NTR is a slang term referring to a situation or genre where one’s lover is taken away by someone else.
It is a genre commonly found in games and doujinshi.
Though I have no idea why it’s so popular, it has undeniably been well-loved for a long time.
That being said, it’s also a genre that many people absolutely despise—perhaps the most divisive genre out there.
In fact, it’s widely agreed that there are more people who dislike it than those who enjoy it.
And yet, ironically, I ended up playing a game centered around this genre.
[This Hero Gets Stolen Easily!]
A ridiculous game title that practically reeks of NTR.
I played it.
Not because I had a particular liking for NTR—far from it.
In fact, I wasn’t exactly a fan, just like most others.
‘Then why did I play it?’ Simple curiosity.
I saw people in online communities suffering emotional damage, spitting blood in frustration, and yet unable to stop playing.
That alone piqued my interest.
What kind of NTR game had such a large, active community? Why was it so popular? I had to find out.
And then—
“I’m screwed. That was the inevitable conclusion I reached after much deliberation. I am completely and utterly screwed.”
I realized that this game was actually my past life.
Or maybe I had been possessed and thrown into the game world.
Either way, it didn’t change the fact that all the heroines had already been stolen, and I—well, I had long since devoted both my body and soul to one of the game’s boss characters: the Succubus Queen.
Unbelievable. Truly.
