The outcome was decided.
This war for the authority of the Main Universe Will between Imperial Preceptor Yuwen and Jiang Ke’er — this war that concerned countless starry skies and my very existence — finally had a result.
“It’s over.”
Jiang Ke’er rose from the coffin, her expression filled with the dread of total defeat.
“We lost?”
“We lost big time!” Jiang Ke’er flashed in front of me, her face full of despair. “Yun Luo Xian, oh Yun Luo Xian, why are you so ridiculously strong?!”
“What…? What does that have to do with me?”
“It has everything to do with you!” Jiang Ke’er pressed a hand to her forehead.
“It turns out the selection system for the Main Universe Will is an artificial idiot. The only thing it cares about is the degree to which the two competing parties correct history…”
‘Uh… does that mean I went completely in the opposite direction?’
“You represented my side. If you had lost, it at least wouldn’t count as destroying history… but you’re too strong. You beat those Xianren bodies so badly they had no way to fight back, to the point that you completely and utterly destroyed history!”
“Are you blaming me for this? Could you have just stood by and watched your friends die?”
“Of course I’m not blaming you…” Jiang Ke’er collapsed to the ground in defeat.
“It’s just that we might all die now. Imperial Preceptor Yuwen won. He obtained the Main Universe Will. He can obliterate us with a single thought.”
.
Not far away, Imperial Preceptor Yuwen looked at us with a smile.
“Jiang Ke’er, thanks to you, my plans over these years can finally become a reality. Thank you.” Having his dream of many years come true, even Imperial Preceptor Yuwen could not hide his excitement.
He simply raised his hand, and an irresistible Supreme Power froze Jiang Ke’er and me in mid-air.
This was the power of the Main Universe Will.
He was like a GM in a game, a supreme administrator sitting by the server, able to change the world server’s data at any time or even just pick up an axe and smash the server to pieces.
We were merely data within it, and he held the highest level of data operation authority.
How could code ever beat a programmer?
I wanted to speak, but I couldn’t make a sound.
‘Well, is it really going to end like this? My story with Cluru… is it just going to end so suddenly? I should have known better than to come back… but even if I hadn’t, I wouldn’t have escaped Imperial Preceptor Yuwen’s control in the other universe anyway. It’s better to die with a clear understanding of the situation like this.’
“Long time no see, Little Yuwen.”
‘Huh? Who is calling Imperial Preceptor Yuwen “Little Yuwen”? Is there someone else who calls him that besides me?’
Jiang Ke’er and I looked toward the distance. The silhouette of a woman stood in the center of the teleportation spell array.
Her long hair flew in the wind. Her form had just been constructed, and the air around her was still swirling violently, blowing her long sleeves and the hem of her dress.
.
She was a woman whose charm was tempered by a heroic aura, and she bore a strong mother-daughter resemblance to Jiang Ke’er.
Qiao Xiaoxian’s summoning array was finally complete.
“Lord of the Stars… you came, but you are too late.” Imperial Preceptor Yuwen let out a slightly mocking laugh.
“Many years ago, you dared to lay hands on the Stars, and I killed you time and time again… I thought you had learned your lesson.”
“I’m sorry, you can kill me ten thousand times, but I am now the Main Universe Will,” Imperial Preceptor Yuwen said expressionlessly as he raised his hand. “I only need a single thought to erase you. Goodbye, Su Yaya. Obliterate.”
Su Yaya vanished from the spot just like that.
Just as Imperial Preceptor Yuwen said, with a single thought, it was over.
“Now, it is time for you two to disappear as well,” Imperial Preceptor Yuwen said, pointing his finger at Jiang Ke’er and me. “Ob—”
Duang!!!
Suddenly, a dull thud echoed against the back of Imperial Preceptor Yuwen’s head.
Imperial Preceptor Yuwen was sent flying hundreds of kilometers away, his head literally flattened by the blow.
Su Yaya appeared behind him, holding her Priest’s Staff and maintaining a baseball-style swing pose.
She lightly blew on the Priest’s Staff and looked up at Imperial Preceptor Yuwen, who teleported back in the blink of an eye.
“I’m sorry, it seems your obliteration didn’t quite work.”
Imperial Preceptor Yuwen’s pupils shook. “Why… how could this…”
.
“Your ability to foresee the future is indeed troublesome. It ensures that none of my schemes can escape your calculations. However, the principle of your foresight is peering into the Dao of Heaven… You can only foresee things that existed while the Dao of Heaven and the previous Universe Will were in place.”
“Once the authority of the Main Universe Will changes, you can no longer predict what happens. Since that’s the case, why would I make arrangements for before you seized the Main Universe Will? I only needed to plan for what happens after you seized the Main Universe Will, didn’t I?”
“But I have already become the Main Universe Will… I am omnipotent! How dare you?! How do you dare oppose me at a time like this?!”
Su Yaya smiled enchantingly. “Because I don’t like being ruled by an idiot.”
He was insulted.
‘Why did it turn out like this? He clearly became the Main Universe Will, yet he’s being called an idiot.’
Imperial Preceptor Yuwen was having a mental breakdown.
He frantically used his authority to try and erase Su Yaya.
This continued until a man appeared beside Su Yaya.
It was another Imperial Preceptor Yuwen.
Or rather, it was Gu Yuetian.
“I’m sorry, your authority is quite useful. I’ll steal it for a bit. Hehe~” Gu Yuetian made a disgustingly cute smile using Imperial Preceptor Yuwen’s face.
Imperial Preceptor Yuwen was stunned.
He closed his eyes to think, using his authority to investigate.
Gritting his teeth, he said, “I see… Gu Yuetian… so that’s why you approached me… But that Transformation Power that sculpted you into me—why does someone other than me possess such high-level authority?! Su Yaya, was this also your arrangement?!”
“Since you’ve asked so sincerely… of course it was.” Su Yaya gave an innocent smile. “Why do you think I let myself get hurt? We only became friends after a fight, didn’t we, Small Octopus?”
Cluru’s Small Octopus hopped out and affectionately waved its Tentacle at Su Yaya.
‘I see. I was wondering where that fellow who fought Su Yaya went when we entered that High-dimensional World. So he was by our side all along. What a far-reaching scheme. Could it be that our arrival in this world was already calculated by this woman? This woman is terrifying.’
“Alright, alright,” at that moment, the fake Imperial Preceptor Yuwen — Gu Yuetian — clapped his hands. “Everyone, look at me! It’s my turn to say a few words!”
“…You?”
“Of course. I am now the owner of half the Main Universe Will,” Gu Yuetian said with a grin. “And Su Yaya, I’ve really put up with you for a long time.”
“???” Su Yaya was dumbfounded. “Dog Thief Jianggu, are you doing this again?! A scheme within a scheme within a scheme??”
“Haha, I am Dog Thief Jianggu, after all. Stinky Yaya, you should have seen this coming, shouldn’t you?” Gu Yuetian laughed wildly.
“Half of the Main Universe Will belongs to me now. From now on, you’d better listen to me… otherwise, I’ll obliterate you.”
“…Dog Thief Jianggu, may you die a horrible death!”

‘Oh boy, we are completely doomed now…’
