, Chao’er, hear it too?”

At the mention of Chao’er, Shen Mo’s entire body stiffened.

Yun He keenly caught his reaction, her lips curling into a cruel arc.

“What? Are you afraid Chao’er will find out? That little disciple whom you raised with your own hands… if she knew her Master’s Husband, whom she respects like a god, was pleasuring himself like a whore beneath me, what would she think?”

“Don’t… don’t say any more…” Shen Mo shook his head in a breakdown. His body began to burn from the combined effects of shame and the medicine.

“Beg me.” Yun He whispered into his ear, her command brooking no argument. “Beg me just like you begged Qin Shuying.”

Shen Mo closed his eyes, and desperate tears slid into his hairline.

“What’s this?” Yun He looked at his appearance and laughed. “Are you afraid of me?”

Shen Mo didn’t speak.

Seeing his submissive look, the light in Yun He’s eyes deepened.

She released his chin, and her fingers slid down his neck, past his collarbone, and paused for a moment on that bite mark.

“That girl Shuying didn’t hold back at all.” She laughed meaningfully. “I’ve taught her for so many years, yet I didn’t know she had this hobby.”

Shen Mo’s eyelashes trembled.

Yun He’s hand continued downward, reaching into his lapels.

“But it’s just as well. She is exceptionally talented and will eventually become a Great Emperor. I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to control her, but now that I have you as her weakness, it saves me a lot of trouble.”

Yun He felt him trembling and smiled even wider.

As she spoke, her fingers gave a light tug, undoing his sash.

His outer robe slipped off, piling at his feet.

Shen Mo closed his eyes.

Yun He watched him, her gaze sliding from his brows to the corners of his mouth, from his mouth to his neck, from his neck to that bite mark, and finally stopping at his slightly heaving chest.

“Little Gentleman,” she suddenly spoke. “Do you know why I like you?”

Shen Mo didn’t answer.

Yun He didn’t care and continued on her own.

“Because you are clean.” Her finger tapped against his heart. “It’s clean here.”

She paused and smiled.

“Clean and pure. You don’t fight for anything, you don’t snatch anything; you just accept whatever anyone gives you. Unlike those other people, every single one of them is thinking of taking something from me.”

Her finger continued downward.

“That’s why I like you.”

Her voice was very light, as if she were telling a secret.

“I like you very much.”

Shen Mo’s eyelashes trembled.

He wanted to say something — to say ‘The Sect Leader overestimates me,’ or ‘This disciple doesn’t deserve it’ — the polite formalities he had said to everyone for seven years.

But he couldn’t say anything because Yun He’s hand had already —

Shen Mo’s breath hitched.

Yun He looked at his expression, the smile in her eyes deepening.

“Don’t hold back,” she whispered. “I want to hear it.”

Shen Mo gritted his teeth, not making a sound.

Yun He wasn’t angry.

He subconsciously reached out and held onto Yun He’s shoulders.

Yun He let him lean on her, even moving a few inches closer to him.

“Can’t stand up?” Her voice was full of amusement. “This is only the beginning.”

Shen Mo’s breathing became heavier and heavier.

‘I shouldn’t be like this,’ he thought.

He was Su Wan’er’s Husband.

He was the Lord of Jiaoyue Peak.

But he couldn’t push her away.

Then she smiled.

“Enduring it?” she asked. “Do you plan on enduring it forever?”

Shen Mo didn’t speak.

Yun He reached out, her thumb gently wiping the saliva from the corner of his mouth before putting it into her own mouth.

She licked it as if tasting something delicious.

“Sweet,” she said.

Shen Mo’s body shook even more violently.

Seeing him like this, the desire in Yun He’s eyes was like a wildfire that had been lit, burning brighter and hotter.

Her arms circled his waist, her chin resting on his shoulder.

“Little Gentleman,” she whispered in his ear. “Do you know that I’ve wanted you for a long time?”

Shen Mo closed his eyes.

He knew.

He had known since that first night.

Yun He’s hand began to move again.
