I pushed open the office door, and a wave of heat hit me in the face.

Although it was already nearing evening, the stifling heat in the air hadn’t subsided,

especially noticeable after coming out of the air-conditioned room.

I glanced back at Chiyin, who was still busy with something on her laptop.

I covered my face, acting both shy and curious to lure him further into my plan.
