There are two types of battlefields in Baeore.
The main battlefield, commonly referred to as the “human realm,” is where standard lane battles occur.
And then there is the Celestial Realm, where neutral monsters spawn and offer significantly more experience and gold.
This realm serves a similar function to the jungle, creeps, or mercenary camps in other games.
To access the Celestial Realm, one must first capture a shrine, because only by fully occupying a shrine will a one-person portal to the Celestial Realm open.
Thus, when the game begins, the first objective is to capture a nearby shrine and send one team member to the Celestial Realm.
Simultaneously, players engage in power struggles to claim control of the central shrine.
This is the fundamental structure of Baeore.
Once a teammate enters the Celestial Realm, they can freely move between it and the human realm through sanctuaries.
By performing so-called “ganks,” they support teammates in the human realm.
A gank from the Celestial Realm is a solid form of reinforcement in lane battles.
Winning skirmishes in the lane with the sudden arrival of an allied Celestial player creates a growth gap with the enemy.
That’s the very purpose of a gank.
However, if a lane starts to collapse before a Celestial gank can occur, it’s a disaster.
After all, ganks from the Celestial Realm are meant to support the top and bottom lane battles, not fix what’s already broken.

[(All Chat) PenguinMan (Warrior): I’ll keep dying until we surrender.]
[(All Chat) BestEver (Rogue): It hasn’t even been 10 minutes. Are we surrendering already? Are you serious?]
[(All Chat) PenguinMan (Warrior): nvm]
『See? After dying a few times, they start fighting with their own team.』
“You mean that was the plan all along? To make them fight like that?”
『Yeah. Warrior players who go top tend to be mentally weaker.』
- Gasp
- <<<<<< Top-lane warrior user
- That’s a direct hit lol
・So it wasn’t trolling, it was calculated? - The archer is insanely good
- “I can control my emotions” << famous last words
— Not human ;; - Maru’s psychological warfare is intense
When a serious breakdown occurs in the lane before a Celestial gank can happen, players often say, “The game’s already lost.”
If a Celestial player descends into the human realm after giving up their valuable growth time, only to find their laner already incapacitated for some reason, the gank becomes meaningless.
The Celestial player has wasted growth time, and the gap in the lane becomes too wide to recover, usually leading to a loss for the entire team.
This is why early-game stability is so crucial in Baeore.
It’s also why late-game-oriented characters like archers, who have minimal early-game impact, are often unwelcome.
If a character can’t contribute in the early stages, they’re seen as a liability.
Yet, Yuseoa’s archer was dominating the early game.
By utilizing the archer’s long range to constantly pressure the opposing warrior, she crushed their mentality until they ultimately gave up on the game.

“Wow… that guy’s really losing it.”
『The first time is the hardest, but once their mental breaks, they all end up like that. Especially warriors.』
“Why do you keep blaming warriors! He’s just a weird person!”
『Well… weird people are usually warriors.』
— Classic lol.
• That player might get banned
- Now I want to play archer
— Warriors really do have that tendency - Let’s rename the stream to “Taming Warrior Mains”
- Archers are really toxic~
- Archer’s range is insanely long? Are they always like that?
The situation didn’t change much after that.
The opposing warrior, having lost the will to fight, kept feeding kills, and our top laners turned into monsters.
Even without the late-game strength of the archer, the overwhelming growth of the top lane fully made up for it.
It was a reversal of the usual logic.
The archer, abandoning their late-game carry role and focusing entirely on early harassment, made a high-risk move that forced the enemy team to surrender.
[The opposing team has agreed to surrender: 5 votes yes, 1 vote no.]
[(All Chat) BestEver (Rogue): Someone report the warrior please]
[(All Chat) CarryPrincess (Priest): He could’ve just played safe instead of fighting and dying repeatedly smh lol]
[(All Chat) Bbadory (Mage): Guys, please report the warrior]
[(All Chat) PenguinMan (Warrior): Just file a death report on me instead]
“Yikes… that’s brutal…”
『Maru, you’re not exactly soft either.』
— hahahahahaha

