Kingdom Court.
The King, the Princess, the Prince, and the Ministers.
The Power Holders were judging a Hero of the Human Race.
He was the Strongest Brave, who had led a five-person party into the Demon Domain, assassinated the Demon King, and rescued the Princess.
He was the Guardian Knight who protected the Kingdom’s Border from all Enemies Beyond Humanity.
With him standing watch at the Border, not a single demon had invaded Human Territory in twenty years.
Yet today, he was on trial for one reason: During an assault on the Neighboring Kingdoms, he retreated and failed to carry out the Kingdom’s orders.
However, before the Kingdom or the presiding judge could say a word—
“I’ve had enough of this pointless red tape.”
“I’ve had enough of your hypocrisy.”
“You cowards who hide in the safety of the Royal Capital and send commoner soldiers to die at the front—what right do you have to judge me?”
The Nameless Brave on trial spat out these wild words, glaring at the rulers of the Kingdom and unleashing his fury right in their faces.
“Ludwig, don’t go too far!”
“You’re just a Country Knight!”
“Don’t think you’re that important!”
The Kingdom Court was in an uproar, with all the Ministers rising to their feet, pointing at him and loudly rebuking and insulting him.
“Order of the Imperial Guards, arrest the criminal!”
Not a single person felt any regret for their actions.
Instead, they became even more aggressive, immediately ordering the Order of the Imperial Guards to arrest the Hero.
“I’ve guarded the Border for twenty years, only to realize the true enemy hindering Continental Peace is right here.”
The Hero stood motionless, making no attempt to resist.
“Rumble! Rumble!”
But in the next instant, the walls of the Kingdom Court suddenly split open.
The ceiling turned to ash in a flash.
The lavishly decorated court chapel was flattened in an instant.
Yet none of the Power Holders or Imperial Guards were harmed, for the floor remained.
A pale Dragon descended from the sky.
The wind pressure from its flapping wings alone was enough to knock every single member of the Order of the Imperial Guards to the ground—a force that could crush all.
“It’s the White Dragon Xis!! Aaaah!”
“How can a Dragon appear in the Royal Capital? Why couldn’t we detect it?”
“It’s him! He must have brought the Dragon! To escape punishment!”
As the Evil Dragon descended, the nobles of the Royal Capital fell into utter chaos, rolling on the ground in panic and disgrace, making a complete spectacle of themselves.
But the white Evil Dragon did not attack.
Instead, it landed gracefully before the Hero, lowering its proud head.
“It really is you!”
“Traitor!”
“Human Traitor!”
This scene only confirmed the Ministers’ suspicions, and their shrill accusations grew even louder.
“Thank you, my Partner.”
The Hero ignored them and mounted the head of the White Dragon King.
At this sight, even the noisiest Ministers were cowed into silence.
Everyone was stunned.
Impossible! How could a human ride atop a Dragon’s head? And not just any Dragon, but the Legendary Evil Dragon?
“Remember this: if War ever breaks out again within the Human Race, we will descend upon you.”
With that threat, the White Dragon King soared into the sky, carrying the Nameless Brave away from the dark and corrupt Royal Capital.
“You ask why I hate them but won’t let you just kill them all?”
“I… I… I’m still a Hero…”
High in the sky, as the White Dragon King flew, the Nameless Brave muttered to himself.
Was he really communicating with the Dragon, or just talking to himself?
Either way, his earlier boldness was gone, and his tone was full of helplessness.
But from that day forward, just as he had warned, the Continent changed.
Whenever the Kingdom or the Neighboring Kingdoms stood on the brink of large-scale conflict, the Nameless Brave and the White Dragon King would appear to stop the War.
If the soldiers ignored the warning and forced an invasion, they would face the combined assault of the Nameless Brave and the White Dragon King, driven back to their own borders.
Sometimes, they would even attack both sides, knocking down all the warriors until the War naturally ceased.
