Xu Chuyao followed her girlfriend’s gaze downward and saw two snowy white mounds.
“You—”
“Just one bite.” Shen Ning silently made a hand gesture, “Just one bite.”
Is this really a matter of one bite or two? The point is—
“You’re being so difficult, Shen Ning.”
“I just have…”
“So, you’re just childish. Almost nineteen and you’re still not weaned.” Xu Chuyao crossed her arms.
“Underneath, you’re still a kid at heart. You pick one yourself.”
Most people cross their arms to cover their chest, but Chuyao’s—well, hers couldn’t be covered at all.
She didn’t even try, just let her arms hang below, only supporting them a little.

Xu Chuyao checked once more—her Counter Villain Value was still at three hundred, the same as after the last round of swapping. After all this fuss today, not a single point had budged.
That won’t do. Can’t let her have it for free.
Shen Ning’s flat gaze swept over: “You really can’t?”

Elemental Fusion was out, so was Ultrasound Skill. That left only Elemental Storm.

“What’s there to worry about? No one’s locked up on our floor, it wasn’t us who let them escape. Those five-star students aren’t even worried, so why should I, a mere three-star? Besides, times are different now—we’re not the same as before.” Xu Chuyao glanced at her own balance. “If I get into trouble again, the one who should worry is Professor Swina.”
Even though there was only 900 left, she was close to a ten-pull. If she drew another gold, great. If not, no big deal—Chuyao had found a way to farm Counter Villain Value. Next time, just buy an electric support device in advance, keep a good sense of distance, and even if she trades everything away, it won’t be a huge loss.
