Su Yao couldn’t help but feel a bit puzzled. Her situation was different from Oyster Sauce’s, and many things might not be universally applicable, so she needed to consider everything carefully.
After returning home, she sat straight down on the sofa, unlocked her phone, and opened her chat app. Scrolling up and down through her contacts, Su Yao never entered Oyster Sauceโs chat. She was wondering how she should start the conversation.
If she asked directly, it would seem too purposeful.
She glanced at the time. It was only a little past three. Since the school was close to home, Su Yao had come back quite early. She lay down on the sofa, kicked off her fluffy slippers, and hooked her feet over the sofa’s armrest, crossing her legs.
Her phone rested on her chest. She had gotten used to the weight of TuTu, and also that feeling of her chest being pressed down. Both hands still needed to hold it in place. This posture wasnโt comfortable, so she retracted her legs and braced them against the armrest, slowly pushing herself over to the other end. With her head resting on the opposite armrest, the slope of her chest was just right to cradle the phone.
Bored, Su Yao started swiping through short videos. In a daze, she remembered there was still something she hadnโt done. With a whoosh, she sat up, forgetting to grab the phone on her chest, which promptly fell onto the sofa and rolled onto the floor.
“โฆโฆ”
She sucked in a breath, quickly picking it up.
Thankfully, the screen wasnโt shattered. Su Yao gently patted her chest, letting out a long sigh of relief.
Then, in her chat with Oyster Sauce, she sent the classic two characters and a question mark: โAre you there?โ
Looking at the chat record, the last conversation had been quite a while ago. She had no idea how Oyster Sauce was doing nowโshe hoped everything was well.
Su Yao stared intently at the phone screen, afraid to miss the instant a reply arrived.
But Oyster Sauce seemed to be taking a long time to respond. Who knew what she was up to? It was broad daylight, so it was unlikely she was up to anything bad. She was probably stillโ
Inside the classroom at school, Mu Nanqiu was looking at the book on her desk. Actually, at her stage, she could have started working hard last semester. The major she had picked was just some random one that looked pleasing to her eye. Studying the liberal arts, especially pure literature, made it hard to find a job after graduation. So during school, one needed to get quite a few certifications. Mu Nanqiu had no such worries; it was her natural advantage. She could do whatever she wanted without any pressure, without caring much about the consequences.
Fortunately, Mrs. Muโs education only led Mu Nanqiu to develop a rebellious streak against her mother personally. Compared to the other heiresses, Mu Nanqiu was already quite low-key, but there were always people who liked to use her for publicity.
Being famous had its advantages. Some wanted to enter certain circles, some simply for vanity.
What did she want?
Mu Nanqiu closed her book and let out a gentle sigh. It wasnโt that she didnโt want to make a move last nightโher dear YaoYao was just too temptingโbut at least on the first day she needed to act decent for a while. If she did something bad as soon as she walked in the door, wouldnโt things get even wilder in the future?
Sheโd probably keep playing the good guy for a while longer before baring her fangs.
No, why not just tonight?
While Mu Nanqiu was turning this over in her mind, a girl sat down beside her.
โAqiu, what are you thinking about?โ
“โฆ..”
The girl smiled with pursed lips and whispered, โAqiu, are you thinking about your Mantou-sensei?โ
Mu Nanqiu ignored her and looked at her phone. Only then did she notice that her alt account had received a message. The girl sneakily peeked at the screen and was astonished. Was it really Mantou-sensei?
She didnโt actually know Mantou-sensei; sheโd only heard the rumors.
She had thought it was just gossip, but now it seemed to be true.
โArenโt you going to reply?โ
โYan, canโt you just shut up?โ
Mu Nanqiu shot a glare at this girl in front of her. Mantou-sensei had just sent a simple โAre you there?โ, not even saying what she wanted. Mu Nanqiu was a bit curious as to why Su was suddenly contacting her alt account. Having just moved into her house, so much had happenedโit was natural to want to talk to someone about it. Chatting with a net friend like Oyster Sauce wouldnโt involve real-life entanglements, so she could speak freely.
She had originally thought Su Yao wanted to show off to Oyster Sauce, but Mu Nanqiu had clearly misjudged her.
Mantou-sensei: “Oyster Sauce, how did you manage to get to home base?”
Mantou-sensei: “Ahem, Iโm just curiousโฆโฆโฆโฆ”
Mantou-sensei: “Donโt read too much into it!”
A clumsy cover-up. Mu Nanqiu almost wanted to laugh. She never thought Su Yao would be this impatient.
Mu Nanqiu smiled gently, then looked up at the Yan Young Lady in front of her and scolded, “Go away.”
Yan Young Ladyโs eyes flashed with confusion. Could falling in love really change a person this much?
She left, carrying her doubts, but still secretly watched her best friend’s expressionโthe calm mixed with excitement looked every bit like someone about to do something naughty. Yan Young Lady suddenly felt a little envious.
โTsk, should I find someone to try it with too?โ
She actually had quite a bit of romantic experienceโover a dozen relationships, changing every few monthsโbut her orientation was normal, which was a bit different from Mu Nanqiu.
Mu Nanqiu, as Oyster Sauce, replied to Su Yao.
โItโs simple, just go for itโstack Converging Blades with Deadly Tempo.โ
โHuh?โ
Su Yao stared at the words on the screen, bewildered. Was Oyster Sauce replying to the wrong person? But thinking carefully, that line seemed to make some sense.
โOyster Sauce, can you be a bit more specific?โ
โStart by touching.โ
โTouch what?โ
โAnywhere is fine, then start rubbing. I especially love it when a cute Little Sister snuggles up in my arms acting spoiled. Thatโs just the best~โ
She pictured herself lying in Mu Nanqiuโs embrace, gazing up with affectionate eyes while acting coquettish. The fantasy was almost too much to handle.
Su Yao was startled by her own imagination, swallowing hard.
Her feet suddenly felt a bit cold. She shrank back, curled up in the corner of the sofa, and squinted at the words on her phone screen.
โIs Mantou-sensei about to do something big? Be sure to tell me how it goes! I love hearing about this stuff.โ
Damn it, get lost you pervert!
No way sheโd talk about that. Fuming, Su Yao called Oyster Sauce a pervert a few more times, then went online to look up some related knowledge.
Afterward, she glanced at her own hand.
Her nails hadnโt been trimmed for a while and were a bit too long. She quickly found the nail clippers and gave herself a trim.
Oyster Sauce had told her that when the time comes, it will come. Even if separated by a thousand miles, one can take a three-hour high-speed rail ride to her home. So Mantou-sensei must always be fully prepared.
