Beside the main road of Northern Town, a Gothic-style oak cottage stood out prominently. This was the clothing store that the maid had recommended yesterday, and it was the highest-rated shop in town.
The two witch sisters had recently earned a fortune by selling mana crystals, so it was only natural for them to choose the best clothing store in the area.
The moment they pushed the door open, a fresh fragrance washed over them—a blend of lavender and jasmine. In the corner of the room, a fireplace crackled with burning logs, serving both to dispel the early winter chill and to maintain the fine texture of the fabrics within the shop.
The interior was more spacious than it appeared from the outside. The women’s clothing leaned toward the Rococo style, while the men’s attire followed a more Baroque trend.
Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, casting soft light over the merchandise on the shelves. It felt like some sort of magical lighting, perfectly designed to highlight the exquisite details of the garments.
The clothes on the shelves were categorized by quality, distinguished by different colored hooks.
“Young ladies, the red hooks over here indicate medium-priced attire, while the pink hooks are for high-end garments,” a middle-aged man wearing a monocle introduced politely.
“Hello, sir. We were recommended by Miss Mary from the restaurant across the street. It’s a pleasure to meet you,” Sophia replied politely, beating Eiris to the punch.
“Please help me customize an outfit for my younger sister first. It would be best to use a generous amount of ribbons and bows for decoration.”
The white-haired girl beside her immediately lowered her head in embarrassment, whispering, “Idiot…”
‘Wow! Am I really going to spend a fortune to customize this fluffy, Rococo-style girl’s outfit? It’s… so shameful.’
“Sophia… how about we forget it? I’ll just pick something ordinary,” Eiris said, feeling the urge to retreat.
“Sir, it’s better if you listen to me. As her older sister, I am essentially her guardian. My sister is a natural beauty, after all.” Who knew Sophia would suddenly say something like that? She tried to remain serious, but the corners of her mouth kept twitching upward.
‘Damn it! Every day, I’m being toyed with by those stinking green eyes…’
The gentlemanly shopkeeper skillfully used a measuring tape to record Eiris’s dimensions. Under the owner’s instructions, the sisters went out to have lunch first. In just 3 or 4 hours, the shopkeeper had finished the custom-made clothing.
Should they expect any less from a place recommended by Miss Mary? After all, this shopkeeper was just like them—someone who had been pushed out of business elsewhere by the Campbell family’s malicious competition and ended up here…
With Sophia’s diligent help, Eiris finished changing into her new clothes. She had no idea that Sophia was standing behind her, panting and giggling foolishly.
The inside of the witch hat on her head was lined with many cute purple ruffles, topped with a large blue butterfly decoration featuring a snowflake pattern.
She wore a black-and-white Lolita-style dress, paired with a black vest featuring gold buttons. The white lace puffed sleeves on her arms were the epitome of aesthetic beauty.
The skirt featured a large amount of lace trim lining and blue embroidered flower decorations that added a playful touch, complemented by tight white tights on her lower half. All this beauty converged with detailed elements like ribbons, butterflies, and stars, fully bringing out the girl’s cute temperament.
Standing before the mirror, Eiris was deeply captivated by her own appearance, staring blankly at her reflection.
‘This old man is adorable!’
‘Perhaps this really isn’t so bad?’
‘Yes! A man should be this vigorous!’
Sophia clicked her tongue in admiration from behind, and even the shopkeeper couldn’t help but clap. “It truly suits you, miss. My eyes did not deceive me. It seems your sister is very satisfied as well.”
“If you two had slightly fairer skin, I would consider hiring you as part-time models.”
‘Sorry, shopkeeper. It’s not that they aren’t fair-skinned; it’s that they don’t dare to reveal it…’
“For Miss Mary’s sake, this custom set is 50 gold coins. The pink dress for the older sister is 10 gold coins. That makes a total of 60 gold coins, my beautiful young ladies.”
50 gold coins… Eiris weighed the value of the clothes. Anyone who knew the trade could see at a glance that the materials and accessories were top-tier. Sophia paid the amount without hesitation.
“Thank you, elegant and noble ladies. Please come again.”
“Sure thing, handsome gentleman!”
Since they still had time, Sophia visited an armor shop and purchased a new set of leather armor that suited her. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be made of high-grade crocodile skin.
“Crocodile skin… that brings back some unpleasant memories, doesn’t it, Eiris?” Sophia gave an awkward smile. Eiris then tried to lighten the mood.
“There was nothing we could do about those things. Fortunately, we found Sister Ann. We have to look forward, Sophia.”
“It’s time to head back, Sophia. I’m a little worried about Sister Ann’s condition.”

The two had not walked long on the main road of Northern Town when Sophia’s attention was drawn to the witch bounty posters by the roadside.
“Eiris, come here! Quick, look at this!”
The two looked at the bulletin board. Two witch bounty posters were stuck right in the center, particularly eye-catching. Looking closely, the descriptions on the posters seemed to match them perfectly.
[Bounty: Eiris Omnia, 600 Gold Coins, Demon Race Sinner who murdered the former Grand Knight Commander, Marcus]
[Bounty: Sophia Omnia, 400 Gold Coins, Sister of Eiris; charges include harboring a criminal, complicity, etc.]
‘There’s no doubt about it. If there are bounties for us even in this remote town, I bet they’re posted in all the big cities…’
‘I’ve thought about it for a long time. In my memory, I didn’t kill Marcus. I strongly suspect these are trumped-up charges. But looking at how valuable I am is actually kind of cool? That straw-hat boy was also obsessed with constantly increasing his own bounty!’
Forget it, stop daydreaming. We should leave as soon as we finish our business.
The witch sisters wanted to take a shortcut toward the south gate of Northern Town, so they chose to go through the back alleys to leave as soon as possible.
They were still wearing their old, tattered clothes, having packed away their beautiful new outfits. Those clothes were too flashy, and they didn’t want to attract attention or invite unnecessary trouble.
But just as they were about to pass through the alley, a girl about the same height as Eiris appeared and blocked their path.
The girl channeled her magic, and an ice wall rose behind the sisters, completely sealing off their retreat.
“Wahahaha! Have you been trapped by the Great Nino? We are fellow witches whose fates were destined to intertwine at this moment!”
“Your weakness is beneath contempt! Before me, no matter who the person is, they will be utterly crushed!”
“What is this? Stop acting mysterious and take off that mask before you speak!” Eiris said, getting a bit impatient. What was this person rambling about?
“Foolish mortal! Even among witches, there are levels! You lack the strength to challenge me. To ask me to remove my mask is wishful thinking!”
The chuunibyou girl before them was brimming with confidence and actually began to reveal her own identity.
“Fine, I shall tell you the true name of the Great Nino!”
“I am the daughter of Rachel Realte, the First Priest serving under Grand High Priest Felicitara—the Ice Witch, Nino Realte!”
“Hand over your bounties obediently! You two witches! No, wait, the wanted criminals Eiris and Sophia! Otherwise, prepare to receive the ruthless strike of the Great Nino’s strongest GREATEST FROST CYCLONE THUNDER: TWENTY-THIRD FORM MODIFIED! Wahahahaha!”
Eiris felt her fists tightening.