One man and one Dragon, wielding absolute and unrivaled power over all Human armies, brought thirty years of Peace to the common people of the Continent.
Yet among the Human Race, countless infamous titles spread about them.
[The Nameless Traitor Hero]
[Strongest Sword Saint of the Evil Dragon]
[Rebellious Dragon Knight]
[Top Ten Evil Dragons]
[Tyrant of the Sky]
[White Nightmare]
[White Dragon King]
But…
These flashy titles will soon be saying goodbye to you all!
One day, the white-haired and aged Nameless Brave sat atop the White Dragon King’s head, soaring through the sky and surveying the land.
“Thirty years must have been just a blink of an eye for you, right?”
The Old Nameless Brave often lamented how quickly time passed.
He himself had become an old man losing hair every day, yet his Partner hadn’t even lost a single Dragon scale.
“Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang!”
Suddenly, high above, a surge of powerful magic began to gather.
A massive Magic Array appeared out of thin air above their heads.
“Surpreme Sage! It’s you!”
The Old Nameless Brave cried out in shock.
He instantly recognized the source of this magic.
If there was anyone in this world who could ambush him, it could only be him.
Back when he was young, the first Legendary Hero Party he formed had a Chosen One with both mage and priest talents, now known as the all-knowing, all-powerful Surpreme Sage.
Once his best friend, they became enemies due to a clash of ideals.
The Surpreme Sage was a benefactor to the Human Race, more influential than the King himself, and master of the Tower of Magic—standing at the pinnacle of humanity.
He himself had become the Evil Dragon Knight, traitor to humanity, and the Surpreme Enemy of the Kingdom.
“White Dragon, dodge!” the Old Nameless Brave shouted.
But it was too late.
The enormous Magic Array unleashed waves of Judgment Lightning, enveloping both the Nameless Brave and the White Dragon King.
Even though the strikes didn’t land directly, the mighty White Dragon King froze in midair as if its strings had been cut, its wings unmoving, and plummeted from the sky.
The Nameless Brave was also knocked unconscious by the violent crash.
“Xis… I’ve dragged you into this…”
Before losing consciousness, his thoughts were still with the Partner who’d been by his side for thirty years.
He was just a short-lived species.
No matter how strong a human is, they will grow old.
He had long accepted his fate—that one day, he would die at the hands of his own kind.
But his old friend was different.
Their lives were nearly limitless, though they could not reproduce normally.
Evil Dragon was just a label given by ignorant humans. Their true name was Ancient Dragon.
They were incomprehensible, transcendent beings, capable of asexual reproduction.
But only when an Ancient Dragon perished on the Continent, did the others have a slim chance of becoming pregnant and giving birth to a new member of their race.
Coincidentally, the White Dragon King had recently become pregnant while flying.
“I can’t!”
“I won’t accept this!”
“I can’t let my old friend and her child be defiled by filthy people!”
Fueled by rage, the Nameless Brave awoke with a start, gritting his teeth and scanning the area for enemies.
He found himself in a deep forest, with no sign of any enemies for now.
White Dragon? Where was it?
But there was no sign of the White Dragon nearby.
Where could that enormous body possibly be hidden? Had it already been captured by humans?
“Haba Haba?”
Lost in wild thoughts, an Evil Aura Girl, completely naked, crawled out of the bushes, uttering a meaningless cry.
Her sun-kissed, wheat-colored healthy skin, long silver hair, golden dragon eyes, long pointed ears, thick brows, peerless beauty, blank expression, 1.8 meters tall, toned muscles, curvy figure—a perfect body.
He was certain he did not know this beautiful yet sinister Elf girl.
But she felt strangely familiar.
Wait!
I’m two meters tall; back in my debut days, they called me the Giant Knight.
So why do I have to look up at a woman who’s just over 1.8 meters?
“You are… Hm? My voice?”
At the same time, the Nameless Brave realized there was something terribly wrong with his voice—it had become extremely delicate!
