“Ye Fufu, are you in this room?”
“Strange, I clearly heard a sound in the room just now. Why is no one here?”
The first floor of Saint Freya Cathedral, where the followers had already departed, was exceptionally quiet—so silent that one could hear a pin drop.
However, on the second floor, where outsiders usually didn’t venture, the sound of a door opening suddenly rang out.
As the door was pushed open, two male voices followed, speaking to themselves in confusion. Judging by their tone, they seemed remarkably familiar with this place.
Inside the wardrobe where Ye Fufu had pulled him, Su Qi looked out through the faint line of sight provided by the ventilation slats.
Since Su Lulu’s hospital room wasn’t very large, he quickly spotted the intruder.
The interloper wasn’t An Xiaoling, whom Su Qi had expected, nor was it his good brother, Mo Yu. However, Su Qi did recognize him.
This was the legendary Great Hero who had been lying in the room next to Su Lulu, unconscious until recently after being attacked by a Giant Dragon during the exploration of the Fourth Layer.
Watching the Great Hero—someone who usually only appeared on television—step into the room bit by bit, Su Qi’s emotions were incredibly complex as he desperately suppressed his presence.
Last time in the confession room, his good brother had burst in, and this time, the Great Hero had appeared just as coincidentally.
‘If this were one of those cute adult games, I’d start to wonder if I’ve become some kind of weird female protagonist,’ Su Qi thought. ‘Is a lucky lecher buff appearing every time I do something strange?’
While Su Qi was lost in his complicated thoughts, the Hero, likely seeing no one else in or out of the church and noticing the little turtle on Su Lulu’s face was too obvious, walked straight to the bedside. Not knowing the truth and having just woken up, he sat down and asked softly.
“Pfft—Miss Turtle on the bed, who did you offend to get drawn on like this? Still, you can sleep through this? You’ve got some nerves. Hey, wake up, Miss Turtle. Wake up.”
Seeing the Hero sit directly on the stool by the bed because he didn’t understand Su Lulu’s condition, Su Qi realized the man intended to ask his sister for information and clearly didn’t plan on leaving anytime soon.
Hidden in the wardrobe with Saintess Ye Fufu, Su Qi immediately felt everything was going south.
Because the wardrobe was very cramped, even though both Su Qi and Ye Fufu were girls with slender figures, physical contact was inevitable.
Facing the shapely Ye Fufu, with the faint fragrance of Holy Power lingering at the tip of his nose and feeling the wonderful touch unique to skin-to-skin contact between girls, Su Qi found himself in a bind.
While he enjoyed—no, super enjoyed—being pressed up against a Saintess big sister like Ye Fufu, he couldn’t help but feel worried.
Due to the terrain, he and Ye Fufu were currently too intimate.
As a former boy, although Su Qi claimed not to be a lecher, it would be a lie to say he wasn’t at least a little moved when facing a beautiful girl with a perfect body and a Saintess aura like Ye Fufu.
‘If this intimacy continues… no, if we keep embracing like this…’ Su Qi worried.
‘Could the Great Hero’s interference cause my relationship with Ye Fufu to undergo some strange change from a threatening master-servant dynamic?’
As Su Qi agonized over his thoughts, Ye Fufu, perhaps having entered too hastily earlier and feeling uncomfortable, shifted her body slightly.
With her subconscious movement, Su Qi’s entire body froze.
Because of her shift, Su Qi could clearly feel that he and Ye Fufu had, in a sense, achieved a world-class clash of waves.
He felt his heart beating violently, causing a series of tremors, while the side of Ye Fufu—which was larger than his own—also trembled.
That special sensation of excitement and softness caused Su Qi’s already burning sanity to drop a few more points.
Considering that a major incident would surely occur if this continued, Su Qi stretched his swan-like, snowy neck and slowly leaned toward Ye Fufu’s ear, whispering in an incredibly low voice.
“Sister Fufu, you can’t do this. Don’t press so close—”
But before Su Qi could finish his sentence, his eyes reflected Ye Fufu’s stunningly beautiful face rapidly enlarging. The complaint stopped abruptly.
Although Su Qi understood that Ye Fufu might be worried his movements would expose them, normally, would someone use this method to stop someone from making a sound?
Su Qi shook his small head in surprise, trying to calm down and send a signal to Ye Fufu to let go.
But in the next second, instead of letting go, Ye Fufu’s actions seemed to silently tell him a truth: her behavior just now wasn’t an accident, but intentional.
