But in reality, it was just the teacher leading the students around, showing them what to do at each time of day and explaining the schedule of the academy’s several cable magitech trains.
In the morning, Teacher Hera took the class on a tour of the other departments.
First, they visited the alchemy department, watching senior teachers and upperclassmen brew potions or transmute one material into another.
Then they moved to the magitech department, where, under the guidance of a magitech instructor, they tried the basic process of selecting raw materials, casting a mold, and inscribing runes to create a simple magitech device.
Even with the academy’s facilities making the so-called “basic” process extremely simplified — practically foolproof — most students still failed to produce anything decent. In the end, they could only glumly carry their lopsided, misshapen creations back onto the magitech train, heading toward the campus dining area for lunch.
Ye Xu, of course, was not among them.

Isxila blinked her captivating eyes, her lively expression causing the surrounding students’ faces to flush and their hearts to race. They shot envious glances at Ye Xu.
At the same time, they silently vowed to master magitech arts quickly so they could craft novel gadgets to win the princess’s favor.

“Now, I’ll take you all to the dining area for lunch.”

The “Endless Mountain Range District” referred to the region where the academy was located, directly bordering the Endless Mountain Range.
In the center, the left side listed the student’s name, gender, year, and student number, while the right side displayed their photo.
“If you want to spend money in the city or on campus, you’ll need to exchange external currency for credits and load them onto this card.”

Ye Xu decided he would treat himself to a proper meal.
Since arriving in this world, he hadn’t really eaten well.
Part of it was that he simply didn’t care much for food, and part of it was that he’d never had the time.
Now, with the change in environment and so many unfamiliar delicacies before him, he intended to indulge himself for once and sample everything.

Two hours later, the students returned to the dining area entrance, full and satisfied, only to find Teacher Hera already waiting — along with the three exasperated figures of Ye Xu’s group standing behind her.
Once most of the class had gathered and she confirmed no one was missing, the teacher glanced at the approaching magitech train in the distance and beamed as she dropped a bombshell that left the rest of the students stunned.
“Alright, everyone aboard! We’re heading to the hangar to pilot Magitech Knights — time for your very first practical combat lesson!”
“Perfect timing after lunch — now you’ve got plenty of energy to fight!”
