They say that heroes find it hard to resist a beauty’s charms.
Luo Shuangyue felt she definitely counted as a hero, and Xia Mo was indeed a beauty.
Aside from their positions in bed being somewhat reversed, her current situation truly resembled those great heroes who had been worn out by wine and women.
“Haah…” Stretching in the morning light, Luo Shuangyue heard her sore body popping and cracking.
Xia Mo’s appetite seemed to be growing lately.
These past few days, she had been tossing her around until midnight every night, making Luo Shuangyue wonder if spring had truly arrived.
Dressed in translucent pajamas, Xia Mo was still fast asleep.
As the one who had done the most exercise during the night, it was only natural that she slept deeper than Luo Shuangyue.
Carefully rolling out of bed, Luo Shuangyue walked into the bathroom to wash her face and tidy up the marks left on her body before returning to the room to change into normal clothes.
Her current schedule was quite full, with things to do every day.
For example, today she had to accompany Monice to study the mysteries of the spatial fragments.
By then, Xia Mo had also opened her bleary eyes. Seeing Luo Shuangyue busy in the room, she murmured indistinctly, “You’re leaving so early…?”
“It’s not early; the sun is already high in the sky,” Luo Shuangyue replied casually.
“It’s fine. I’m off today anyway.”
“Then enjoy your day off. I have to go find Monice.”
“Zzz…”
Watching Xia Mo sink back into her dreams, Luo Shuangyue smiled with a mix of helplessness and indulgence before quietly leaving the room.
“Boss! Oh, Yi is here too?” When Luo Shuangyue found Monice, she was surprised to see a little acquaintance standing beside her.
Yi, the Elf Magical Girl who possessed special Starlight Magic, was standing obediently next to Monice.
It looked like she was going to join them in exploring the mysteries of the spatial fragments.
“Yes. My Mentors said that if I want my magic to progress, I need to experience the mysteries of space personally. So, I asked Mentor Monice to bring me along to study inside Sister Shuangyue’s spatial fragment.”
“I see. However, there’s nothing in that spatial fragment right now, so you might not find much to study.” Luo Shuangyue didn’t think of refusing this extra little guest.
That spatial fragment was empty and as safe as could be. Even if Yi got lost, Luo Shuangyue could rely on her control over the fragment to bring her back.
Besides, she just so happened to want some time alone with Yi to ask about the girl’s thoughts regarding her younger sister.
Luo Shuangxing had truly been ignoring everything outside to focus solely on the Sages’ Books lately.
Even though she was so close to Yi, that wretched child was actually forcing herself to endure not going out to play with her.
Luo Shuangyue couldn’t help but cry out internally that her sister was simply too chicken. ‘How are you supposed to find true love like this?’
Unfortunately, the cowardice Luo Shuangxing inherited from Luo Shuangyue was likely etched into her very bones.
No matter how Luo Shuangyue tried to provoke her, she just covered her ears and ignored her.
Left with no choice, Luo Shuangyue had to find a breakthrough through Yi.
As the older sister, it was only natural to be concerned about her younger sister’s happiness, right?
‘If I can’t get my sister to take the initiative, then getting her partner to do it works just as well!’
Reaching out to swipe at the air, Luo Shuangyue easily tore open a deep spatial rift.
She was the first to jump into the channel to look around.
After ensuring there was no danger, she reached out to beckon Monice and Yi to come in quickly.
“Come on, come on! Maintaining a spatial channel is quite exhausting.”
After all, they were opening a spatial rift directly to the outside of the world. Even though the spatial fragment was anchored to the world, crossing that distance was still no easy feat.
Even Luo Shuangyue had to exert some effort to return to the fragment that belonged to her.
Emerging from the somewhat crude spatial channel, Luo Shuangyue looked around at the void.
This spatial fragment was actually very large; one could not see the end of it at a single glance.
Ribbons woven from starlight drifted through the sky. This was the reward the spatial fragment had received after being baptized by the Star Sea Wave.
It could no longer be considered an ordinary spatial fragment.
Having experienced the baptism of the Star Sea, it now possessed the potential to slowly absorb nearby wandering energy and gradually evolve into one complete world.
Of course, that depended on its master’s capabilities.
“At that time, I merged all of my power into this spatial fragment. By the time the Star Sea Wave ended, the connection between me and this place had become so tight that we could no longer be distinguished from one another,” Luo Shuangyue said, pointing to the void behind her.
She was probably equivalent to this small fragment’s World Consciousness now.
“I can tell. Your scent permeates everywhere here. So, does this count as us being inside your body?” Monice nodded and asked with a strange expression.
“…Um, theoretically, that is the case.” Luo Shuangyue couldn’t lie; this place truly was the interior of her body.
Her current ability was not yet enough to condense such powerful energy into one small human body, so she could only settle for this form of incarnation.
“Then how do you plan to handle this spatial fragment? Do you want it to become your private property, or do you want it for something else?”
“I haven’t decided yet. I don’t really want to go exploring the depths of the Star Sea, since Mother and Shuangxing might not be able to break through to that level.” Scratching her head, Luo Shuangyue did not hide her current uncertainty.
She already possessed the ability to travel far from home, but there were still so many people she cared about back there.
How could she have the heart to give up everything and leave?
Even if she really had to leave, she wanted to take Xia Mo with her.
“I want to transform this place into a habitable area first. If the day comes when I really have to leave, I can pilot this fragment like a ship.” she proposed a general idea.
“I know about that! It’s just like how the Elves once built a Civilization Mothership!” Yi, who had been floating in mid-air staring dazed at the ribbons of starlight, became interested.
She waved her hands, indicating that the Elves possessed similar technology.
The Universe was to the Elves what the Star Sea was to Luo Shuangyue.
Wasn’t what Luo Shuangyue wanted to do now essentially creating a large ship that could head into the depths of the Star Sea to explore?
“Sister Shuangyue, if you ever go to explore the depths of the Starry Sky, you must call for me!” Yi said excitedly to Luo Shuangyue.
“Don’t worry, I won’t forget you. But before that, we have to bring life to this place.”
Luo Shuangyue naturally wouldn’t refuse Yi’s request to join. If there were only her and Xia Mo on the journey, it would be far too lonely.
