The accident occurred. Red Star General and Verdant Echo were the first to rush out of the hangar, sprinting toward the location where Pure White Storm had crashed. They had to bring their ‘youngest sister’ back to the hangar before the Moon Rabbits found Sista.
Fran asked, “Clara, aren’t you going?”
“Blue Cavalier hasn’t moved; she is still watching me (Moon Rabbit) in the burrow. I think… the two from the Sigma Series shouldn’t encounter any difficult opponents.”
With only some Moon Rabbits and rabbit soldiers, Red Star General and Verdant Echo would surely find a way to handle them.
It wasn’t that Clara didn’t want to go; it was mainly that moving around was inconvenient.
Splitting one’s mind to control two bodies was simply impossible for ordinary people. It was only because Clara was a Squid that she was somewhat talented in this area. At this moment, most of her attention was focused on the Moon Rabbit Combat Body. Her main body felt a bit overwhelmed just lying there and speaking.
Asking her to save someone now would be like letting a drunk drive an ambulance.
“Those two idiots did nothing yesterday, so let them stretch their muscles today. The film crew followed them, right? Anyway, if anything happens, it won’t be too late for me to fly over.”
They couldn’t possibly be so incompetent that they couldn’t even hold out until she arrived, could they?
Although Blue Cavalier (Early) had also been left disheveled by the bombing, she had never left Clara’s (Moon Rabbit) side. It seemed she was waiting for the commotion outside to die down before continuing with the execution.
After all, this public execution was meant to be shown to the Moon Rabbits. However, most of the rabbit soldiers had left the burrow to capture Sista, and the behavior of the ordinary Moon Rabbits was very chaotic.
Killing Clara now wouldn’t interest many Moon Rabbits, failing to achieve the desired effect.
In any case, Clara was suspended and couldn’t escape, so there was no rush.
However…
Even though it was time for the execution, the Moon Rabbit Mother still hadn’t appeared. Blue Cavalier had essentially become her proxy. Was she planning to completely hide her identity until the very end?
She really was too steady.
Clara even felt a bit of admiration.
‘But it doesn’t matter; I’ll find you sooner or later.’
Thinking this, Clara looked back at Blue Cavalier (u).
The latter didn’t notice the gaze from behind. Instead, she had her eyes closed as if she were sleeping while standing. In reality, she was issuing orders to the surrounding Moon Rabbits through the hive mind.
Hopefully, Fran’s little invention could prevent Blue Cavalier from giving orders to the other Moon Rabbits, or at the very least, block the instructions sent by her and the Mother.
Then again, Blue Cavalier was originally an Equipping-type hero. His power came from the Armored Exoskeleton. Without the exoskeleton, he was just a half-baked artificial esper who could emit a weak electric current.
It was barely enough to interfere with radio signals or electrocute mosquitoes in the summer, but it seemed far from being useful in combat.
The current Blue Cavalier (Early) certainly couldn’t wear an exoskeleton, so just how much strength did she have now? Was she merely the Mother’s proxy?
‘If it really comes to a fight, she couldn’t be weaker than even a rabbit soldier, could she?’
The activity above the rabbit hole died down due to Sista’s crash.
“Hmm, encountering a bombing just as the execution was about to begin… such a thing is far too coincidental.”
Blue Cavalier seemed to be muttering something as she turned around and looked up at Clara.
“What exactly… no, what exactly are you?”
She seemed to be doubting Clara’s identity.
She circled around Clara. Had she noticed something?
But no matter how much she doubted, it was impossible to find any evidence because the Moon Rabbit Combat Body was a Moon Rabbit — it could even be manipulated by the higher-level commands of the hive mind.
If there was a flaw, it was perhaps being even weaker than an ordinary Moon Rabbit.
Under such a premise, how could Blue Cavalier see through its identity?
“Regarding your execution, I have an idea.”

Sista crashed into the rainforest.
The exoskeleton was still functional, but she had to detach the wing sections first.
But this meant that as a wearer of lightweight armor, she lost the mobility advantage that relied on flight.
“Return to the hangar first. Red Star General and Verdant Echo are on their way. Please keep moving.”
“Copy.”
The AI named Nyx was still online. She was an artificial intelligence assistant developed by Doctor Fran Livka, yet she was more human than any AI Sista had ever seen before…
***
…She was even more human than Sista herself.
However, the exoskeleton’s monitors triggered an alarm.
Several rabbit soldiers with scorched fur had already managed to sneak up behind Sista.
These guys ran very fast. Despite having the appearance of upright, muscular humanoids, their hunting movements in the rainforest were like those of predatory cheetahs — they dropped down and ran on all fours.
*BEEEEN*
Sista turned and ran, having no intention of engaging them.
Although the exoskeleton lacked wings and had lost its crucial flight capability, it still enhanced her explosive power. Sista’s running speed was not slower than these rabbit soldiers. She already possessed a superpower that reduced weight, so she could burst with extraordinary speed on the ground as well, occasionally using a grappling hook to snag tree trunks ahead and swing forward.
“Ugh…”
However, the remaining energy was like a guillotine blade hanging over her head.
The white shadows chasing behind her were also becoming more numerous.
“Fourth, get down!”
“Big Brother?”
Red Star General’s roar came through the communication channel. Before Sista could clearly see the figure ahead, countless small missiles trailing exhaust flames streaked through the gaps in the rainforest trees. they scattered behind Sista, expanding into a wall of blazing, intense fire.
Incendiary bombs naturally had a miraculous effect when used in a rainforest.
This grand display was even more exaggerated than the aerial bombs Sista had dropped.
Even so, a significant number of rabbit soldiers still attempted to lung at Sista, even as their bodies were engulfed in flames.
“Oh dear, people who cling so persistently aren’t very likable, you know?”
Flickering green shadows, ghostly and uncertain, flashed through the forest.
Rabbit soldiers were being cut down one after another.
“Fourth, good work on the mission.”
Verdant Echo appeared silently beside Sista and patted her on the shoulder.
“Third Brother…”
“We should retreat. These guys are everywhere…”
Before Verdant Echo could finish his sentence, he was abruptly swatted out of the air by a rabbit soldier.
He tumbled and fell at Sista’s feet, and the hologram patting Sista’s shoulder gradually vanished due to the strike.
“Ow, cough, cough… This is embarrassing to do in front of the camera.”
“What’s going on?” Sista asked.
The strength of these rabbit soldiers was approximately equal to a Lower-class Monster.
While they couldn’t be ignored, they were still just trivial small fry. It was hard to imagine that someone with Verdant Echo’s strength could actually be hit by one.
“…Something is wrong with the performance of the Exoskeleton Armor.”
Red Star General walked out from the trees. He also had several Moon Rabbits clinging to him, but his steps were heavy and his movements were quite stiff.
It seemed…
Verdant Echo scrambled up from the ground, plunging a knife into the heart of a rabbit soldier.
“Our gear… it seems someone has tampered with it.”
