<7th Boss – Earth, Colossal Machine Gigas>
In a land of fertile soil, a paradise overflowing with milk and honey, people naturally gather.
Giga, the land under the protection of the primordial earth deity.
On this abundant land, as the years passed, the population grew rapidly, and the city shone brilliantly.
However, those who rely on supports crumble when the foundation disappears.
The sudden, mysterious death of the earth deity.
The paradise dried up, and the combination of limited food and an excessive population plunged the city into endless division and war.
A zero-sum game where one must kill to survive.
Amid such wars, that weapon was born.
A colossal destructive weapon made from the remains of the earth deity.
The Colossal Machine Gigas.
In just one night, the war came to an end.
Because all the enemies were annihilated.
Afterward, the weapon, too powerful, was sealed into six pieces.
Yet, now, there are greedy ones seeking to reassemble it.
Stand against the god’s weapon.
‘Stop them.’
“This is irresistible.”
The head of Gigas was right in front of me.
Recalling the description of Gigas from my time in Another World, my eyes sparkled.
A colossal machine that moves according to the user’s commands.
A dream come true for any man—
Gundam!
A robot!
Moreover, being split into six pieces added combination functionality.
And when combined, it became the strongest—a final touch of romance!
Although, due to its earth-elemental boss concept, its entire body was a dirt-brown color—an unfortunate flaw.
But I could simply cover it in darkness to make it appear jet black.
“You’re mine. When I get back, I’ll pamper you thoroughly.”
Even though my body had become that of a woman,
I hadn’t forgotten that sense of romance.
While staring at Gigas’s head with a blissful expression,
a voice interrupted me.
“Spying on someone in secret? Truly shameless.”
“Huh?”
Before I could respond, a light shone on me out of nowhere.
Thud.
Crash—
The man tumbled to the ground clumsily, trembling as if he’d seen something terrifying.
“Why is he looking at me like I’m a monster?”
Feeling annoyed, I pouted, only to notice there was no sensation against my lips.
It was then that I understood the man’s reaction.
“Oh, right. I forgot to cover my face.”
In the dim cave, I had taken off my mask, assuming no one would notice.
“Peekaboo?”
I realized too late, but still, I hadn’t done anything.
Seeing the man trembling in fear for no reason, I felt a little indignant and decided to play a prank.
Of course, I didn’t expect him to react so strongly.
‘If I had been discovered outside…’
Nine times out of ten, people would have reacted the same way he did, and a national emergency would’ve ensued.
But I didn’t do anything.
Tap, tap.
Feeling wronged again, I tapped the innocent floor with my foot.
“Ahh! Have mercy!”
‘Oh, come on.’
Leaving the man, who was now kneeling on the ground, seemingly provoked, I turned my gaze toward the purple brazier in the center of the room.
The brazier continued to burn fiercely, absorbing the life force of the missing people.
‘First,’
I manipulated the darkness in the room to smother the brazier.
Crack.
With a faint sound, the purple flames of the brazier crumbled into a handful of ashes.
“My masterpiece… I stayed up for days crafting it…” the man muttered.
Considering he had likely kidnapped people to make it, I didn’t see why he was so attached.
Not my problem.
Ignoring him naturally, I wrapped the grandiose head of the Gigantes in darkness.
“I’ll take this, okay? Something like this should belong to a kind person like me.”
I mean, I may look like the final boss, but I think I’m pretty decent, don’t you?
The man, who had been staring blankly at my actions, soon seemed to lose his mind.
Enraged, he shouted, “No! Anything but that… I’d rather—”
A black magic circle formed in his hand.
Soon, a vortex of purple flames surged upward with a fierce wind.
“Die!”
But the man’s outburst was abruptly cut short.
The ceiling cracked, and a boulder fell, striking him square in the face. He died instantly.
Boom!
Shortly after, the room began to shake violently, as though an earthquake had struck.
No, it wasn’t just the room—the entire cavern started trembling as if it were about to collapse.
‘This isn’t my doing, though?’
Frantically, I swept through the darkness, searching for the source of the tremors.
And then, I found it.
‘…What?’
The source was none other than the head of the Gigantes, which I had wrapped in darkness to take with me.
Tremendous vibrations emanated from it.
Between the falling rocks, the Gigantes’s mouth opened.
“Perish, vile darkness. Your existence is not permitted here.”
A colossal voice reverberated through the cavern from the Gigantes’s mouth.
The darkness encasing the Gigantes slowly dissipated.
Crash!
The cavern collapsed.
The ceiling transformed into hundreds of sharp stalactites that rained down toward me.
In the midst of this bewildering chaos, I couldn’t help but laugh awkwardly.
“..Did I mess something up?”
A landslide—no, a rockslide—engulfed me.
Meanwhile, on the Our World forum:
The VR game Another World had become reality, and now the forum had transformed into a nationwide community.
Especially now that everyone had become their VR characters, there was no need for biochips anymore.
Through the translucent, semi-transparent “status window” in front of our eyes, access was possible anytime, anywhere.
