I clapped for a long time, then sighed in admiration once more for the writer’s ‘design.’
In truth.
The main reason I’d been following this webtoon so closely was because I’d recently donated 100,000 won to change the scriptures and alter history.
The ‘Journey Toward Erin Becoming a Saint’ was effectively over.
She’d already become a saint, someone who could hear my voice at any time.
‘So, was there really a need to spend money on her anymore?’
I thought that perhaps, for a while, there wouldn’t be a reason to make another big donation of 100,000 won.
Just performing small, reasonable miracles was easily manageable with a thousand-won punch.
Though I did make some small donations, hoping that Erin, as a saint, would be acknowledged and prosper among the people, that was it.
From the perspective of the artist, considering the effort it took to create the webtoon, a thousand-won punch probably didn’t even come close to covering the costs.
But if, right then, the artist had drawn a meteor and said, “If no one donates, the meteor will fall, and Erin will die! To prevent this, we need a force equivalent to a donation of XX thousand won! Please save Erin through donations!” What would have happened?
Even I would’ve felt frustrated by such an unreasonable plot and wouldn’t have donated – I might have stopped reading the webtoon altogether.
Of course, this work, from the moment I became a ‘god’ within it, had already thrown reason out the window, but still, having a meteor fall at a moment of deep immersion would’ve been obnoxious.
The writer, as a specialist in over-immersion, surely knows this as well as I do.
So, they introduced a new character.
Another character facing a trial that would require ‘the blessings of god’ – or rather, my donations!
New BM!
I never imagined I’d encounter a term like that – usually seen in games – while reading a webtoon.
Just then, a message from the artist appeared with perfect timing.

[MoneyPlease: Here is a short comic with a simple story about two Holy Knight candidates.]
[MoneyPlease: zxcwww.wo.to <<< Linnea von Einsberg / wwdzxw.wo.to <<< Ophel Aichel Transrente]
[MoneyPlease: Check it out and appoint the knight of your choice as a Holy Knight!]
They weren’t forcing me to donate right away.
But I knew that once I appointed someone as a Holy Knight, situations that would make me ‘itch to donate’ would start popping up, just like with Erin!
To be honest, I liked harem novels.
‘The more heroines, the better, right? Nothing wrong with that!’
‘Though I felt a bit sorry for Erin, it was for her protection – appointing a Holy Knight to protect her, so she wouldn’t mind if I indulged a little, right?’
‘Wait, am I seriously thinking that a comic character might feel hurt?’
Shiver!
Feeling a chill down my spine, I gulped down a cup of cold water.
The artist… a terrifying person…!