And so, the first match ended in victory.
Back in Baeore’s lobby, Yuseoa calmly started replaying the game and explained her strategy to Yuseoyeon over Discord.
『Here, look at the 2-minute mark. The enemy warrior gets a small advantage in a fight and immediately uses a thumbs-up emoji. People like that are emotionally driven — they get even more upset if they lose to someone they once beat.』
“That’s true… People who spam emojis do seem to have fragile mentalities.”
Click click.
Clatter clatter.
『At 4:21, when he first gets hit by an arrow, he starts spamming question mark pings and instantly types in all chat. That means I’ve gotten into his head. From now on, his focus will be split between the nearby knight and me, way off in the distance.』
“Hmm…”
Clack clack.
Click.
『At 6:04, he’s returning to top lane and freezes after being hit by my arrow. Since he just stands there, he’s probably typing. Most likely arguing with the rogue on his team. From that moment, his mentality is beyond repair. Even after he comes back, he keeps flinching in the middle of swinging his greatsword.』
– Tap tap.
『7 minutes 11 seconds. See how the movements changed completely compared to when they made a profit at 2 minutes and showed an emoticon? That means the game isn’t going the way they want. They’re using movement skills just to retreat. Even the arc of the greatsword swing is slightly off. After dying again at 7 minutes 30 seconds, they finally open up completely. And all this is only possible because the archer is strong. Got it?』
– Professor, your explanation is too long.
Please stop… Please stop… Please stop… Please stop… Please stop… Please stop… Please stop…
– You broke their mental and are even recording it lol
– Gyaaaahhh
– Wait, why is the conclusion always “the archer is good”? lololol
– It’s not that the archer is good, it’s just that Maru unnie is really good at making people mad.
• Breaking news: Maru’s brain has shut down.
– If you don’t understand at all, massive upvote
“Ugh, ughh…”
Yuseoyeon let out a short groan at Yuseoa’s endless stream of TMI.
Honestly, she couldn’t understand half of what was being said.
She could vaguely grasp when the warrior’s mental state was shaken or when their fighting spirit was lost.
But once it was all put into words, it became impossible to follow.
Maybe this was just to fill audio time on the stream?
Did she take “Don’t let the audio go silent” to literally mean “not even one second of silence”?
Or maybe, Yuseoyeon just couldn’t understand Yuseoa’s explanations with her current brain capacity…
『Okay, now 8 minutes 5 seconds—』
“Uh, unnie. Stop. Let’s play the game first. At this rate, we’ll end the stream with just analysis!”
In the end, Yuseoyeon had to cut off Yuseoa’s long commentary.
Enough was enough.
People came to watch Yuseoa and Yuseoyeon duo-stream Battle of Legends, not to see a frame-by-frame replay analysis show.
And so, the second match began.
Again, Yuseoa picked archer, and around the 4-minute mark, headed top lane again.
And then—pew pew.
[BetterToAskForgiveness (Archer) – ExpiredMilk (Priest)]
[PushItForward (Warrior) – BetterToAskForgiveness (Archer)]
『Ah, the opponent’s celestial came down a bit early. But it’s fine. This lets our team’s top two and the celestial grow faster.』
“Th-that’s… fine, right?”
『I died, but it accelerated the growth of three others. Maru, you need to see the forest, not just the trees.』
– Giving advice after dying lol
– Our team’s rogue is crying right now.
– It was legendary how close the archer came to winning with a dagger.
– You guys play the game so hilariously lololol
Why do I suddenly want to play archer now?
– So this is how Maru unnie reached Emerald, huh? lol
The rest of the match followed a flow oddly similar to the first.
Due to Yuseoa’s constant pressure, the enemy top laners’ growth was gradually stunted, and eventually, the allied top laners pulled far ahead.
Naturally, when the teamfight at the central shrine started, they won.
Yuseoa’s archer may have been under-leveled, but the enemy’s knight and priest at top were even more so.
Crucially, Yuseoa’s archer, despite lacking in damage, kept landing crowd control with special arrows.
Even though the archer’s growth had stalled, her influence on the game couldn’t be underestimated.
[Blue Team has captured the Central Shrine!]
“I—I did it! We got the central shrine!”
――人人人人人人人人人
– That archer’s accuracy is insane ;;
— Maru, can you ask her why she doesn’t back off when the rogue comes in? Retry
– Maru unnie is just really good, honestly.
• Never seen anyone play archer this entertainingly
– Is it aimbot? Every shot lands; this is crazy.
After capturing the central shrine, the game proceeded normally.
Using the portal from the shrine, the archer went up to Heaven and gradually caught up in levels.
She farmed divine resources efficiently and even used her second ultimate, Divine Manifestation, at the right times.
As the level gap widened, the enemy team finally surrendered around the 20-minute mark.
[Victory!]
[BetterToAskForgiveness (Archer): GG, well played.]
“Wow… I just went 2 wins in a row with an archer.”
『Told you, archer’s good. Okay, so this match’s turning point was at 5 minutes and 11 seconds—』
“St-stop! Stop the TMI! I’m queuing again right now!”
– Damn
– That was awesome, Maru
– I actually wanna hear the explanation though
– Let’s change the stream title to ‘Getting carried by archer’ lol
• Can you explain the archer’s trait build?
– Dead from laughing lol
Then came the next match.
Again, the archer was picked.
Again, she roamed top.
The pattern felt predictable, but somehow the opponents still couldn’t counter it.
They got shredded by arrows from afar and lost lane hard.
Out of the 12 ranked players, the archer had the biggest influence on the match.
[Victory!]
“…What the…”
To an outsider, it just looked like casual or even troll play—but it wasn’t.
At this point, one might seriously suspect that archer was a good character.
Anyway, they’d just won three matches in a row as a duo.
Now it was time to interact with viewers.
To grow Yuseoa’s channel, building a connection with the audience was crucial.
“Let’s start talking with the viewers. How many people are on your stream?”
[LIVE) Archer is OP]
714 viewers
#BattleOfLegends
『Around 700.』
“Wow… I couldn’t even break 20 on my first stream… You’re really leeching off me properly, huh.”
Then Yuseoyeon told her sister to interact with the viewers on her own, and left the voice call.
They needed to create the feeling that the viewers were engaging directly with Yuseoa, not Maru.
But that didn’t mean the duo stream was over.
Yuseoyeon secretly stayed on the stream to watch, eager to see how her sister would interact.
A so-called “ninja stream snipe.”
This was to fully milk the great YouTube content that is a sibling duo stream.
Yuseoa’s first stream would definitely be great video material.
Or at least… it should have been…
“Okay, let’s see how well you can handle this—”
『Ah, thank you for the 5,000 won donation. What do I think of the current administration? Hmm… Well, in the recent power transition—』
“Uh, UNNIE!! UNNIE!!! STOP!!!!”
Not great content—just a near disaster within the first minute of “viewer interaction.”
With tension rising by the second, Yuseoyeon had to call her sister back in a panic.

『Politics, gender issues, religion—anything that shows up in the news is off-limits! Absolutely not! Just talk about the stream and Battle of Legends!』
“Ah, okay. Got it.”
