Chapter 106: Leaving the Dock

In the dark space, Bai Shuanglian suddenly turned to look at the door behind her, as if she sensed something had happened.

“What’s wrong?”

A small hand in her palm moved.

Ling Xiaoyou leaned in, asking, “Did something happen?”

“It’s nothing, I must have just imagined it.”

Bai Shuanglian shook her head, not mentioning the strange feeling she just had.

She looked ahead into the pitch-black darkness, snapped her fingers, and a wisp of flame bloomed from her fingertip, illuminating the space.

Of course, it wasn’t a blazing sun-like fire, just an ordinary flame for lighting.

“Wow, so many ice blocks!”

Su Lihua, following beside them, let out a cry of surprise, gazing at the bluish ice illuminated by the flame.

Within those ice blocks, there were Spirits of various appearances, all equally ethereal and sealed within, eyes tightly closed as if in a deep slumber.

“It looks like those demons used these ice blocks to trap the Spirits.”

“They’ve been inside the ice for so long, we don’t know their condition now. If we unseal them recklessly, something unexpected might happen.”

“That makes sense.”

“We can contact the people from the Regulatory Division.”

Bai Shuanglian looked at the other two.

“They’re probably also looking for these missing Spirits. We can let them handle the unsealing and placement.”

“Not sure. If you want, just call her Elder like us.”

Ling Xiaoyou could tell Su Lihua didn’t want to continue this subject, so she didn’t push it.

The three left the dock.

Not long after, thick fog rolled in, swallowing up the battlefield they had just left behind.
