Cat went into the room to study, while Su Li began fiddling with the TV screen casting.

Once their eyes met, Cat jogged out of the room with light steps.

She came to Su Li’s side and handed her a piece of paper where she had just practiced writing Su Li’s name, stroke by stroke.

“Su Li, Su Li!”

“I practiced writing this, though it doesn’t look very good.”

Cat spoke softly. She felt her handwriting was not pretty enough to be given to Su Li as a gift.

She did not know if Su Li would even like it.

“It’s very good. You’re amazing, Cat!”

Su Li looked at her name written by Cat.

The two characters for Su Li were quite complex, but Cat had written them carefully, stroke by stroke.

She was very satisfied.

After all, this was part of Cat’s growth process.

“I’m not that amazing.”

Cat felt a bit embarrassed by Su Li’s praise.

Seeing Su Li carefully tuck away the paper she had written on, her heart felt warm.
