“Let’s go.”
Christ looked at the cute, wide-eyed expression on his younger sister’s face and couldn’t help but chuckle.
After the coachman respectfully opened the carriage door, Christ was the first to step out, followed by Helos and Eleanor.
The two sisters followed their brother, slowly walking into the renowned Royal Magic Academy.
As soon as they stepped through the gates, Eleanor couldn’t help but let out a soft gasp of admiration, a look of comfort spreading across her face.
“The mana here is so abundant.”
However, Helos didn’t feel any special aura; the air still smelled the same to her.
Although the young girl couldn’t perceive the so-called mana like her sister, she could still see the differences with her own eyes.
A few self-cleaning Magic Light Orbs floated above the lawn, and strange runes flickered slowly on the walls of the distant buildings. Everything was starkly different from the outside world.
They had only just entered the academy and taken a few steps before a group of sharp-eyed students spotted them.
It was clear that Christ’s reputation was much higher than the two sisters had imagined.
“It’s Master Christ!”
“Oh my god! It’s Master Christ from the Tower of Truth! Why is he at the academy?”
“Look, look! It really is him!”
The previously quiet lawn instantly turned into a commotion.
A large crowd of students wearing various academy uniforms swarmed them like cats smelling fish, quickly surrounding the three of them so tightly that not a drop of water could pass through.
With expressions of excitement and adoration, they chattered and discussed, trying to push to the front to catch a glimpse of the legendary genius mage.
“Sorry, excuse me, please let us through.”
Christ was clearly caught off guard by the scene, so he could only apologize while trying his best to carve a path through the crowd.
“Wow, Brother, you’re really popular,” Helos, being jostled around, couldn’t help but whisper a sarcastic remark.
“They’re just… underclassmen.” Christ shook his head helplessly. “If I had known, I would have used a disguise before coming in.”
It took a great deal of effort for them to finally break through the crowd. The young man practically dragged his two sisters along as they hurried away from that “troublesome place.”
Even after they left, the students didn’t disperse immediately. They remained gathered, talking all at once about the two figures who had been following Master Christ.
“Did you see? Those two ladies following Master Christ!”
“I saw them! One golden-haired and one silver-haired! They were both incredibly beautiful!”
“Who are they? Could they be Master Christ’s sisters?”
“They must be! Oh my god! Since they’re Master Christ’s sisters…”
“They’re definitely geniuses! No doubt about it!”
Such speculations and rumors spread among the students as if they had grown wings.
It was predictable that for a long time to come, the title of “Christ’s twin sisters” would be the hottest gossip topic in the academy.
However, Helos and Eleanor were unaware of this at the moment. Led by Christ, they crossed the vast lawn and arrived in front of the Main Castle, which stood like a giant in the center of the campus.
The interior of the castle was even more magnificent than Helos had imagined.
The high dome was painted with the trajectories of stars, and the long corridors were lined with portraits of famous Imperial Archmages from throughout history.
Students walked through the corridors — some in a hurry, others gathered to discuss profound magical problems — creating a thick academic atmosphere.
Familiar with the way, Christ led them all the way to the Dean’s office on the top floor of the castle.
Before meeting the Dean, Helos had already constructed a classic “Gandalf” image in her mind — an old man with a flowing white beard, wise eyes, a gemstone-encrusted staff in one hand, and a heavy magic book in the other.
‘Hmm… I guess holding a staff in one hand and a sword in the other wouldn’t be bad either?’
When the heavy door made of moonwood was pushed open, the scene inside the office took Helos by surprise.
The office was spacious and bright, with a panoramic view of the Imperial Capital outside the large floor-to-ceiling windows.
There wasn’t much decoration in the room, only several massive bookshelves reaching the ceiling and a desk cluttered with various strange magical items.
Sitting behind that desk was no white-bearded old man. Instead, it was a golden-haired female Elf wearing silver-white mage robes.
She appeared to be about 30 years old, with brilliant golden hair that flowed like liquid sunshine over her shoulders.
Her features were as exquisite as a divine creation, and her emerald eyes were like the clearest jade — deep and filled with the wisdom of ages.
Just by sitting there quietly, she radiated a powerful aura that one dared not look at directly — even more imposing than Duke Eisend’s.
“It’s been a long time, Dean Finalais,” Christ spoke first and gave her a bow.
Finalais.
The Dean, a legendary archmage who had lived for over 800 years. It was said that her strength was such that she might not even lose if she were to face off against Duke Eisend.
“It’s you, Christ.” Finalais looked up and saw him, a faint smile appearing on her face. “I thought you planned to stay in your tower for the rest of your life. What brings you to see me today?”
Her gaze swept past Christ and fell upon Eleanor and Helos behind him.
“These must be your two precious sisters.”
“Yes, Dean,” Christ nodded. “I’ve brought them here today to complete their enrollment procedures.”
Finalais seemed to have known Christ’s purpose long ago. Without saying much, she took two pre-prepared documents from a drawer and signed her name with a feather pen.
“I’ve already taken care of the paperwork in advance.” She handed the documents over. “Eleanor goes to the Divine Magic Academy, and Helos to the Comprehensive Research Academy, correct?”
“Yes.”
“I see.” Finalais nodded. Her gaze lingered on Helos for a moment, a hint of curiosity flickering in her emerald eyes. “A very interesting young girl. I hope you find the answers you seek at the academy.”
After offering a few brief instructions, Christ prepared to leave with his two sisters. However, just as they were about to step out the door, Finalais’s somewhat languid voice stopped them once more.
“Oh, right, there’s one more thing.”
The three of them stopped at the same time and turned back in confusion.
The golden-haired Elf leaned back in her chair and said slowly, “According to academy regulations, all first-year students must live in the academy dormitories. They are not allowed to arrange their own housing.”
“Huh?” Christ froze upon hearing this, then slapped his forehead in frustration. “Oh, no — I graduated too long ago and forgot about that rule.”
His original plan was to have his two sisters live in the manor in the Imperial Capital, looked after by his servants. It seemed that plan was now ruined.
Eleanor didn’t really mind. As a Saintess Candidate, her training often required her to stay overnight at the Church, so she wasn’t opposed to communal living.
But Helos’s face fell instantly.
Living in a dormitory?!
‘Then how am I supposed to secretly research my alchemy?!’
She wailed in despair in her heart.
But clearly, the rules would not be changed for her. Even if she were 10,000 times unwilling, she had to follow the academy’s regulations.
“There’s nothing to be done.” Christ sighed, an apologetic expression on his face. “It looks like we’ll have to change our itinerary for now.”
Looking at his two sisters, especially seeing Helos’s dejected look, he suggested, “Let’s go. I’ll take you to the Central Commercial District first to buy some daily necessities you’ll need for the dormitory.”
