“Have you been filled with someone’s Yang Essence until you’ve lost your mind? How can you even say such a thing?” Tai Xuange’s face was ice-cold. Her secluded gaze scraped over Chihuang’s face like a knife, her tone laced with disdain. “Chihuang, if you really want to hear me call you Mistress, fine.”
She flipped her slender hand, and dark Dragon Essence condensed. A spear emitting a murderous golden aura instantly appeared in her hand, its tip pointing directly at Chihuang’s shapely body. She curled her lips into a cold smile. “Since you know I am a Maidservant by Jiang Huai’s side, I have to tell you something.”
“I, Qin Xuange, accept my losses. If you can beat me today, I’ll call you Mistress. But if you don’t win…”
Qin Xuange’s gaze moved past Chihuang to Jiang Huai, who was currently being pinned down by Chi Hong, his mouth gagged. Her tone turned even colder. “Then you will leave this place.”
These words made the corner of Chihuang’s mouth twitch. She opened her mouth to speak but quickly closed it again. Her original intention had only been to suppress the other woman’s arrogance, but she hadn’t expected Qin Xuange to pull a move like this.
“Humph, I’m not fighting you. I have a wonderful spring night to enjoy. Why would I draw swords and spears against you?” Chihuang raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms over her voluptuous chest, her tone mocking. “If I’m going to fight you, I’ll do it later. Right now, I’m just reminding you to follow the rules.”
“Have you ever seen a Maidservant point a spear at her Mistress? Do you have no sense of Etiquette?”
Qin Xuange retorted without showing any weakness, “I’ve never seen a Mistress stand naked at the door without feeling ashamed, either.”
“Don’t come at me with that Mistress talk. Even Su Yingman has never made me call her that.”
“Furthermore, I’ll stop being a Maidservant whenever I want!”
After saying that, she glared fiercely at Jiang Huai inside the room once more, retracted her spear, and stomped away in anger.
Chihuang let out a soft snort. Under her gaze, Qin Xuange transformed into a Black Dragon. With a flash of dark light, she took to the skies and disappeared to parts unknown.
“What’s the big deal?” she muttered to herself. She looked around, afraid someone might see her standing at the door of the Quiet Room like this.
Bang!
She slammed the door shut, locking in the room’s spring scenery.
Chi Hong finally let go of his mouth and asked Chihuang with a helpless gaze, “What kind of talk was that? I thought you had some grand insight, but it was just this?”
“What good does it do you to drive her away?”
She could feel that Jiang Huai’s state was clearly off when Qin Xuange was mentioned, so she was quite dissatisfied with her disciple’s actions. Even if they really looked down on each other, it wasn’t good to have such a confrontation face-to-face. It was better to just say a few things behind her back. If Qin Xuange really followed Jiang Huai in the future, how would the two of them get along in the Nine Heavens Palace?
“Humph, she’s always talking about me. I just didn’t want to take it anymore.” Chihuang seemed to realize her behavior was a bit poor, so she simply sat down on a nearby cushion. Her voluptuous bottom was squeezed into a bunch as she propped up her face to look at her Honored Master.
She saw that her Honored Master’s breathing was ragged, her face was flushed, and a strange depth was in her eyes. Her delicate body twitched from time to time, leaving Chihuang feeling bewildered.
“Honored Master, how long has it been?”
“Aren’t you tired?” she couldn’t help but ask.
Chi Hong rolled her eyes at her, her eyes as seductive as silk. She waved a hand and said, “I’m not tired. I’m at the Great Ascension Stage, after all. Could I really be handled by a tiny Nascent Soul Stage cultivator?”
This question was essentially pointless. She knew what her disciple meant, but she was simply unwilling to come down. Although she was many years older than Chihuang, she was indeed suppressing the Red Dragon. Having experienced these clouds and rain for the first time, she didn’t want to yield her position just yet.
