The current stream title might be more provocative compared to other small streamers, but I didn’t think it was particularly rude.
Confidence is the foundation of anything, after all.
‘Well, it’s not like I’m seriously committing to this. It’s just a hobby.’
If I were planning to dive in seriously, it might be a different story, but since this was just a pastime, there was no reason to care about what others thought.
With that thought, I started drawing.
“Hm.”
Since I hadn’t yet received detailed information about the album cover, it was too early to work on it during the stream.
For now, it was just a verbal agreement.
That left only one option for what to draw.
“I’ll draw a game character.”
Even though there were no viewers, I spoke to myself.
After all, I had started the stream because I was bored. Talking to myself made it feel less lonely.
So, I began searching for a game character to draw while mumbling to myself.
“Hm… what would be good?”
I knew of many games, but most of them didn’t have wholesome, attractive characters.
Most of the male characters were shirtless.
I wanted to draw a female character, but since I was streaming, it felt like something I should avoid.
‘I don’t want to be labeled as someone who draws questionable art.’
With that in mind, I kept browsing game characters.
“This one’s not it. That one’s not great either.”
I thought about how nice it would’ve been to have this kind of talent in my original world.
Even just drawing questionable art would’ve been a money-printing machine.
As I entertained that silly thought and continued browsing game characters.
“Hm? This one looks good.”
I found a character that seemed perfect.
Although it didn’t seem to be from a game, it looked pretty good to me, so I chose it.
‘What anime is this character from?’
Even though I considered myself highly knowledgeable about subculture, I had no recollection of seeing this character before.
That meant it was likely from something quite niche.
Deciding not to delve too deeply, I examined the character’s appearance.
The character had flowing green hair that swayed gently and wore a somewhat loose school uniform.
In contrast, the face was strikingly beautiful—so much so that it was difficult to tell whether the character was male or female.
“Ah…”
I finally got a sense of which anime this character might be from.
I couldn’t pinpoint the exact anime, but I figured it was probably from one of those kinds of shows, playing that kind of role.
“Well, I’ll just draw it.”
Since it wasn’t particularly important to me, I transferred the character’s outline onto my tablet and began planning how to approach the drawing.
‘How should I handle this part…?’
It was a bit of a dilemma.
Copying it exactly as it was would be the easiest route, but that wasn’t an option.
That would be no different from tracing.
I needed to reinterpret it through my own art style.
As I was deep in thought.
[HurryAndLeave: What kind of stream is this?]
[HurryAndLeave: The title says it’s a chatting stream, but…]
“It’s really just a chatting stream. I started it because drawing by myself felt a bit lonely. If you’re bored, feel free to chat with me!”
I wasn’t particularly fond of talking to strangers, but since this was online and not face-to-face, I didn’t mind.
After all, I often matched with random people in games—why would I be bothered by random interactions online?
[HurryAndLeave: Oh?]
[HurryAndLeave: So you’re a guy?]
“Yes. Are you a woman, HurryAndLeave?”
[HurryAndLeave: Yep, I’m a woman.]
[HurryAndLeave: To end up in a stream with no viewers…]
“Ah… I think I kind of get it.”
With so many streams out there with a decent number of viewers, the fact that someone had the time to wander into a stream like mine said enough.
[HurryAndLeave: What’s that supposed to mean? ——]
[HurryAndLeave: Apologize.]
“Oh, I’m sorry. By the way, HurryAndLeave, do you know this character?”
I genuinely had no clue about it.
When I asked, the viewer seemed excited to answer.
[HurryAndLeave: Oh, this one!]
[HurryAndLeave: This character’s anime is kinda famous, but…]
[HurryAndLeave: I can’t remember the title.]
“Hm, by the way, is there any drawing you’d like to see? I can do something simple for you. You’re my first viewer, after all, HurryAndLeave.”
If it were someone else who joined later, I wouldn’t bother, but for my very first viewer, I could make an exception. It was a milestone, after all.
[HurryAndLeave: Oh…]
[HurryAndLeave: Let me think for a moment.]
While I continued drawing the green-haired character, the viewer seemed to deliberate for a while before finally sending a message.
[HurryAndLeave: A cute beaver.]
[HurryAndLeave: And write ‘HurryAndLeave’ stylishly in the bottom-right corner.]
It wasn’t a difficult request.
That said, I was a bit curious.
“Wouldn’t adding that word make it less stylish?”
I couldn’t imagine how to make “HurryAndLeave” look stylish.
[HurryAndLeave: Uh…]
[HurryAndLeave: Then just write it plainly.]
“Got it.”
Accepting the viewer’s request, I searched for pictures of beavers online, found a reference, and started drawing quickly.
Swish swish—
While beavers have a lot of intricate details in their bodies, this wasn’t about precision.
The focus was on drawing something quickly and adorably.
