“I’m going to refine Young Master into the Ten Thousand Demon Banner.”
No, just because you said it again with that innocent look doesn’t make it any less insane or morally wrong.
Kane shuddered and instantly snapped back to full awareness.
The Ten Thousand Demon Banner, as its name implied, was a magical artifact capable of capturing souls and bending them to the user’s will.
“Ten Thousand” was just a metaphor there was no actual upper limit to how many demons one could control with it, depending solely on the user’s power.
According to the records of the Kingdom of Silicis, a demon once used the Ten Thousand Demon Banner to control as many as 14,250 monsters.
That same demon became the most terrifying Demon King in history.
Even though that Demon King was vanquished by the first Hero over six hundred years ago, the nightmare he unleashed upon the world still lingered to this day.
That’s why the Ten Thousand Demon Banner was strictly forbidden across all nations.
Anyone found in possession of one would be branded a heretic and hunted down.
This was a demon’s tool.
So why… why does Enya have it?
Kane’s puzzled, stunned gaze was met by Enya’s mischievous smile as she licked her lips like a little devil.
A devil… wait, don’t tell me—
Enya smiled as if responding to his unspoken guess.
A pink glow enveloped her body, and from her back sprouted bat-like wings.
Two curled horns grew from her head, and a heart-tipped tail slipped out from beneath the blanket, coiling tightly around Kane’s arm as if claiming ownership.
It squeezed.
Coiled.
Clung.
A spiral mark slowly imprinted itself on his arm.
Her heart-shaped eyes locked onto Kane’s calm, unflinching gaze.
With jade-like fingers, she gently tapped her lips, tilted her head, and said:
“Young Master doesn’t seem surprised at all.”
“I kind of suspected it…”
They’d grown up together, slept side by side for so long he’d passed out more than a few times already, while she only grew more energetic.
Anyone with a brain would notice something was off.
“But Young Master never rejected me. You were always as gentle as ever, loving only me, Enya.”
Her voice was soft and tender as her smooth hands rested lightly on his firm chest.
Kane looked at the girl before him and said quietly:
“Of course. Why would I look at my woman any differently?”
“?!”
Enya froze, silent for a moment then her face broke into an even brighter smile.
“That’s why I love you. You’re mine, and mine alone.”
“So please… let Young Master completely become mine as well, just like you are now forever loving me.”
As she spoke, Enya took out a crystal orb of deep violet.
Despite its name, the Ten Thousand Demon Banner was shaped like a sphere.
With a dreamy, lovestruck smile, Enya gently spread his legs with her dainty feet.
The blanket slipped down.
Holding the Ten Thousand Demon Banner, she slowly leaned toward Kane.
“Young Master, I’m coming in now.”
“…”
Kane, seemingly resigned, let out a long sigh and said:
“Can I ask you one question?”
“I’m your maid. No matter how many questions you have, I will always answer honestly.”
Enya’s voice was sweet, but then she suddenly added:
“No… never mind. I can’t wait any longer… I really can’t control my love for you…”
Her chest rose and fell rapidly.
She rubbed her legs together, and her breath became rushed.
Again? We literally just finished… Kane resisted the urge to complain, twitching at the corner of his mouth.
“All right, it’s time. Young Master, your journey begins now.”
Amid the boy’s internal grumbling, the girl overflowing with affection pressed herself close, the two merging intimately.
Just before darkness swallowed everything—
No one saw it, but the boy’s lips curved upward ever so slightly.
And then, a voice long dormant echoed in his ear:

……
“Where is this…?”
Kane von Regulus opened his eyes.
The first thing he saw was a familiar, empty ceiling.
Then came the scent sweet, like milk, drifting into his nose.
Looking down, his arm cradled a warm, soft figure.
Enya’s peaceful, sleeping face like that of a baby rested quietly beside him.
No horns on her head. No wings on her back. No tail poking from her rear.
His magic and battle aura weren’t sealed.
This wasn’t the hydrangea-scented underground chamber, but a cozy countryside home at the edge of the border, a place just for him and Enya.
“…I’m back.”
Kane’s tension melted away as he let out a deep, relieved breath, his hand resting on her soft curves.
He glanced at the now-greyed-out text in front of him 【Closed Beta Completed (1/1).】 and rubbed his slightly sore eyes.
Didn’t expect I’d have to use this in the end…
Kane von Regulus was a transmigrator or more accurately, someone whose memories of a past life had suddenly reawakened.
One day, out of nowhere, a sharp pain struck his head, and along with it came a strange new set of memories of a past life on a planet called Blue Star.
Thanks to those memories, Kane realized that he was a villain in a yuri visual novel, the kind who gets brutally destroyed by the heroine early in the story.
As the pompous noble who tries to humiliate the heroine upon her arrival at the magic academy, he laid hands on her childhood friend, one of the heroine’s potential love interests, and assaulted her only to be utterly defeated in the end.
Though his noble status as a duke’s son spared his life, he was stripped of his title and demoted to commoner status.
And that should’ve been the end of his story except the vengeful bastard didn’t stop there.
Obsessed with revenge, he conspired with the demon race to assassinate the heroine.
Naturally, in the name of friendship and bonds, the heroine made short work of him.
He was executed for colluding with demons.
Not even his powerful parents could save him.
He lost everything his status, his life, and even his dignity.
Luckily, he’d awakened his memories just in time to try and rewrite his fate.
At least, that was the plan… except the memories returned after he’d already kidnapped the heroine’s childhood friend.
With no better option, Kane petitioned to be exiled to a remote countryside town on the border.
That decisively cut off any chance of future contact with the demon race.
Just as he’d hoped, he spent a quiet month there.
Not only did he survive the point in the story where he was supposed to die, but two weeks ago, he’d even consummated his relationship with Enya, the loyal personal maid who had grown up with him and chose to stay by his side.
A bright future lay ahead of them both.
But who could’ve guessed that Enya was a yandere and a succubus, no less…
Even now, Kane felt chills just thinking about that week he spent locked in the basement.
Thank god he had one chance to reset everything.
If not, he’d have died for real.
“We’ve already done the deed, so that means the reset point is just over two weeks ago… Tch, couldn’t it have gone back a little earlier?”
Why not just start over from birth?
Get a true second run, damn it!
This system seriously had no common sense.
Kane sighed, reluctantly pulled his hand out from that soft, creamy warmth, and got out of bed to check the calendar on the wall.
He wasn’t sure exactly which day it had reset to.
Hopefully it was the day they first slept together.
That would give him two full weeks to escape successfu, wait…. that date… July 23rd.
Shit! Isn’t that the day she drugged me and knocked me out?