[Igogodon: Hahaha, you really designed the new BM well.]
[MoneyPlease: New BM? I’m not sure what you mean…]
[MoneyPlease: I’m simply reflecting the changing world according to your donations in the form of this webtoon.]
[Igogodon: Sure, if you say so, writer.]
[Igogodon: After all, the writer is the god of this world.]
[MoneyPlease: My goodness… Igogodon, please watch your words.]
[MoneyPlease: I’m merely an observer, while the one and only god of this world is you, Igogodon.]
Whew, better stop talking to them.
Instead, I clicked on the link the artist provided and checked out the comic.
They even organized it with separate links… their thorough preparation was on another level…
‘Haa.’
Finished reading the short comic.
In summary, here’s what I gathered about these two characters.
First, Ophel Aichel Transrente.
A typical knightly character with a deep sense of faith, excellent swordsmanship, and a cool tone of speech.
Her dream was to become a knight, and she had the talent for it.
Long red hair, flowing freely, and an imposing chest – both passed the criteria.
I liked red-haired, busty knight characters, so I wanted to give her extra points for her hair color and figure.
After the saint’s birth, instead of the smooth path she could have pursued, she proved her sincerity by saying, “I will dedicate everything to the one and only god, Igogodon.”
That moment was quite satisfying.
Her biggest flaw, however, was that she was a bit of an airhead.
Her common sense slightly missed the mark compared to others, and she seemed easily deceived – the kind of character you’d want to help.
‘Isn’t that a common trope?’
If I choose Ophel Aichel, there would be a fun challenge in guiding this less sharp-minded girl to become the best knight.
Sometimes, things would likely go well by accident, leading to those classic, satisfying misunderstandings like, “Lady Ophel Aichel, did you know this would happen…?!”
Some might find it childish, but since I enjoy those kinds of stories, I felt like giving her extra points for that.
Next, I checked out Linnea von Einsberg.
Originally, she wanted to become a mage but, realizing her lack of talent, she pursued the path of the sword.
She had long blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes that symbolized royalty.
Perhaps due to extra attention to the art, I thought her face was even prettier than Ophel Aichel’s.
Only one thing – her chest was a bit smaller than Ophel Aichel’s… though fans of balanced proportions might prefer her.
Judging by the story, choosing Linnea seemed advantageous politically, favoring Erin and the religious faction.
Rather than having two massive powers constantly clash, a compromise within a reasonable boundary would likely be the right political choice.
Her biggest issue was her lack of devotion.
The only reason she was aiming to become a Holy Knight was, “The royal family needs influence within the church.”
In reality, she was practically a character forced into the church by the royal family – a tragic destiny, to say the least.
In the story, she would even say things like, [There is no god. I’ll survive somehow without relying on that nonsense], emphasizing her lack of faith.
If I chose Linnea, there would be some enjoyment in using donations to corrupt her into faith.
Each miracle happening before her eyes, at first dismissed as coincidence – but as they pile up, she would inevitably face situations that could only be explained by the existence of a god, maybe even saving her life in one of those moments.
Faith corruption!
‘Would she not become the most devout Holy Knight, idolizing me?’
Both choices tempted me to donate!
And just in case I didn’t like them, they seemed equipped with max-level knightly charms and royal appeal.
‘I like how obvious their intentions are.’
Whether their intentions were obvious or not wasn’t the main issue.
Truthfully, the characters weren’t what I was focused on.

[Igogodon: I’ve seen them both]
[Igogodon: They’re both pretty… hehe]
[MoneyPlease: Is that so? I’m relieved. I chose women who seemed likely to suit your taste, Igogodon.]
Women that suited my taste, huh.
The writer is so shamelessly blatant with their word.
[Igogodon: But I’m curious about something.]
[MoneyPlease: Please, ask away, Igogodon.]
Even though the two new characters were charming enough as the writer said…
Still, one undeniable fact remained.
[Igogodon: Cecilia brought three photos, remember?]
[Igogodon: But why are you and Cecilia only emphasizing two of them?]
[Igogodon: Is there a reason for that?]
Exactly.
The photos Cecilia showed Erin, saying, “They are Holy Knight candidates,” were indeed three – meaning three candidates.
Aside from Ophel Aichel and Linnea, there was clearly a third candidate.
Yet, neither the writer nor the characters in the story paid any attention to the third candidate, only mentioning the other two.
It made sense for Erin, as she didn’t even look at the photos and just prayed to me, but shouldn’t someone have mentioned it?
Honestly, I could guess why.
Looking at the photo, I thought I understood why they hadn’t mentioned her.
With plain black hair tied in a simple ponytail, an average face, and a modest chest.
Instead of flashy, beautiful armor that emphasized her figure, she wore plain, featureless armor.
A background character.
That word suited her best.
Perhaps the writer hadn’t even drawn her part in advance?

[MoneyPlease: Well…]
[MoneyPlease: If you’d like to confirm, Igogodon, I can certainly show her to you.]
[MoneyPlease: But it may take some time for observation. Is that okay?]
So, they hadn’t prepared her in the comic yet?
I suddenly felt lazy and considered just choosing one of the two…
‘No.’
Being selected as a Holy Knight candidate in the story must be an achievement on its own, so wouldn’t it be unfair if I, as the “god,” didn’t give it due attention?
I chuckled at my own over-immersion, but decided to just go with it.
[Igogodon: Send it over.]
[MoneyPlease: Understood. I’ll be back shortly. Please wait a moment.]
Wait? I thought that if they had to redraw the comic, it wouldn’t be ready until the next day.
Surprisingly, the writer sent a link in just ten minutes.
[MoneyPlease: axcqwz.wo.to <<< Here it is.]
‘What? Was it already drawn?’
Then why didn’t they show it right away?
I felt a bit of unease, but my curiosity overtook it, and that feeling vanished without a trace.
Carefully, I clicked on the link to the comic about the third knight candidate that no one had mentioned.
