Antiros hopped down from her chair, but given her height, she barely reached the level of the round table.
It was fine while Enya was beside her, but if she stood on the opposite side, one would only be able to see the top half of her head.
After stepping away from her seat, she walked slowly toward the door she had entered from, speaking as she went.
“As you can see, this space is more real than before.”
“It has details…”
Just as she said, the initial Meeting of the Order had taken place in a pitch-black void.
If the current setting was compared to a villa, the previous version had been like a crudely assembled table and a few chairs placed out in the middle of the wilderness.
Now, the Mirror Meeting had a dedicated venue that resembled a palace, making it feel far more formal.
This was a leap in development that couldn’t help but pique everyone’s curiosity.
The reason Antiros had made them walk through a hallway that felt like a cinematic entrance was to showcase the explosive growth of magical engineering.
She reached the massive door and placed her small hand against the heavy, dark-brown wood.
After a moment, Antiros slowly turned around and continued as everyone watched her.
“That mirror acts more as a Key — an anchor to link this space, allowing you to enter and exit freely.”
“Additionally, I have added a private room feature.”
“The meeting will conclude for now. If there is anything you want to discuss amongst yourselves, you can reach out to each other at any time. Of course, that feature requires mutual consent.”
Antiros’s gaze swept over the others before finally landing on Enya.
A piece of paper suddenly appeared in front of Enya.
She picked it up and saw that it contained instructions on how to use the functions within this space.
After she finished reading, golden flames incinerated the page.
Enya opened her palm, and through her black lace glove, she saw the mark that had just been imprinted on her index finger.
‘[Admin Permissions],’ Enya whispered.
She looked up at Antiros, only to find that the girl had already slipped through the crack in the door and vanished.
The sight made the corners of Enya’s mouth twitch.
‘This woman is suspicious!’
Enya turned her gaze to the others: the Demon Lord Princess Liz, the Elven Saintess Eliv, the Golden Fox Princess Zeta, and the Empire’s Princess Vivienne.
None of them showed much emotion, but Enya could still tell they were surprised by Antiros’s craftsmanship.
After all, those who could actually comprehend this level of technology were few and far between.
Rather than being curious about how she did it, they felt a deep sense of admiration for Antiros.
Enya looked down at her hands resting on her lap, her right index finger twitching slightly.
She didn’t quite understand why Antiros had given her these permissions.
‘Does she want me to help her catch bugs?’
Beside her, Vivienne spared her a glance.
After letting out a resentful snort, the princess rose from her seat and walked toward the door.
Eliv watched Vivienne’s retreating figure before looking at the seated Enya.
She gave a light laugh and said, “Ms. Moth, if you have the chance, you are welcome to come to the Elven Kingdom for tea.”
“I will, I will,” Enya replied dismissively.
Eliv’s expression chilled instantly, and she too rose and left her seat.
Enya felt a strange chill on the back of her neck.
After watching her leave through the door, Enya turned her head to see the Golden Fox Princess, who was now kneeling on the table with her nose pressed against Enya’s chest.
Sniff… Sniff…
The two fox ears on Zeta’s head twitched. On her exquisite and charming face, her eyebrows rose and furrowed alternately.
“It’s full of the scent of demons…”
Zeta looked up, her watery blue eyes narrowing as they locked onto Enya’s face.
However, there was no way she could see through the layer of blur and the mask to perceive the playful expression on Enya’s face underneath.
Enya lied calmly. “I am a demon, so of course I smell like one.”
“Do you taste like one too?”
“Of course.”
“Oh, well then, if there’s a chance, I’ll have to have a proper taste.”
Zeta opened her small mouth and smiled innocently, her pink tongue licking her lips to reveal a pair of long canines.
‘She still likes talking like that…’
Enya didn’t bother responding.
She simply used her [Admin Permissions] to kick Zeta offline. Only the Demon Lord Princess, Liz, remained at the round table.
Liz gazed at Enya’s face and asked, “Do you know the history between the Demon Race and demons?”
“I don’t…”
Enya shook her head.
Though she said that, she actually knew a bit.
After all, this was a topic Liz had discussed with her when they had parted ways.
Back when Liz was just one of the royal heirs and Enya wasn’t yet a Sword Saint, they had explored an ancient Ruin together and experienced many life-or-death moments.
Before they separated, Liz had told her about the connection between the Demon Race and demons.
To talk about the Demon Race, one had to talk about humans.
It was common knowledge that humans were a very weak race compared to other intelligent species.
Their only advantage was their rapid reproduction. In ancient times, the rule was that the weak would be domesticated and enslaved.
Yet, the enslaved humans were constantly fighting against this cruel fate.