As a result, thousands of posts flooded the forum every second.
And one particular topic was sweeping across the Our World forum:
Another World – KR Server
[Hey guys, I have a question about the 7th boss, Gigantes]
(An image of Gigantes in its complete form, assembled from six fragments)
(A screenshot of Gigantes’ infinite health and mana bars)
“Why the hell does this thing have infinite health and mana? No matter how much I attack, its health doesn’t go down. On top of that, its attack power is infinite, so getting hit even once is instant death. Is this some kind of bug? I’ve been sinking my salary into raising my character since last month, and now I run into this bug? Damn it, this game is a joke.”
– ??: “ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Someone actually stayed to watch this. Most people just leave.”
– Reply: “Huh? Why leave? It’s a boss fight.”
– Reply to reply: “…Never mind, stay healthy.”
– Reply: “Huh?”
– “Yep, it’s a bug. Reset your game right now.”Reply:
“You’re evil for saying that.”
“Don’t you read the description box? It says destroy it before it’s fully assembled.”
– Reply: “I’m a skip-everything type of player.”
Back in the days when it was still just Another World, someone had posted a question like this.
But now that Another World had become reality, even the smallest pieces of information from the past were now of critical importance.
As countless players began digging through old posts, one particular thread was unearthed, igniting a sudden frenzy on the forum in the middle of the night.
Our World – KR Server
[If you have a Gigantes fragment, turn yourself in to the association]
“The title says it all.”
“Just don’t let all six fragments come together, right? Don’t sell them to sketchy places and accidentally complete the set. If you report it on the association’s website, they’ll even pay you, so go do it.”
(Another screenshot of Gigantes’ infinite health and mana)
“It was an easy boss in the game, but now that it’s real, it’s terrifying. I’m scared of what might happen.”

“Better for the association to gather them than some lunatic.”
“I’d like to own just one piece of a Gundam arm myself, but…”
Insane bastard, hold on
– The person riding the SF tech is patrolling by air, but they’re not in Busan.
Are you the one who hit me while I was casting the flight magic?
I thought it was a seagull.
[No.]
You guys are misunderstanding something.
(Picture of Gigantes’s crazy health bar and stat window.)
Each piece of these things is just insanely powerful.
No gimmicks, just ridiculously high stats, making them giant monsters.
With a single piece, they can create a mountain, they’re that strong.
If a crazy bastard appears, everything’s screwed.
– ᄋᄋ Yep.
– ᄋᄋ So what?
– …? Why’s the reply status like this?
– Damn it, I’m purposely not mentioning it, don’t shove it in my face.
– Still, if we get some rankers together, we should be able to beat it, right?
– How are we supposed to survive before the hunters arrive?
– Don’t know? Anyway, I live in Seoul with the association, so it’s fine.
– Seoul Republic, this is crazy.
A reality everyone is concerned about.
And this wasn’t limited to Korea.
In a quiet rural vineyard, a giant arm was discovered.
The head of the German association gave orders to the members before the upcoming international summit.
“Absolutely no one else can know about this. We must be the only ones who know.”
Around the world, people began to prepare for the coming disaster.
And they started gathering even the smallest descriptions from Another World.
[All detectives, assemble.]
(Capture of the death of the Earth God, the origin of Gigantes.)
Gigantes is strong, but the original Earth God is obviously stronger, right?
But the Earth God died overnight.
Realistically, the Earth God couldn’t have just died overnight.
There must be some kind of weakness, right?
Now that it’s real, can we exploit that weakness?
If we can, there might be a way to deal with it.
Let’s brainstorm some ideas.
– Right, why did the Earth God die?
– Weakness?
Since the Earth God is ground-type, isn’t grass-type its weakness?
Are you talking about Pokémon or something?
– That’s it.
It was officially revealed by VR as one of the 7 bosses.
– So who’s that?
– Don’t know?
Once, hidden as an Easter egg, it was something VR released.
People started to make various speculations.
Since Gigantes is a ground-type, did the corrupted World Tree, Yggdrasil, who’s a grass-type, kill it?
Ha.
– Is that really true?
– Doesn’t matter.
– The day before the Earth God’s corpse was found, there’s a record in the tablet that an eclipse occurred.
– Could the eclipse be the culprit?
– Aria Eclipse? What does an eclipse have to do with dogs?
– Eclipse’s phase 1 instant-death attack is the eclipse.
– If you don’t have light magic or any light-related skills, you die instantly from that cursed skill. ᄋᄋ
An endless debate continues on the forums with hundreds of posts.
A war without sound, where no winner is decided.
[Breaking news, a giant monster’s head has appeared on the outskirts of Seoul. Everyone, evacuate. Be cautious, as mountains or lava may rise from the ground.]
Is this for real?
You can’t avoid it just by being cautious.
On the outskirts of Seoul, in a corner.
As hundreds of buildings rose, a level 12 alert sounded.
A moment later.
A massive destructive weapon, born from the remains of a god, and a single girl, rose from the earth.
