“Ah, look at this blue sky.”
“Ah, look at these white clouds.”
“Ah, I really want to recite a poem.”
Unfortunately, Song Wuli didn’t have much literary talent and could only manage one word: “Ah.”
Currently, he wasn’t in his old man form, but rather his bratty girl form.
Stretched out before his eyes was a high-end resort: Yinmiao Mountain Villa.
This place was very familiar; it was a destination frequently visited by celebrities. Although it was positioned as a top-tier luxury location, the area wasn’t large, and there were very few recreational facilities—in fact, there were almost none at all.
The price, however, was so high that an average person couldn’t afford it. Even for an elite worker like Song Wuli, staying here once would have been difficult.
So, who was footing the bill this time? It certainly wasn’t Yin Lin or Huan Hong. Looking at how proactive Jin Luan was being as she gave them a tour, it was clear she was the one paying.
‘Is she really a rich young miss?’
After saying goodbye to the driver who had dropped them off, the three of them stood at the entrance of the estate. There was a magnificent archway gate here, complete with inscriptions.
The stone tablets nearby were covered with the calligraphy of many famous people, in both Chinese and foreign languages. Even a former leader of the Human Alliance had left a message here.
Passing through the archway gate, they followed a stone path. The surrounding area was filled with flowers, trees, and lush bamboo, giving one a sense of peace as if they were immersed in nature.
After walking further inside for a while, they reached their destination: a manor filled with an ancient atmosphere. It was said to have a history of over one hundred years. Even though it was a wooden structure, it was well-maintained, and the exterior looked very polished and shiny.
Staying here was like a private booking; there were no outsiders except for the staff. There were only the three tourists.
Upon entering the building, Yin Lin observed the architecture curiously. She had only seen these ancient-style designs on television before; this was the first time she had seen them with her own eyes. After years of the world being attacked by Heterodemons, much of the traditional culture had been lost.
After checking in, they chose their rooms and sent all the staff away, as they didn’t need them for the time being. This vast estate, which resembled an ancient princely mansion, was now left to just the three of them. They could play however they wanted.
Huan Hong was not transformed right now; she was the Chen Jiayuan that Song Wuli had met before at the milk tea shop. Jin Luan wasn’t transformed either, currently using the identity of Xia Shiyao.
Only Song Wuli was in the transformed state of Yin Lin, wearing casual clothes, a hat, a mask, and glasses as a disguise. She had originally wanted to disguise herself as Yao Ruoning, but unfortunately, that would require carrying the transformed staff. That thing would expose her the moment she carried it.
Thinking about how much trouble disguising would be, she decided to just participate in this Joint Training Camp as Yin Lin. Regardless, her total mana capacity was enough to sustain the consumption of the transformation.
Once they settled down, Xia Shiyao acted as a guide and took them around the place. It was clear that this wasn’t her first time here.
They looked through the main hall, bedrooms, and the second-floor observation deck. There wasn’t anything particularly special, but they could feel the charm of the ancient architecture. There was also a training dojo here with all kinds of weapons. However, those were designed for human use, not for magical girls to play with.
Then, they went to a very special place: an artificial hot spring.
“This hot spring isn’t just heated water, you know,” Xia Shiyao introduced excitedly at the open-air bath.
“A hot spring in the middle of summer?” Yin Lin couldn’t help but retort.
“Don’t interrupt,” Xia Shiyao continued. “It’s said that Yinmiao Temple has a very Mysterious Treasure…”
“Yinmiao Temple what-now?” Chen Jiayuan also couldn’t help but interrupt.
“You don’t even know about Yinmiao Temple? Are you some kind of primitive person?” Yin Lin retorted again before explaining.
This temple was an ancient one with over one hundred years of history. Years ago, during human civil wars, the temple would take in and treat the poor, accumulating a good reputation. During the era of the Heterodemon wars, the temple also saved many people. Legend has it they even took down a low-level Heterodemon despite their own casualties. This earned them even more fame.
After that, as Yiri City gradually became peaceful, Yinmiao Temple became a spiritual symbol. Many people would go there to burn incense and make a wish, regardless of whether it actually worked. Others would intentionally send incense money just to support the development of the temple.
Seeing that their reputation was too high and their influence too strong, Yinmiao Temple decided to close its doors to visitors. They helped the world during chaotic times and lived in seclusion during times of peace.
That was many years ago. Later, the Yinmiao Mountain Villa was built next to the temple as a resort location. However, those who stayed here fell under the management of the temple and were allowed to offer incense and pray.
Some people joked that Yinmiao Temple only scammed the rich and never the common citizens.
“Wow, everyone knows the temple is going to overcharge them, yet they still come here to give them money?” Chen Jiayuan found it hard to believe.
Xia Shiyao smiled but didn’t answer. Yin Lin also smiled; there was a lot of depth to this that couldn’t be explained in just a few words.
“There’s another very magical thing about Yinmiao Temple,” Xia Shiyao shared a secret that only she knew. “It’s said that there is a Mysterious Treasure here that can emit light and heat, making the water warm. So, they used that treasure to create a hot spring.”
“Uh… that’s some real ‘radiant’ luck. Emitting light and heat… isn’t that just radiation?” Yin Lin couldn’t help but mock again.
Suddenly, she saw Xia Shiyao winking at her, though she didn’t know why. Yin Lin felt a bit creeped out, sensing that something was wrong.
Suddenly, two hands reached under her armpits. Chen Jiayuan grabbed her from behind and lifted her up.
“What? What are you doing? You won’t let me tell the truth? Put me down!” Yin Lin struggled, with only her toes able to touch the ground.
Xia Shiyao quickly lifted her legs, then smirked as she and Chen Jiayuan threw Yin Lin into the open-air hot spring together. Yin Lin’s reactions were also fast; she grabbed their clothes with both hands, dragging them both into the water with her.
And so, all three of them were soaked.
Falling into someone’s hot spring while fully clothed felt like a total lack of manners. Xia Shiyao shook out her wet hair and wiped the water off her face. Since she was already wet, she simply started taking off her clothes.
Yin Lin quickly and discreetly turned around, feeling a bit awkward.
On the other side, the soaked Chen Jiayuan also started undressing. She was the most enthusiastic one, wanting to enjoy the luxury manor that only high society could afford to live in, and wanting to experience this hot spring water supposedly heated by a Mysterious Treasure.
Yin Lin accidentally caught a few glimpses. Chen Jiayuan was actually quite well-endowed; her body was curvaceous, and her chest was a bit larger than Yin Lin’s.
Embarrassed, she turned her head away, only to see Xia Shiyao just entering the water. She had stripped completely naked, wearing nothing at all. Her large chest swayed, making Yin Lin’s face turn red instantly.
“What’s wrong? Why are your face and ears so red?” Xia Shiyao asked curiously, leaning in close.
“Soaking in a hot spring in the middle of summer is just too weird. I’m a bit used to it,” Yin Lin explained haphazardly, keeping her back to them.
It wasn’t that Song Wuli hadn’t seen adult films before, but he had never personally experienced such an ambiguous scene.
