The four of them walked forward along the passage.
After entering a round iron door painted with a large skull, Mia didn’t leave directly.
Instead, she turned to face Roel and extended her fair wrist, saying, “Give it here.”
“Huh?”
“Ah?”
Roel initially felt delighted when Mia looked at him, but he was taken aback when she spoke.
Give what?
Mia directly snatched Roel’s walkie-talkie, stuffed it into the lock of the round iron door, and then turned to leave.
Roel was still confused about what had happened.
He wanted to chase after her and ask, but he hesitated, like a shy young boy, and eventually turned to Kasha.
“Um…………………Why? Won’t I be left without a walkie-talkie now?”
Mia, who was ahead, turned her head and replied on behalf of Kasha, “You wouldn’t know how to use it anyway.”
Instantly, Roel’s face turned even redder than before.
While he had been shy earlier, now he felt embarrassed.
Kasha had actually noticed this before.
When Roel held the walkie-talkie, he held it upside down, clearly not recognizing the device.
He only carried it because everyone else did.
However, Kasha didn’t expect Mia to be so perceptive.
Since the beginning, Mia was the first to take the walkie-talkie and the first to push open the door of the mechanical room and walk into the passage.
She hadn’t looked back at all, so Kasha was sure that Mia had observed Roel’s clumsy behavior when she chose to wait on the sofa before the time reversal.
Her observational skills amazed Kasha.
He had previously thought that Mia was a haughty noble lady who wouldn’t pay attention to such things.
Just then, Roel suddenly turned his head and saw that the round iron door had automatically closed!
Roel was about to turn back when he saw that the iron door was blocked by his walkie-talkie and hadn’t closed properly.
With just a slight push, it could be opened again.
“Wow, you really are a prophet!”
Roel’s attitude changed instantly from embarrassment to admiration.
The look in his eyes towards Mia had shifted from a faint longing to worship.
Mia seemed to relish the praise.
She was about to reach up and brush her golden hair but stopped mid-air because her long hair was already tied into a ponytail.
Her arm, raised halfway, shrank back and rested on her cheek, as if that was the action she had intended all along.
However, Kasha could see her ears turning slightly red.
Standing behind, Kasha watched as the elegant and confident Mia made such an awkward move and then clumsily tried to cover it up.
He couldn’t help but let out a soft chuckle.
Her already slightly red ears instantly turned bright red.
Then Kasha paid the price for his laughter.
“You, as a guy, should walk in front. Isn’t it shameful to let a girl face unknown dangers ahead?”
Before Kasha could say it wasn’t shameful, Roel grabbed his arm and dragged him to the front.
Kasha was thin and small, while Roel was taller and stronger.
Kasha found that Roel was surprisingly strong, and he couldn’t resist being dragged along……………Walking in front, Kasha thought of the blood-filled maw in his memory, the invisible creatures crawling on the walls, and felt a pang in his stomach.
This situation was the most likely to encounter danger around the corner!
Just as he thought this, Roel followed him to a corner.
As soon as Roel took a step, he quickly shrank back, his eyes full of terror: “Th-th-th-there’s something over there!”
Kasha stealthily peeked out and saw a guard in a uniform sitting on the ground in a panic, with an unknown monster quietly approaching him.
At this moment, the wolf girl, Lolo, also came over.
She was half a head taller than Kasha.
With a quick movement, she pinned Kasha under her.
Feeling the soft touch on his back, Kasha’s face turned red, and he felt a bit embarrassed.
The wolf girl just glanced and then shrank back.
“We need to deal with that monster, or that person will die. Have you guys ever seen that kind of monster?”
The wolf girl didn’t act rashly because she had never seen such a disgusting creature with its skin peeled off, limbs elongated twice as long, and a mouth split open to cover half of its head.
She was afraid that if she attacked, the monster might have some counterattack.
“No problem. This kind of creature is just twice as strong as a human, and its blood is highly corrosive. With your strength, you can kill it with one punch,” Mia said, crossing her arms.
She glanced at the monster as if to confirm her words.
In fact, Kasha knew that Mia had seen this kind of monster before.
Her act of observing the monster was for their benefit.
Otherwise, it would be strange if Mia knew what the monster was without seeing it.
Although it was difficult to guess that she had the ability to reverse time, there was always a possibility, right?
So, Mia was clearly trying to cover up her ability with some small details.
However, she didn’t expect that among these three seemingly simple-minded people, there would be Kasha and someone whose memory was not affected by her ability.
After hearing Mia’s words, the wolf girl didn’t ask any more questions.
She looked around, preparing to find a tool.
After all, if the monster’s blood was as corrosive as Mia said, she was afraid that her claws would be dissolved if she attacked directly.
Just as the wolf girl looked at a steel pipe inside the passage, preparing to dismantle it as a javelin, Mia’s walkie-talkie crackled to life.
“Is anyone there? Is anyone still alive? Ron? Ott? Can you hear me? Please, someone, answer me! Really, just one person! Please, I beg of you, don’t pretend you can’t hear me!”
Mia froze for a moment, then a cold smile spread across her face.
Before the wolf girl could remove the steel pipe, Mia strode around the corner.
Her footsteps echoed sharply in the silent passage.
The young man in the military uniform, lying on the ground, looked up and saw the beautiful and elegant blonde girl who seemed like a goddess.
“Are you an angel……”Ignoring him, Mia raised her hand.
Somehow, a handgun had appeared in her hand.
“Bang!”
The young man in the military uniform heard the “thud!” sound behind him.
Startled by Mia’s gun-raising action, thinking she was about to kill him, the young man quickly turned his head and saw a monster lying on the ground.
There was a blood hole in the center of the monster’s forehead, and the foul liquid flowing out of the hole immediately hissed and sizzled upon hitting the ground, quickly corroding a hole in the floor!
The young man in the military uniform then realized that he had been saved by the girl!
“Th-thank you……”After a dazed expression of gratitude, the young man in the military uniform turned his head back and was met with the cold barrel of a gun pressed against his forehead.
“I ask, you answer,” Mia’s indifferent gaze shattered the young man’s fleeting angelic dream.
