It was within expectations that Susia would be interested in Rosily.
It made perfect sense, and there was nothing wrong with her saying such a thing.
The real issue lay in where her interest in Rosily was focused, which differed from others.
Compared to those who displayed curiosity toward Rosily’s extraordinary talent…
What Susia wanted to understand most was the relationship between Rosily and Estelle.
Rosily’s reaction to the other woman’s interest was flat, and she was even somewhat wary of her. Susia merely laughed off her vigilance and distance.
Just as she was about to ask Rosily what her relationship was with Enya, Susia seemed to sense something.
Her moist, thin lips, which had just parted slightly, pressed back together.
She turned her body to look at the group slowly approaching from not far away.
Walking at the very front were two young girls with vastly different styles.
The girl with light purple hair was tall with a graceful, curvaceous figure.
She had an exquisite, beautiful face, and she held her head slightly high with a faint smile.
Simply standing there, she exuded a noble aura that made people hesitate to look her directly in the eyes.
Susia’s pink pupils first landed on Ishumir, then glanced at the gorgeous girl with burgundy hair beside her.
Only then did she turn her head to peek at Lilith beside her, only to find that Lilith was hiding behind her back.
She looked as if she were afraid to be seen, as if she were avoiding someone’s gaze.
Susia could likely guess that Lilith was avoiding the attention of the red-themed girl beside Ishumir.
She covered her mouth and teased in a low voice.
“Hehe, has Lilith had a change of heart? Before, if I got a little close, you looked unhappy. Now you’re actively leaning in?”
“You…”
Lilith was furious, but she ultimately forced herself to endure it. She hid behind Susia to avoid Yelena’s direct gaze.
She felt a strange sense of shame right now.
Only Yelena knew her true form here.
Lilith felt like she was pretending to be a little girl to hang out with other kids, only to be caught red-handed by her own younger sister. It was so shameful it made her chest ache!
Both Rosily and Elqi frowned.
They both said the same thing in their hearts: ‘One group just left, and now another comes. Is there no end to this?’
Everyone had different thoughts, but only Estelle was free of distractions.
She didn’t even look at Ishumir and Yelena as they walked over.
She stood quietly in place, silently cultivating her Nightmare Power.
She hadn’t reached the bottleneck of the Fourth Rank yet and still needed to accumulate for a while. She couldn’t slack off during this time.
To build a better foundation for the future, she could even suppress her breakthrough at the Fourth Rank for a while to gain longer-term benefits.
Estelle still loved cultivating as much as ever.
Ishumir and Yelena, along with several accompanying personnel behind them, arrived in front of Rosily and Susia.
“Princess Susia, why have you come?”
She first greeted Susia before speaking to Rosily.
“This one is called Rosily, right? I wonder if you have any interest in coming to Moonview City in our West Wind Empire. I can guarantee that you will obtain cultivation resources ten times better than what you have here!”
“If there is anything else you want, feel free to say it. I can consider anything. What do you think?”
Rosily remained silent.
Elqi couldn’t help but squeeze Rosily’s hand. Hearing Ishumir’s words, she felt a momentary sense of panic.
But as she turned her head and saw Rosily’s eyes, which remained calm without a single ripple, the heart she had just held in her throat settled back down.
‘I knew it, she isn’t that kind of person!’
Before Rosily could answer, Susia pulled Lilith to Rosily’s side and turned to face Ishumir.
As the two faced each other, a clash of gazes began. It looked as if there might be some history between them.
Yelena looked at Ishumir and Susia, then at the raggedly dressed Rosily and Elqi, and finally at Estelle, who seemed to be in a daze.
Lastly, she looked at her small and petite older sister. Lilith currently had an extremely embarrassed expression on her face.
Yelena smiled. She wasn’t the least bit angry that Ishumir was trying to poach someone from the Academy right in front of her. After all, she knew it was impossible for Rosily to agree.
While Ishumir and Susia were in the heat of their silent confrontation, Rosily suddenly spoke. “You’re asking me what I want?”
Her voice interrupted the two who also came from the West. Both Ishumir and Susia turned their gazes toward Rosily at the same time.
Ishumir was the first to speak.
“That’s right. As long as it is something I can provide.”
A flicker of doubt passed through Susia’s eyes, but she had already witnessed the things Rosily had done. She had some understanding of Rosily’s character, so she didn’t say anything for the moment.
Then, Rosily’s eyes swept up and down Ishumir. It was an blatant look, like a little girl sizing up a beautiful doll in a shop window—an extremely “lewd” gaze.
Ishumir’s smile stiffened slightly. She had a bad premonition.
Just as Ishumir wanted to speak up and interrupt Rosily’s momentum, Rosily beat her to the punch.
“I want you. That’s something you can certainly afford, right?”
“Hehehe, good!”
Susia immediately let out a joyful laugh.
Elqi looked completely bewildered, while Yelena’s mouth hung open. Behind the pink skirt, Lilith poked her head out to look at Rosily, also unable to believe she would say such a thing.
Although Rosily had just raised her middle finger to the crowd, beaten the Academy’s guests at will, and was always causing trouble and acting intimately with many girls…
Lilith had always felt that Rosily was a good girl, the kind who would get married in the future.