How long had I been moving my hands?
“All done.”
The beaver drawing was complete.
And it turned out to be incredibly cute.
[HurryAndLeave: Oh!]
[HurryAndLeave: It’s seriously adorable.]
“Now, I’ll try to make the signature look as cool as possible…”
With that, I added a stylish signature in the bottom-right corner, giving it a bit of a cursive flair.
[HurryAndLeave: The vibe is amazing.]
[HurryAndLeave: Wow, I’ll definitely use it, thanks!]
“If I stream again, please drop by. It gets lonely.”
I meant it.
Just having one person around made a big difference in reducing the boredom.
[HurryAndLeave: Sure!]
[HurryAndLeave: I’ll come back next time.]
After saying that, I continued my stream.
“Wow, he’s seriously good at drawing.”
Yoon Harin, who went by the username HurryAndLeave everywhere she roamed, was deeply impressed.
Usually, the streams she watched were either offline or doing content she didn’t care for, so she’d decided to kill time by hopping into a random small streamer’s broadcast to tease them.
She hadn’t expected to walk away with such a delightful gift.
‘I have to show this off.’
With that thought, Yoon Harin logged into her favorite community, Red.
Red was a long-standing popular forum divided into subcategories where people could discuss their specific hobbies.

[Title: I Got an Absolute Legendary Custom Drawing Today LOL]
[Content: (Photo of the beaver cutely carving wood) Isn’t it freaking adorable? I joined some small-time art stream for fun and got this as a gift LOL.]
After posting, comments quickly started flooding in.
L: Wow, that’s insanely cute.
L: Who was it? I want one too.
N: Lol, why do people keep these small streamers to themselves?
L: This person probably just got the art and ghosted the streamer.
N: Lolol.
N: It’s just their nature to be selfish…
The drawing’s cuteness must have drawn attention since the post was getting a lot of comments.
Recommendations were pouring in as well, enough to push the post into the “top post” section if it kept going.
Confident in this prospect, Yoon Harin smugly turned on her VPN and skillfully began adding recommendations herself.
Click, click.
The post was going to make it to the top anyway—she was just speeding up the process.
After a few adjustments, the post reached the “top post” section shortly after being published.
Then, the comments flooded in at an entirely new level.
However.
“I’m never revealing it.”
She had no intention of sharing the streamer’s name.
‘This is for me to keep.’
There was no need to share this hidden gem with everyone else.
A streamer who drew custom art, had a great voice, and even held one-on-one conversations?
That was plenty to keep to herself.
With a sly grin, Yoon Harin chuckled to herself.
“Heh heh.”
The next day, Jaehun received a message from the person who had commissioned the album cover.
The artist’s name was Rage.
A quick search revealed that Rage was an R&B singer.
They weren’t particularly famous, though.
[Me: I’ll start working as per your request.]
[Me: I’ll make sure to add some of my own flair too.]
[Rage: Got it.]
L: Wow, that’s insanely cute.
L: Who was it? I want one too.
N: Lol, why do people always keep small streamers to themselves?
L: This person probably just got the art and ghosted the streamer.
N: Lololol.
N: It’s just their selfish nature…
The drawing’s cuteness seemed to be attracting a lot of attention.
The post was also racking up a significant number of recommendations.
If it kept going, it could easily make it to the “featured posts” section.
Feeling confident, Yoon Harin smugly turned on her VPN and started skillfully adding more recommendations herself.
Click, click.
The post was destined for the top anyway, so she was just speeding up the process.
After a few manual pushes, the post made it to the “featured posts” section in no time.
This caused an entirely new wave of comments to flood in.
However.
“I’m never sharing this.”
She had no intention of revealing the streamer’s name.
‘This is for me to keep.’
Why would she share such a hidden gem with everyone else?
A streamer who not only created custom drawings but also had a great voice and even chatted with her one-on-one?
That was more than enough to enjoy by herself.
Chuckling to herself, Yoon Harin grinned mischievously.
“Heh heh.”
The next day, Jaehun received a message from the person commissioning the album cover.
The artist’s name was Rage.
A quick search revealed that Rage was an R&B singer.
They weren’t particularly famous, though.
[Me: I’ll proceed as you’ve requested.]
[Me: I’ll also make sure to add my personal touch.]
[Rage: Sounds good.]
[ 🙂 ]
[Rage: Thank you in advance.]
“…This feels a bit like a scam.”
I’d drawn illustrations for a few people before when they said they were starting streams, only to find out later that most of them quit streaming soon after.
Maybe that’s why.
Feeling like I might be getting scammed again, I carefully reviewed the draft.
“Hm…”
It seemed like there were quite a few areas that needed adjustments.
With that in mind, I turned on the stream.
[The stream has started!]
Today’s stream would be dedicated to working on the album cover.
