Squeezed between the two women, the space Su Ling could occupy became incredibly small.
Awkward and embarrassed, Su Ling’s cheeks turned slightly red. She lowered her head and clasped her hands tightly together, looking somewhat at a loss.
On the day she was schemed against by Moria, Su Ling had used her communication bracelet to contact Tii. She had fallen asleep in the Earth Dragon Cart and communicated the vehicle’s location to Tii in real-time through her consciousness.
Because of this, Tii, the Poet, and the organization’s mercenaries were able to set an ambush in advance, successfully intercepting the Earth Dragon Cart that was holding Sista and Su Ling captive.
This was why the situation had unfolded in a way that Sista never expected.
However, the somewhat mischievous Tii didn’t seem to want Sista to know about the bracelet, so she specifically asked Su Ling to keep it a secret for her.
As for Tii herself, she made up stories about “telepathy” and “destiny,” even going so far as to say, “Little Su Ling and I are a match made in heaven.” This had provoked Sista to the point of being fuming mad, nearly resulting in a fight on the spot.
In the past, due to reasons involving their race, personalities, and respective factions, Sista and Tii had always disliked each other. They had only refrained from a total fallout because of the overall situation.
Now that the three of them were reunited by some twist of fate, and their identities and positions had undergone subtle changes, the long-suppressed conflict was on the verge of exploding. Neither of them could stand the sight of the other.
However, whether it was Sista or Tii, they shared one common goal—they both wanted Su Ling to stand on their side.
Thus, Su Ling found herself in a complete dilemma.
She had no idea how to deal with these two women.
“Don’t think I don’t know what you’re planning!”
“Me? I’m afraid that’s just your own lack of confidence. Do you think Su Ling won’t choose you?”
Su Ling coughed softly, attempting to interject.
“Princess Sista, Tii, could you both please…”
However, her words were quickly drowned out by their bickering.
Feeling like her ears were about to grow callouses if she listened any longer, Su Ling finally gathered her courage and shouted in a small but firm voice:
“Can you two please be quiet…”
Those words worked surprisingly well.
Sista and Tii stopped arguing at the same time and turned to look at her.
Their gazes landed on her like sharp blades, making Su Ling even more nervous. Her cheeks burned, and her eyes were full of helplessness and embarrassment.
“Little Su Ling, we’re resting at an inn tonight. If there are only two rooms left, who would you like to share a room with?”
Tii asked with a smile, her tone carrying a faint sense of pressure.
“Huh? Wh-what?”
“Hmph, you know which one to choose,” Sista said coldly, her red eyes filled with intense pressure.
“I… I…”
Su Ling stammered, her heart rate suddenly accelerating.
‘Should I choose Tii or Sista?’
‘Please, can’t there just be three rooms! Don’t throw such a strange “choose between your girlfriend or your mother” question at me!’
‘If possible, I just want to stay in a room by myself and have no one bother me!’
However, no matter how firm she was in her mind, the words that came out of her mouth were soft and timid.
“I… I hope you two can get along peacefully and stop fighting…”
Sista and Tii glanced at each other.
“So, Little Su Ling wants to sleep with both of us?” A meaningful smile curled at the corner of Tii’s mouth.
“Ah—huh? No! That’s not it!”
Su Ling’s face instantly paled with shock.
‘Is there something wrong with your understanding?! How did things head in such a strange direction!’
‘These two women… want to sleep with me?’
She raised her hands to cover her head as her thoughts began to run wild.
‘Sleeping together… that means sleeping together at night.’
‘The same room? Or the same bed? Don’t tell me… under the same blanket!?’
She quickly forced herself to stop, not allowing her thoughts to go any further.
But another thought immediately popped up.
‘Wait—what about the nightly goodnight kiss with Sista? Am I supposed to do that in front of Tii as well?’
‘What would Tii think of me? Would she be angry?’
‘No, no, no—’
‘If I really kiss Sista in front of Tii, then Tii will definitely act cute and beg for me to kiss her once too.’
‘And looking at a Tii like that, I wouldn’t have the heart to refuse.’
‘So the result would be—kissing Tii in front of Sista!?’
*Boom!*
Su Ling’s mind instantly exploded.
‘If that happens, Sista’s possessiveness will definitely spiral out of control on the spot!’
‘No matter which side I choose, it’s a disaster!’
The more she thought about it, the worse it got. Su Ling was nearly at her breaking point.
Since she had already spoken, she could only turn a pleading gaze toward Sista.
‘Maybe… she’ll give in?’
‘It’s not good to “bully the weak and fear the strong,” but Tii’s personality is relatively gentler. If Sista takes a firm stance, maybe Tii will take a step back…’
“Are you joking? Su Ling is my property!”
Sure enough, Sista stood up abruptly, anger surging in her red eyes.
“She can only be with me!”
“That same old line again. Her Highness really is childish.”
Tii narrowed her eyes, the provocation in her tone becoming increasingly obvious.
“I’ve always disliked this about you. You only know how to use force to keep Su Ling by your side, completely ignoring her feelings. How could someone like that ever be liked by her?”
“Since she is mine, her heart can only belong to me.”
“Since you’re so confident in your own charm, why don’t you dare to agree to this proposal?”
As she spoke, Tii leaned past Su Ling, staring Sista down without flinching.
Cat-like green pupils locked onto the red eyes unique to the Blood Clan.
The air seemed to freeze.
Two invisible forces collided, neither willing to back down.
Su Ling sat frozen in the middle, having no idea what to do.
The situation had long since spiraled out of her control.
“If Little Su Ling has you in her heart, she will naturally lean toward you even if I am by her side—ah, or could it be that you’re feeling insecure now? Is it because you know that she likes me more?”
“Shut up!”
Sista finally erupted, her voice rising sharply.
That sense of oppression from Hailuosen Castle resurfaced.
“How could I be afraid of a minor character like you! It’s impossible for Su Ling to escape my control, and even more impossible for her to give you a second look!”
“Then why don’t we find out tonight?”
Tii laughed softly, her voice light yet sharp.
“You! I don’t agree—”
“Or are you afraid?”
“Don’t push your luck!”
…It was over.
It was really over.
It was just a hypothetical question, wasn’t it? These two women were actually going to start a real fight!
She probably wouldn’t be able to sleep at all tonight.
Su Ling even began to seriously consider one thing—
‘Maybe I should just sleep in the carriage.’
