Beep beep beep, beep beep beep~!
After turning off the phone’s alarm, the screen reflected a sleepy face.
The moment she woke up, Jiang Sui instinctively thought about hurrying to the Company, only to realize a moment later—
“I don’t have to go to that place anymore.”
Even if she wanted to, she couldn’t. Now, she was a maid at the Luo Family Manor.
Scratching her somewhat messy ashy-brown hair, Jiang Sui lifted the covers and got out of bed, heading to the mirror to change clothes.
After removing the only piece of clothing on her upper body, her ample, snow-white “bunnies” bounced free, her full chest gently rising and falling with each breath. Every time Jiang Sui saw them, she always felt a bit unreal.
Following her slender waist down, two long, straight legs stretched out below her navel. No matter where, her fair skin glowed with a pearly sheen.
I’ve really turned into a woman. And not just any woman, eighteen years old, curvy in all the right places, a beauty even I can’t help but be tempted by.
The drastic change still left her unable to accept it; deep down, she still felt like a man.
Even if her appearance was cute, it didn’t matter. After all, it was just a tool to increase Lu Yunze’s favorability. Yes, that’s right, focus on the inside, not the outside.
That said, every time she put on the maid outfit and slid those glossy black stockings up her beautiful long legs, Jiang Sui couldn’t help but mutter:
“I’m a man, I’m a man, I’m a man… This is just work, this is just work…”
Watching her fair thighs gradually get wrapped in black, making her legs look even more slender and long, was honestly enough to get anyone’s blood pumping.
If even I feel tempted, there’s no way Lu Yunze won’t like it.
Once she finished dressing, she looked at the maid in the mirror and pinched the corner of her mouth, revealing a vibrant smile.
“Yes, that’s the expression.”
Lively girls are always more likable.
“With a face like this, using it as cannon fodder for a villain is such a waste.”
Jiang Sui wasn’t really into reading novels; she’d only picked up that book because a friend recommended it.
To this day, she still remembered how that friend complained about the story—clearly aware of how bad it was, but unable to stop reading, which made Jiang Sui curious enough to give it a try.
Just as her friend said, “Moonlight Smile, Heart Entranced” was full of plot holes and absurd twists. Jiang Sui’s blood pressure soared while reading it, and she spent the next day at work thinking about the story.
But Jiang Sui wasn’t someone who liked masochistic stories. After just a taste, she completely lost interest in continuing, only occasionally paying attention to online discussions.
So, for the mid-to-late plot, she only knew a little, and that was from Netizens. She didn’t even know exactly how “Jiang Sui” died in the story. Judging by the male lead’s ruthless nature later on, it was probably a tragic end.
But what does that have to do with me?
Since I’ve transmigrated, I’m going to change this ending.
“Lu Yunze, my dear Young Master, you’d better not have any woman besides me.”
After practicing a gentle yet cold smile in the mirror, Jiang Sui left the bedroom. After washing up, she headed out.
“I know Madam Liu’s passing has made everyone sad, but work must go on. Everyone, pull yourselves together!”
The one speaking was the gray-haired Butler. After Liu Nüshi passed away, he became the head of the servants.
“Those who clean, go clean. Those who cook, go cook. If Miss Luo wakes up and sees the Manor still a mess like yesterday, she’ll think the Luo Family can’t afford to hire cleaners!”
Jiang Sui blended in with the other servants, echoing the Butler’s commands—at least, she mouthed along.
At times like this, she always felt a strange sense of déjà vu, as if she were still at her Company in her previous life, gathering with colleagues in the morning and listening to the boss make empty promises.
Only green newcomers would get fired up by this. People like her, used to being PUA’d by their bosses and working overtime without pay, couldn’t muster any feelings at all.
Once the morning meeting ended, the servants immediately got busy. Jiang Sui turned to leave, but the Butler’s voice sounded from behind.
“You, the new one, wait a moment.”
Jiang Sui stopped in her tracks, thinking, Did he notice I was just mouthing along?
“What’s your name again?” The Butler scratched his head, as if racking his brains.
“Jiang Sui.”
“Oh, right, right, Jiang Sui.” The Butler took a deep breath and lifted his chin. “You’re new here, so just follow my orders and do as I say—don’t go bumping into Miss Luo. And don’t complain. This is how it is being a servant. Compared to some hard-to-please folks, Miss Luo’s already considered gentle.”
“I understand.”
