A bolt of lightning shot from Xu Chuyao’s hand, leaping over several rows of seats and splitting the podium clean in half.
Shen Qin Nan lay sprawled leisurely, idly twirling a leaf between his fingers.
Xu Chuyao wasn’t sure about the strength of this move and didn’t dare act rashly. She pressed down on the desk in front of her, then with a light hop, moved swiftly to the side.
With a snarl and a bang, the cabinet between the two was instantly blasted away, debris scattering and clattering loudly all over the floor.
The cabinet was blown apart, yet the leaf kept flying until it finally embedded itself in the rear wall, slowly dissipating after that.
Xu Chuyao glanced at the squinting, wolfish Shen Ning, then looked at the man in front who maintained a smiling expression. Her heart felt a little strange.
Goodness, this guy is actually making a game out of this.

But when she returned to the hall, she found that Shen Ning was already gone, leaving only a scattering of leaves on the floor.
She looked at the mess inside the hall—nearly all the interior facilities destroyed. Principal Freiden tried to force a relaxed smile, his mouth twitching several times, but he simply couldn’t manage it.
That was his brand-new ceremonial hall!

Xu Chuyao stood in the back, tiptoeing to look for a long time, but didn’t see that familiar figure.
What’s going on? Why hasn’t Shen Ning come back? Did something happen?
