“Aier Qi, get up quickly!”

Rosily’s voice snapped Aier Qi out of her daze.

She picked up her magic staff from the ground, cast a layer of Wind’s Blessing on herself, and sprinted toward the edge of the arena.

Her dash startled the spectators, who quickly scrambled away, afraid of being cut in half by the puppet’s giant sword.

They had seen firsthand during the last practical class what happened to those who underestimated the puppet.

Many hadn’t even returned to school since then!

Some had the courage to run, while others were already too scared to move.

One skinny guy stood frozen, his legs shaking uncontrollably, screaming desperately.

“It’s coming! It’s coming! Somebody save me, somebody save me!”

Of course, no one came to his rescue.

Seeing this, Aier Qi’s heart skipped a beat.

She turned to another direction and continued her frantic tactical retreat.

The puppet swung its giant sword down, leaving a deep scar in the ground just ten centimeters away from the skinny guy’s feet.

But after pulling out the longsword, the puppet ignored him and turned to face Rosily instead.

This time, the sword strike was even faster than Rosily’s reaction.

She couldn’t dodge and had no choice but to raise her sword and block the attack.

Sparks flew where the blades clashed.

Luckily, she used the magic shield she had learned from the puppet earlier.

Though pushed back five meters, she sustained little impact damage.

Rosily glanced down at the longsword and her tingling hands, then looked back at the puppet.

The playful smile on her face was gone, replaced by a firm, serious expression.

She took up her stance, ready to face the puppet entering its second phase.

“Though I don’t know why you can still move, I’m actually glad you’re still active. Let’s continue!”

But the puppet ignored Rosily and charged straight at Aier Qi, who had stopped to catch her breath nearby.

Previously, its targeting was fixed on Rosily since it attacked the closest target.

Now, the strange silk threads seemed to have granted the puppet some intelligence, letting it decide to deal with the annoying Elementalist first.

Seeing it rush toward Aier Qi again, Rosily couldn’t help but feel angry.
