That really wasn’t right, was it?
Even in movies, they wouldn’t play it like this… oh wait, those popcorn movies actually seemed to play it exactly like this.
“What are you worried about? Worried it’ll leave a bad impression? It’s fine. Just think of it as the two of us having a private heart-to-heart before the battle.”
On the eve of a great war, one of the two Magical Girls who shared a mutual understanding felt uneasy, and the other went to comfort her companion—wasn’t that a classic trope?
Even if the method of comfort was a little different, at least she was being comforted, right?
Luo Shuangyue didn’t dare to forcibly pull her hand away from Xia Mo’s grip.
Half-protesting, she was dragged back to their Room.
As soon as she entered the room, Xia Mo immediately cast a one-way soundproofing spell so that no sound from inside would leak out.
She then scanned the room for any small monitoring devices.
Finding the space perfectly clean, she deactivated her Transformed State.
After all, her image was fixed while in her Magical Girl form—outfit and all.
She could only do those things with Luo Shuangyue after reverting to her normal self.
Seeing Xia Mo take these steps, Luo Shuangyue knew that this time, Xia Mo meant business.
She swallowed hard, feeling a bit faint at the thought of the pulse-pounding scenes to come.
She felt as though she had dug a hole for herself and then skipped into it with a smile.
Now, Xia Mo had picked up the shovel she left behind and was busily filling the hole back in, spade by spade.
“Come on, let’s take a shower,” Xia Mo said, grabbing Luo Shuangyue’s wrist and firmly leading her toward the bathroom.
Their room was massive.
The Magic Department never skimped on providing top-tier living environments for Magical Girls.
This meant the bathroom was incredibly spacious and luxurious—large enough for two girls to frolic and play.
One could play normal water games, or one could play the not-so-normal kind.
To accommodate the specific needs of certain Magical Girls, there were even small gadgets hidden in various corners of the bathroom that might come in handy.
“I feel like your figure has improved a bit. Is it my imagination?” Xia Mo murmured, her fingers brushing against Luo Shuangyue’s porcelain, flush-pink skin.
She remembered the last time they stood in a bathroom like this; Luo Shuangyue hadn’t looked like this back then.
At that time, she had been much… thinner.
Now, she seemed to have gained a little weight—not much, but it was definitely there.
‘Is it? This body is indeed different from my original one…’ Luo Shuangyue shook her head.
In truth, she hadn’t noticed any change.
Since her identity was now that of a Demon, her body differed from a Human’s and was relatively easy to alter.
However, Luo Shuangyue didn’t like doing that in her daily life and always maintained the body’s original appearance.
As for her actual figure, she really had no sense of it.
Her clothes were formed from Demonic Energy, so fit was never an issue.
From the outside, her color scheme changed far more drastically than her physique; without a situation like this, it would be difficult to notice any growth.
“You definitely put on some weight,” Xia Mo concluded, reaching out to measure Luo Shuangyue’s proportions with her own hands, comparing them to her previous mental data.
This action caused Luo Shuangyue to let out a shy, startled cry. ‘We were talking just fine, why did she suddenly use her hands!’
Subtly retreating a step and crossing her arms over her chest, Luo Shuangyue inadvertently performed a very girlish gesture.
Perhaps it was a lingering instinct within the body; after all, the original owner of this body had been Little Butterfly, a girl born and bred.
“Don’t be shy. Look at our relationship—being shy just makes us feel like strangers!” Xia Mo stepped forward forcefully, pulling Luo Shuangyue under the running showerhead.
The water drenched Luo Shuangyue, causing her dark hair to cling to her snowy skin, a sight that could easily stir impure thoughts.
For Xia Mo, who had no intention of being a saint today, it was an irresistible temptation.
Thus, during the first stage of the day, Xia Mo couldn’t help but hold Luo Shuangyue’s head and carefully taste the flavor she had been dreaming of.
The pitter-patter of the water masked certain dangerous sounds.
This particular exchange lasted for several minutes before finally ending.
“Xia Mo, you’re being too…” Luo Shuangyue’s face was beet-red, her voice as faint as a mosquito’s buzz.
She hadn’t expected Xia Mo to become so aggressive all of a sudden.
Not long ago, she had been a melancholy maiden.
Who would have thought that after a few words of encouragement, Xia Mo would transform from a brooding girl into a starving ghost of passion? Unfortunately for her, Luo Shuangyue was the poor girl the ghost had set its sights on.
“You’re the one who told me not to live with regrets. What, are you going back on your own words now?” Locking both of Luo Shuangyue’s hands with one of her own, Xia Mo pinned her against the bathroom wall and asked with narrowed eyes.