They tried various methods, including stealing the power of gods.
Once, there was a group of people who stole the power of demons.
Their descendants became what is known today as the Demon Race.
In the history of the Demon Race, those people were called the Lords of the Royal Court, and the one who led them was called the Demon Lord.
The two races, humans and the Demon Race, who have been killing each other for a thousand years, are actually two branches of the same origin.
Today, the Demon Race still had ten Royal Courts, but they weren’t the only powerhouses; some hidden entities hadn’t shown their faces for a thousand years.
‘Bloodline… bloodline again?’
After recalling this and connecting it to the information she had previously acquired about bloodlines, Enya could make a very bold guess.
Depending on the power stolen, the appearance of the various Royal Courts of the Demon Race varied drastically.
Henna’s transformation from human to Blood Elf was considered very minor.
Enya’s transformation from human to Dragon — that was a massive change!
‘There are two ways to obtain a bloodline: either steal it or seize it, or please a god and have them bestow their power.’
‘Interesting…’ Enya thought to herself. If one were to seize every single bloodline, what would the final result be? To achieve such a thing, one would likely have to kill everyone in the world.
Anyone who tried would undoubtedly be a true villain.
After watching Enya for a while, Liz also stood up and left the space.
Even after everyone had gone, Enya remained in her seat; the space did not automatically kick her out.
Sunlight poured through the glass onto a balcony that spanned several dozen square meters.
Vivienne opened her eyes in her chair and looked toward the maid waiting nearby.
“How are things in Red Pine City?”
“Everything is the same as before. The people sent there have been specifically instructed not to make a fuss if they notice anything strange.”
A hint of resentment flickered in the maid’s eyes, but she suppressed it, forcing herself to maintain the proper etiquette of a maid.
Vivienne smiled and used a comb to tidy her beautiful, long pink hair.
She rose from her chair and gave a casual command.
“I want all the information regarding Golden Town and the Golden Empire. Once you find it, have them send it directly to my room.”
“Yes, Your Highness.”
The maid nodded and retreated from the room.
In a dark room within the Northland States.
A blue-haired woman with fox ears and a tail gently stroked the Golden Fox Princess, who was sleeping with her head on her lap. Suddenly, the golden fox opened her eyes.
Zeta stared at her sister’s chest, which was large enough to block half the ceiling from her view.
After a moment of dazing, she broke into a grin.
“Sister Delta, Zeta wants to go on a long trip. Please give me your permission.”
“…”
The blue-haired woman possessed a fox-like charm, but she didn’t feel provocative; instead, she gave off an air of extreme, alluring tenderness.
Her eyes, in particular, made anyone who met her gaze let down all their defenses.
After hearing Zeta’s request, she thought for a moment before asking, “Where is little Zeta going?”
“It’s a secret!”
Zeta rolled off Delta’s lap, propped herself up on the floor with her hands, and looked up at her.
The Golden Fox Princess’s tail wagged vigorously.
“I’ll bring a gift for Sister Delta when I get back!”
“A gift?”
“Yes! You are definitely going to love it!”
“Hehe, alright then. I’ll look forward to it.”
Delta laughed, covering her mouth. Zeta stood up, walked to the window, and pulled back the curtains.
After pushing open the glass window, she jumped straight out.
Enya slowly opened her eyes and scanned the empty chairs around the round table. She stood up and walked into an open area.
She wasn’t in a hurry to log out; instead, she began to wander around the place.
After walking a full circle around the circular hall, she came to a halt.
Enya reached out and mimicked the motion of grabbing a doorknob. Immediately, a small wooden door appeared in front of her.
The Mirror Meeting no longer utilized a temporary space; it now had a fixed one.
The change Antiros had made was equivalent to upgrading a local area network to a server connection.
The permissions Enya had received were essentially the Key to the server’s backend.
Because of this, she could create a door in the hall at will.
She pushed the door open to find a starry sky inside.
However, this starry sky was different from the one Enya had encountered in the Ruins of the Goddess of Night.
It wasn’t active; it felt more like a static texture.
Ignoring it, Enya stepped inside. The door closed on its own and vanished in the blink of an eye.
Enya continued forward until she reached the bank of a river of stars. A shadowy black figure arrived, rowing a small boat, and Enya stepped onto it.
The shadow figure used a long pole to churn the river of stars, providing power for the wooden boat to glide toward the end of the starlight.
There stood a circular hollow with a solid white dot at its center.
Before entering the hollow, Enya looked up at the sky.
It was a massive expanse of dark clouds with surging lightning.
Through the clouds, one could glimpse a land piled with skeletons, where a stark white, thorny tree connected heaven and earth.
