The bedroom was now empty except for Seraphina.
She let out a long breath, enduring the embarrassment as she began clumsily handling her situation.
With the help of the hot water, she cleaned her body, changed into fresh clothes, and—relying on vague memories from the last time—managed to awkwardly secure that shameful pad in place.
The process was fraught with difficulties.
The position never felt quite right, bringing a thorough sense of discomfort.
The abdominal pain only eased slightly.
But at least the most embarrassing mess had been dealt with.
Exhausted, she collapsed onto the bed, wrapping herself tightly in the blankets to maintain her gradually cooling body temperature.
Right now, all she wanted was to escape this troublesome day through sleep.
Just as she was drifting into complete unconsciousness, the shadows by the bedside silently gathered.
Movira appeared quietly, her gaze sweeping over Seraphina curled into a ball on the bed.
And over the soiled dress casually discarded on the floor, still stained.
She sighed softly, leaning down to let warm demonic magic seep into Seraphina’s tense body.
The sleeping girl let out a comfortable murmur in her dreams, her body gradually relaxing.
Morning light filtered through the gaps in the curtains, bringing a mildly intoxicating feeling.
Seraphina slowly awoke.
The first thing she felt was not yesterday’s chill, but a warm—even somewhat hot—source pressed tightly against her back.
Strong arms encircled her waist.
Warm, steady breaths regularly brushed the nape of her neck, bringing a faint tickling sensation.
…
It was Movira.
Seraphina didn’t need to turn around to know.
Memories of yesterday’s chaos flooded back.
Her cheeks instantly heated.
She wanted to quietly shift away, escaping the heart-fluttering embrace.
“Awake?”
The voice came from behind.
The arms around her waist, as she tried to leave, unexpectedly loosened slowly.
They only rested lightly on her now, with no intent to restrain.
“Still troubled over yesterday?”
“No… it’s nothing.”
Seraphina’s voice was very small, hardly matching her words.
Her instinctive reaction was still to evade.
“My dear, I’ve told you—this is a perfectly natural thing, part of a woman’s body. There’s no need to feel ashamed or want to escape it.”
Movira’s tone carried rare patient guidance. “Whether it’s the arrival of your cycle, or… the possible cravings for physical contact that might arise—both are normal.”
“You… don’t say any more!”
Seraphina yanked the blanket upward, covering her entire head.
Her ears burned red.
That taut string in her heart, always ready to resist, seemed to relax slightly because of the other’s unusual “retreat.”
“Alright, I won’t say more.”
Movira paused for a moment, then added a reminder. “But over these next few days, you need to rest well and let your body recover. So, even if you have ‘needs’…”
At this point, Movira quickly observed Seraphina’s reaction.
Seeing only that she buried her head deeper, without violent rejection, she continued in a calm tone.
“You should endure it for now. In a few days, if it’s truly necessary, you can come to me. Of course, I won’t be as intense as last time. We’ll just… do it as sisters. How about that?”
“I won’t have any needs! And I definitely won’t come to you!”
Seraphina’s voice came muffled from under the blankets, still a shy and indignant protest.
But it sounded more like… stubborn denial.
At the same time, Seraphina felt something odd.
Since when had Movira become so agreeable?
Starting from yesterday…
Whatever.
She was just a shameless pervert anyway.
Still, Seraphina hesitated.
Her voice remained muffled, but she asked anyway. “Movira, why do you… treat me like this?”
“Hmm? Treat you how?”
Movira was lying on her side, staring at Seraphina’s back, her gaze calm.
“Just… so intimately.”
Seraphina carefully chose her words.
“And those things you said before, about ‘love’ and… continuation…”
Words that came so naturally from Movira’s mouth were difficult for her to voice.
Movira fell silent for a moment, her shrewd eyes shifting.
She spoke slowly, as if stating a simple fact.
“Why? Because you’re my little sister, Seraphina. Isn’t that what everyone outside says? The Demon King and her Regent sister are intimately close.”
Little sister?
Was that it?
This was the first time Seraphina had heard the word from Movira’s mouth.
But somehow, it seemed to explain everything.
Those overly blunt and explicit words—perhaps they were just Movira’s bad jokes?
But how could that be?
Everything before clearly showed she wanted to turn Seraphina into her…
“Do you think I’m an idiot? Little sister? You just want to…”
Before Seraphina could finish, Movira gently interrupted.
“That might be because my earlier words were too direct, causing you a big shock. I’ve thought about it these past few days. Since we need to change, why not change thoroughly? Hmm. How about starting with you calling me ‘big sister’?”
Big sister?
The title was like a rusted key, inserted into the lock of her confused heart—but it wouldn’t turn at all.
“Impossible!”
Her voice carried absolute refusal. “Everything you’ve done to me—which of those things would a ‘big sister’ do?”
“Oh? Then tell me, what should a big sister do?”
The voice held curious inquiry, as if discussing an academic question.
“Comb your hair? Teach you etiquette? Or… gently comfort you during your first cycle, instead of leaving you to struggle alone in embarrassment?”
That last sentence struck Seraphina’s sore spot.
Yesterday’s shame surged up again.
She abruptly threw off the blanket, turning to glare angrily at Movira.
“You were there all along! You knew everything! Yet you just watched… even…”
Her voice trembled.
Thinking of the shadow that still lingered like a ghost, thinking that she might have been hiding in some corner, observing her distress.
“Is that what you call being a big sister? You’re clearly still the same pervert! Spying!”
…
“If I said I just wanted you to learn to handle it yourself? That’s exactly what you demanded.”
Movira’s fingertips gently tidied Seraphina’s disheveled hair, carrying a hint of helplessness. “Seraphina, you always resist everything about me. When I help you personally, you feel humiliated; when I let go and allow you to do it yourself, you resent me for watching coldly.”
Actually, Seraphina hadn’t expected herself to lose control and flare up.
Perhaps it was truly yesterday’s helplessness that had left her feeling deeply wronged…
Movira leaned forward slightly, almost whispering against Seraphina’s ear.
Her voice was low, yet carried a charming breath. “Then tell me, what should I do… my little sister?”