“For now, go to the storage room and get a broom and dustpan. Go clean the corridor on the third floor of the Manor.”
“Alright.”
Cleaning the corridor sounded like a simple job.
But this Manor had over a dozen servants and was absurdly huge. What sounded easy was, in reality, anything but.
At least, after Jiang Sui grabbed the tools and reached the third floor, her steps involuntarily paused when she saw that long corridor.
So long, so wide. Even the corridors at my old Company weren’t this wide.
“Anyone else would probably complain, right?”
Jiang Sui was different. She’d done dirtier and more troublesome work than this. Cleaning was a piece of cake to her.
Letting out a heavy breath, Jiang Sui got to work right away. As she cleaned, she also quietly listened for sounds behind each room’s door.
The Manor had three floors, not counting the attic. The second floor was for the servants, while the third floor was where the Luo Family and distinguished guests lived. Right now, only two people lived on this entire floor.
It was still early, so Lu Yunze and Luo Yao were definitely still sleeping—just finished a week of classes, and they’d gone to bed late last night.
Speaking of which, which room was Lu Yunze’s?
Every time Jiang Sui passed a door, she’d eavesdrop for a moment, but they were all quiet. Unless she opened the doors, she had no way of knowing who was inside.
If she wanted to overturn her doomed ending, she had to start with Lu Yunze. Take the heroine’s path and leave the heroine with nowhere to go.
Morning was a critical time—the mood in the morning could affect a person’s whole day.
I wonder how Lu Yunze slept last night. Did he use his blanket properly? If he felt cold, I could consider warming his bed—he’d probably be so moved he’d cry.
Jiang Sui’s enemy was Luo Yao, who had the triple BUFFs of childhood friend, white moonlight, and heroine, while she herself was just an unremarkable little maid.
The gap was huge—a massive disadvantage right from the start. To win Lu Yunze’s heart, Jiang Sui would have to resort to extraordinary means.
Take even better care of him than Luo Yao, pamper him, fulfill his every request. As long as it boosted his favorability, Jiang Sui was willing to go all out.
Of course, all this was just to survive in the end. Jiang Sui had no intention of being killed by Lu Yunze, nor did she want to actually become his lover. Just thinking about dating a man was disgusting.
Even if she had to starve or jump off this Manor, Jiang Sui would never truly fall for Lu Yunze!
Time waits for no one. After quickly finishing the corridor, Jiang Sui didn’t even rest before running back to the Butler.
“What, you’re done already?” The Butler looked shocked, even checking his watch.
He had reason to suspect Jiang Sui had slacked off, but the sweat on her face and her slightly rushed breathing didn’t look like someone who’d been lazy.
“Alright then, I’ll go check later. If you did a good job, I’ll praise you in front of Miss Luo. But don’t think finishing this level of work is amazing. You haven’t seen the Main House yet—that’s the real cleaning challenge…”
There he goes again. Jiang Sui kept up her obedient act, just like a truly well-behaved maid. Finally, when the Butler stopped rambling, she immediately said, “On my way here, I saw the kitchen needed help. Can I go?”
The Butler’s lips curled up slightly. “Of course. Haven’t had such a diligent servant in a long time. Work hard, and when Miss Luo rises in the family, she won’t forget to help us out.”
“Is that so? I’ll look forward to it then.”
Pretending to look forward to it, Jiang Sui headed straight for the kitchen.
Of course, they didn’t need extra hands here. But if she didn’t put on a show in front of the Butler, how could she explain herself to the kitchen staff?
“What, Miss Luo wants a change of taste?” The head chef raised an eyebrow.
“Yes, so I’m here to help.”
“Can you cook?”
“I can, and I’m pretty good at it. If you don’t believe me, you can ask the Butler—he agreed to let me handle it.”
Jiang Sui kept a smile on her face, not letting a single flaw show.
The busy head chef didn’t have time to check on such small matters and just gave her a couple of reminders before getting back to work.
The moment he turned away, a sly glint appeared in the girl’s eyes.
With access to the kitchen, she could finally show off her skills.
“If you ask what can make someone’s morning better, of course it’s a hearty breakfast.”
She picked up a kitchen knife, her fingers gently brushing the blade. The blurry reflection of her violet eyes on the blade shimmered with light.

Not sure how to feel about her completely taking over the heroine. Especially since the heroine for now seems good natured.
Like surely seduction isn’t the only way. She could easily leak that the family was the one who killed his parents and even give him hints from what she could remember.