Wasn’t this Luo Shuangyue’s fault? If she hadn’t reminded her, Xia Mo might not have thought of this.
“I think you were right. Very right. Before I die with you, I must become your official lover in both name and reality!” Xia Mo brought her face within inches of Luo Shuangyue’s.
Her warm breath brushed against the other girl’s cheek, making Luo Shuangyue’s blush deepen.
“Also, tomorrow we’re going to get a marriage cert—”
“That’s way too fast!”
“I just think saying ‘let’s get married after the war’ is bad luck, so it’s better to do it sooner.” Xia Mo stared into Luo Shuangyue’s eyes.
The heat in her gaze was difficult to withstand.
Theoretically, they were both old enough to get a marriage certificate. However, there was a serious problem: it seemed two girls couldn’t actually get one.
“We’re both girls. We can’t get a certificate.”
“Oh, I see. Then forget it. I’ll just eat you up first anyway.” Xia Mo didn’t dwell on the logistics.
After forcefully declaring her feelings, she calmed down and began to methodically wash Luo Shuangyue’s body.
Even in those private areas Luo Shuangyue felt sensitive about, Xia Mo didn’t hold back, cleaning every inch by hand.
After finishing, Xia Mo stood where Luo Shuangyue had been, spreading her arms to show she was ready.
“Now it’s your turn to help me wash,” she said.
Still immersed in her shyness, Luo Shuangyue froze, her trembling gaze landing on Xia Mo’s completely bare form.
The beautiful silhouette of the maiden, blooming like a flower, made Luo Shuangyue’s heart race.
Realizing she had to do to Xia Mo what had just been done to her, she felt utterly at a loss.
She really couldn’t get used to this level of intimacy! Even knowing she loved Xia Mo and that Xia Mo loved her—and even knowing they had already crossed many lines—Luo Shuangyue still felt her heart fail her when it came time to actually use her hands.
After all, she hadn’t originally been a girl; she couldn’t exactly remain calm in this situation. ‘I’m being completely played by Xia Mo!’
With that thought, Luo Shuangyue took a stiff step forward and began to wash Xia Mo, mimicking her previous actions.
The first few steps went fine, but her progress soon stalled. She… didn’t quite dare to apply any pressure.
“Don’t be afraid. It’s okay to use a little strength.” Seeing Luo Shuangyue’s hesitation at her chest, Xia Mo giggled.
She took Luo Shuangyue’s hand and placed it on her own moderately sized curves.
Compared to Luo Shuangyue, Xia Mo was much more developed, and the sensation was naturally much softer than Luo Shuangyue’s own slight frame.
This was far too stimulating for Luo Shuangyue. Xia Mo said it was okay to use strength, but how could she actually do that?
She could only rush through cleaning that area under Xia Mo’s smiling gaze before moving on to the next hurdle.
This wasn’t the final gate, but rather the start of a series of challenges.
When she was being handled by Xia Mo, she hadn’t felt it much, but now that she was the one doing it, she realized how many steps there were.
Taking a shower was so much trouble.
‘Also… is it wrong of me to do this?’
Gritting her teeth with a red face, it took Luo Shuangyue nearly twice as long as Xia Mo to finish the task.
Her technique was clumsy and her touch incredibly light; she probably didn’t actually wash away much. But it didn’t really matter.
Xia Mo had just reverted from her Transformed State, meaning her body had essentially been refreshed.
There was no “dirt” to speak of. Having Luo Shuangyue help her was simply a form of appropriate foreplay.
While drying Luo Shuangyue’s hair, Xia Mo looked at the small face in the mirror—red as a ripe apple—and said, “Are you ready? The main event comes next.”
“I think… I’m ready,” Luo Shuangyue replied hesitantly.
She knew what the main event was.
Though she had some knowledge of such things and had tried to look into it before, now that she was facing the real thing with Xia Mo, she still felt apprehensive.
“Hold out your hand.”
“Oh.” Luo Shuangyue obediently held out her hands.
Xia Mo glanced at her fingers and gave a small huff. “Go clip your nails in a moment.”
“Huh?”
“Did you think you were just going to sit back and enjoy the fruits of my labor? I can’t be the only one working today. You have to put in some effort too, understand?”
‘But… I don’t have any experience.’
“Do you think I have any?” Xia Mo countered.
The answer, of course, was no. Neither Xia Mo nor Luo Shuangyue had any experience.
Xia Mo was simply more uninhibited, and she believed that in these matters, emotion was far more moving than experience.