“Honored Master, this isn’t right. I’ve already—” Chihuang’s tone was complaining, her eyes flickering with dissatisfaction, but she was helpless. She looked at Jiang Huai, hoping he would say something.
Jiang Huai pushed Chi Hong and said through gritted teeth, “Give me the Yin Yuan! Why do you keep holding onto it and not letting go?”
For so long, she had been doing nothing but enjoying herself, keeping a tight grip on his essence to tease him. Occasionally, she would release a tiny bit, leaving Jiang Huai’s Soul entranced, only to snatch it back an instant later, constantly toying with him. Having been fooled and played with by this master and disciple duo without getting what he wanted, he couldn’t help but push Chi Hong again.
Pushed by him, Chi Hong’s figure surged like rolling waves. She laughed brightly, her dark hair dancing wildly, her eyes full of charm. “Don’t be in such a hurry. Being anxious won’t help right now.”
“Even if you take the Red Dragon’s, aren’t there still the Azure Dragon’s and the Yellow Dragon’s?”
“Don’t be so impatient.”
Naturally, she wouldn’t hand it over so quickly. She glanced at her dejected disciple and made a move to get up.
Seeing her move, a glimmer of Hope flashed in Chihuang’s eyes, and she hurried to stand up. However, in the next moment, she saw her Honored Master sit back down heavily. The corner of Chihuang’s mouth twitched, and she slapped her thigh in frustration before sitting back down.
Chi Hong’s gaze lingered between Chihuang and Jiang Huai. She bit her red lip, her mature and charming face filled with anticipation as she leaned in to whisper in his ear, “Jiang Huai, can’t you perform a Transformation?”
“Transform for me and let me see.”
Jiang Huai’s heart immediately raced as he asked, “What are you trying to do?”
Recalling Qin Qingyue, he added, “I’m not turning small. Don’t even think about it.”
“That’s a crime, do you understand?”
Chi Hong’s eyes lit up. She patted Jiang Huai’s chest with her slender hand and said expectantly, “You can even turn small? Right, you can turn small.”
“How did I not think of that? Tsk tsk…”
“Transform for me. Make it a small one, a tender one, one I can hold in my arms. Do you understand?”
For Jiang Huai to react like this, he must have been asked before. It was likely Qin Qingyue’s doing. To think she had been eating so well in private? She actually got to eat such a premium delicacy?
Standing nearby, Chihuang also grew interested. She couldn’t help but lean in to look at Jiang Huai.
Jiang Huai glared and shook his head in refusal, sounding righteous: “No, I can’t accept this.”
Chi Hong wasn’t in a hurry. She just sighed and said, “But the thing you want is still in my hands. What if I don’t give it to you?”
“You’d better be obedient. Even if you don’t transform today, can you avoid it tomorrow?”
She hooked Jiang Huai’s chin, forcing him to look directly at her, her delicate body heaving continuously. “One day, you’ll transform into a Dragon obediently. Even if I don’t ask for it, your wives and concubines certainly will.”
“You have to make everyone happy, after all.”
Hearing her speak so logically and remembering how Su Yingman and Tang Zhaoxue had both indirectly asked him about transforming into a Dragon with impure, ambiguous intentions, he understood the two women’s true thoughts. However, he had deliberately avoided acknowledging it, pretending he didn’t know.
Jiang Huai felt some aversion to this sort of thing, thinking it was a bit inappropriate, but he couldn’t withstand how everyone around him was eyeing that form of his hungrily. Hearing Chi Hong’s words, he realized he likely couldn’t escape this fate.
He sighed and gave Chi Hong a light slap. It wasn’t hard, making only a slight sound.
“And after I transform?” He looked straight at Chi Hong and asked softly.
Chi Hong touched her face, feeling a bit surprised, but the corners of her mouth curled high. She glanced at Chihuang. “Chihuang is getting impatient. Why don’t you use your tail to help her?”
“That’s the benefit of our Dragon Race. We have tails to use. Haven’t you ever used yours?”