‘Ye Fufu… did she do that on purpose?’
Realizing this, Su Qi’s small heart began to pound wildly. Passive versus active—though only one word apart, it indicated many things.
‘Does her current behavior mean she wants our morbid master-servant relationship to deteriorate? Or did the incident in the confession room awaken a new fetish in her? Or maybe…’
Perhaps the current situation was too unexpected.
Su Qi forgot to move, his head virtually emitting white smoke from overthinking, making him look rather dim-witted.
While Su Qi stood there dazed, Ye Fufu was unexpectedly excited. Just a moment ago, she had made a startling discovery.
Perhaps it was because Su Qi was wearing the [Little Devil Set], which had a Dark Attribute that clashed with her Holy Attribute.
As time passed while locked in the wardrobe, Ye Fufu could clearly feel an impulse rising from the depths of her heart. It was a primal urge inherent to the Holy Attribute—the desire to purify evil.
Unlike before, when using her Holy supernatural power to purify the Curse around Su Lulu felt like a one-sided, exhausting expenditure, purifying Su Qi felt incredibly miraculous.
With every contact, their Holy and Dark auras clashed. Ye Fufu could clearly feel the evil power around Su Qi being purified into Holy Power.
Purification alone wouldn’t have been much, but this power directly boosted Ye Fufu herself.
The feeling of physical fullness and spiritual achievement brought by the purification, combined with Su Qi’s own sweetness, made for a soul-stirring experience.
As a Saintess, Ye Fufu unconsciously surrendered to it. Her sanity gradually spiraled out of control along with these special emotions.
“Eh? What’s wrong with this room? Why does it feel like something is burning? It’s getting hot.”
At that moment, the Hero sitting on the stool by the bed seemed to notice something unusual about the wardrobe.
After calling out to Su Lulu several times with no response, he simply stood up and began walking toward the wardrobe where Su Qi and Ye Fufu were hiding.
Although the Hero had just recovered and many of his abilities couldn’t be activated due to insufficient spiritual power, as a high-level Adventurer, he still possessed plenty of alertness.
Tap… tap… tap…
Unknowingly embracing Ye Fufu, Su Qi listened to the footsteps outside. Seeing the Hero rise from the stool as if he were about to leave, he let out a sigh of relief.
If the Hero didn’t leave soon, he would probably be ‘eaten’ by this Saintess big sister who had succumbed to her instincts.
‘Wait, eaten?’
As this thought crossed his mind, Su Qi realized with a mix of tears and despair that, in a sense, he had already been eaten. ‘Ugh… how am I supposed to face Ye Fufu in the future?’
Just as the powerless Su Qi was feeling an immense headache from the sudden turn of events, he was shocked to find that the Hero’s heavy footsteps were actually getting closer.
He subconsciously looked through the ventilation slat, and his expression turned to one of pure stagnation.
He realized the Hero wasn’t heading for the door.
He was walking straight toward the wardrobe where Su Qi and Ye Meimei were hidden. Seeing the Hero approach, Su Qi felt his rapidly pounding heart was about to explode.
‘What should I do? If the Great Hero opens the wardrobe and sees me with Ye Fufu, how will we explain this? There’s no way to explain it, no matter how I think about it! And this is way too embarrassing!’
Tap, tap, tap.
Time didn’t stop while Su Qi agonized. In the blink of an eye, the Hero reached the wardrobe.
Seeing him reach out to open the door, Su Qi’s vision went dark, and he even forgot to breathe.
‘It’s over. This is true social death.’
Click.
Just as the Hero’s hand touched the handle in the nick of time, a voice like heavenly music suddenly rang out in the room.
“Where… where is this? Water… is there any water?”
Hearing the voice from the bed behind him, the Hero stopped.
Having already touched the wardrobe door, he seemed to reconsider.
Since this was Su Lulu’s room, pulling open a girl’s wardrobe in front of her would be quite ungentlemanly.
Although he still felt something was inside, the Hero, possessing the character of a true gentleman, withdrew his hand.
He turned back, poured a glass of water from the dispenser for Su Lulu, and greeted her. “Miss Turtle, you’re awake?”
Watching his sister wake up at the last second and lead the Hero away, Su Qi, still enveloped by Ye Fufu in the wardrobe, went completely limp.
‘Sister, your timing is absolutely perfect.’