After all, she had always maintained the image of an obedient, good girl in front of her mother.
She never expected that Rosily could say such cool yet shameful words in public, and to another woman like Ishumir, no less.
Behind Ishumir, the maid heard Rosily’s words and immediately stepped in front of her mistress. Looking like a bristling cat, she was filled with hostility toward Rosily.
“Do not be rude to the Missy!”
By now, everyone’s eyes were focused on Ishumir, observing the young lady’s micro-expressions and waiting to see how she would respond.
Ishumir’s breath hitched for a moment. When Rosily said she wanted her, Ishumir felt like she had thrown a punch into cotton, only to be swallowed by it. For a moment, it was hard to pull herself out.
‘Tsk, this woman…’
She was embarrassed and annoyed in her heart, cursing Rosily for being a pervert.
Ishumir’s eyes deepened as she stared intently at the blonde girl before her. After letting out a light breath, she spoke slowly.
“You really want me?”
“You really want to give yourself to me?”
Rosily blinked her eyes innocently and sized Ishumir up again. Then, she nodded as if satisfied.
“It’s quite good. You have a beautiful face, and your figure is great too.”
While looking, Rosily took an extra glance at Ishumir’s chest. The undulating peaks were a pair of full, rounded fruits.
Rosily liked those the most.
The corner of Ishumir’s mouth twitched. She wasn’t a stranger to people who didn’t follow a normal rhythm, so her composure was still quite good.
Not only did she not refute Rosily, but she also generously puffed out her chest and raised her head, showing off her snowy-white, slender swan neck.
“It’s not exactly impossible…”
As Ishumir spoke, she lifted her skirt and performed a standard noblewoman’s curtsy to Rosily before saying, “My name is Ishmir Salato, daughter of Count Sarato. Miss Rosily, if you want to have me, you must eliminate the fiancé my father betrothed me to.”
“His strength… is several times stronger than what you just displayed. If Miss Rosily can take him out, I would be very willing to serve by Miss Rosily’s side.”
Rosily’s words had been shocking, and Ishumir’s two sentences were equally stunning. Almost everyone present now wore an expression of astonishment.
‘Holy crap, these youngsters?!’
“Oh.” Rosily smiled. “Then I’ll remember that!”
“?”
Upon hearing Rosily’s words, Elqi wore a confused expression. She wondered if her ears had deceived her.
Just as she was about to ask Rosily about it, Rosily grabbed her and naturally said another strange thing to everyone.
“I’m going home to find my mom. I’ll tell her I beat up a lot of people again today. She’ll definitely praise me for getting stronger.”
With that said, Rosily really didn’t want to stay there and continue talking to these people. She started running, taking Elqi with her.
As she passed Estelle, Rosily grabbed her sister’s arm and dragged her along as well.
Susia’s brow furrowed. She turned around, scooped up Lilith who was hiding behind her, and chased after the direction Rosily had run.
As she left, she looked back and said to Ishumir, “If there is a chance, we could catch up on old times.”
“I’m ready whenever you are, Princess Susia—”
Ishumir didn’t back down an inch.
After they were far away, Ishumir’s maid asked her with her eyes why she had said those things to Rosily.
And right in front of Yelena…
Ishumir’s dissatisfaction with that person was ultimately a personal matter, but the marriage was a contract tied to the interests of their families. How could a simple beating make someone call off the engagement?
Even if she wanted to shift the trouble onto someone else, this wasn’t the way to do it, was it?
The maid was baffled. Ishumir then spoke indifferently to Yelena beside her. “You are truly lucky.”
“Lucky…”
Yelena was confused for a moment, but she soon understood.
She had become a Lord entirely by accident. If her sister hadn’t suddenly turned into that state, Yelena would still be a student at the Academy right now.
Just like Ishumir was now.
To say she was lucky was because she had become a Lord without having to pay any price. It was so easy and effortless. Truly, such “luck.”
Yelena grumbled secretly.
‘What good luck? It’s clearly a massive responsibility and pressure!’
On the other side, Rosily looked at the carriage interior that had originally been spacious enough for her to move around in. Now, it was packed with people.
Susia was holding Lilith and sitting on one side with Estelle, while Rosily sat on the other side with Elqi. They looked at each other in silence, no one having anything to say for a moment.
Rosily pouted. Earlier, Susia had run up on her own, and no matter how she tried to block her, she couldn’t. She had even used Lilith to jam the door.
‘What’s going on? Why are so many people going to my house?’
‘Wait, why did I bring Elqi with me?’
Rosily glanced sideways at the nervous Elqi beside her, only then realizing she seemed to have kidnapped someone.
North Gate, Madam Phil’s Alchemy Workshop Building.
In a room on the second floor, a woman on a bed stretched her body and opened a pair of majestic, gold-red dragon eyes. After Enya sat up, she pressed her fingers against her brow and rubbed it gently.
“Such a headache…”
She hadn’t really been sleeping in late. Instead, she had been peeking for a while to see what her daughters were up to. Everything had been fine before, but the things that happened later were a bit strange—especially that last part.
