“Rou Rou, where did you go last night? I didn’t see you at all this morning.”

Gong Nanxue looked at Bai Rourou, but her gaze was immediately drawn to the gray-silver collar necklace around her neck.

Curiosity piqued, she asked, “What is that?”

“This… this is a collar necklace.”

Bai Rourou forced a smile despite the discomfort she was feeling in her body, and softly said, “Isn’t it pretty?”

“It really is quite nice.”

Gong Nanxue nodded, unable to stop her eyes from gliding upward.

Wearing the collar necklace, Bai Rourou looked even more alluring.

The class ended quickly, followed by a half-hour break and a switch to another classroom for the next lesson.

Gong Nanxue instinctively grasped Rou Rou’s small hand and led her to the next classroom.

But once she realized it, the soft touch in her palm made her reluctant to let go.

Looking at the still sleepy, dazed, and adorable Rou Rou by her side, she simply held on tighter.

After finding seats in the new classroom, Gong Nanxue watched Bai Rourou prepare to rest her head down again and spoke up, “If you’re tired, you can lean on me and sleep.”

“Really?”

The girl’s eyes brightened softly. Her little hands fidgeted nervously with the hem of her clothes as she carefully whispered, “Would that be too much trouble for Nan Sister?”

“No, come here.”

Upon hearing this, Gong Nanxue, straightforward and decisive by nature, reached out to wrap an arm around the girl’s slender waist, pulling her entire upper body into her embrace.

“Just rest here and sleep.”

The fragrance instantly filled her nose.

Gong Nanxue gently positioned Bai Rourou’s head against the side of her chest and shoulder.

“Nan Sister, you’re really a good person.”

Bai Rourou sweetly thanked her before closing her eyes and falling asleep soon after.

“Am I getting friend-zoned now?”

Gong Nanxue smiled softly, the warmth from her palm made her realize she was still holding Bai Rourou’s waist.

She didn’t want to let go.

Gong Nanxue recalled the feeling of the two of them lying naked together in the inn that day.
