Chapter 27: The Sister-in-Law’s Deception  

“Chi Yingyu, I don’t think I need to strip completely!”  

Jiang Lai felt a pair of fair, jade-like hands encircle her waist.  

The softness behind her pressed against her like water.  

She struggled in panic, wanting to shrink into a corner.  

But how could Chi Yingyu give her brother-in-law any chance to escape?  

Her hands tightly gripped Jiang Lai’s waist.  

No matter how she tried to dodge, there was nowhere to go.  

Sensing the beauty in her arms wanted to flee, Chi Yingyu held her even tighter.  

“I absolutely won’t allow any errors.  

Only a perfect fit for your figure will prevent it from slipping off if too big or squeezing if too small.  

I won’t let you ruin your beautiful body, brother-in-law.”  

Chi Yingyu’s words sounded sincere and earnest.  

Her concern seemed entirely for Jiang Lai’s current physical condition.  

It was reminiscent of how she used to strictly monitor her meals for her health.  

This familiar feeling made Jiang Lai’s instinctive resistance fade.  

She gradually became compliant, turning her head slightly to confirm softly, “Is it really like you said?”  

“Of course, I know best about this.”  

With her sister-in-law’s assurance, Jiang Lai fully entrusted herself to her.  

Chi Yingyu looked into her brother-in-law’s eyes.  

Those dark eyes seemed startled, glistening with a hint of moisture.  

Her gaze was pure, innocent, yet so capable of stirring madness in others.  

Chi Yingyu couldn’t help but swallow hard.  

Her hands on Jiang Lai’s waist tightened instinctively, tempted to slide downward.  

Jiang Lai felt her sister-in-law’s fingers slowly tracing along her waist.  

They glided toward her thighs.  

Chi Yingyu’s fingertips were tender, delicate, and soft, with a slight coolness.  

All of Jiang Lai’s attention was on those fingers.  

The cool touch made her focus even more.  

Wasn’t this about undressing?  

Why were her hands wandering everywhere?  

“It’s a bit cold…”  

Her sister-in-law’s heavy breathing behind her was noticeable.  

Jiang Lai could feel Chi Yingyu’s hot breath hitting her ears, making them burn.  

Just as Chi Yingyu teetered on the edge of losing control, a crisp knock interrupted the fitting room’s intimate atmosphere.  

The knock brought Chi Yingyu back to her senses.  

Her mood was clearly displeased, her slender brows furrowed, her lips pressed into a thin line.  

The staff’s voice came from outside, full of concern.  

“Miss, are you both okay in there?  

Do you need our help?”  

Chi Yingyu knew this wasn’t the time to take advantage of her brother-in-law.  

Though her heart was melting with desire, she had to restrain herself.  

Her expression shifted quickly, returning to her usual icy demeanor.  

She coldly responded to the staff and began seriously measuring Jiang Lai’s dimensions.  

“Brother-in-law, should we weigh you when we get back?”  

Chi Yingyu had a hunch, but seeing the precise measurements confirmed reality.  

Not a single ounce of excess flesh was out of place.  

Her brother-in-law’s figure was flawless, as if crafted meticulously by a divine hand, without a single imperfection.  

Chi Yingyu felt a growing sense of crisis.  

This wasn’t about others but because Jiang Lai’s figure was too perfect.  

If she felt lonely or craved intimacy, she could simply admire herself in the mirror.  

Imagining Jiang Lai gazing at herself in a mirror, Chi Yingyu found it not unacceptable.  

It might even be more alluring, letting her see just how captivating she was.  

After measuring, Chi Yingyu went to pick out fitting bras.  

Jiang Lai stayed obediently in the fitting room, reflecting on what had just happened.  

She buttoned up her shirt and cracked the fitting room door open.  

Watching Chi Yingyu select bra styles for her, she felt a mix of emotions.  

She couldn’t pinpoint her feelings.  

Since becoming a woman, her sister-in-law’s behavior had grown bolder.  

Especially just now, touching her thighs.  

Jiang Lai pondered and realized something different about Chi Yingyu.  

Could it be that her sister-in-law didn’t like men but women?  

That would explain why she never sought a partner or had any romantic rumors.  

Gazing at Chi Yingyu’s tall, graceful figure bustling in the store for her, Jiang Lai thought further.  

If her sister-in-law liked women, with her beauty and excellence, many women would surely agree.  

People are drawn to better things, especially someone as perfect as Chi Yingyu.  

Jiang Lai wondered if she, herself, was holding back her sister-in-law’s happiness.  

Perhaps Chi Yingyu feared her disapproval of her liking women, hiding her true feelings.  

Jiang Lai felt she’d grasped the full truth, a knowing look on her face.  

She’d need to find a chance to show her stance—she wasn’t a stubborn old fool.  

From the start, she only wanted Chi Yingyu to find her own happiness.  

Whatever she liked, whatever she did, as long as she was happy, that was enough.  

While Jiang Lai thought about how to express her position, Chi Yingyu returned with several bras, knocking on the fitting room door.  

Slipping through a crack, she entered quickly.  

The staff watching nearby smiled helplessly.  

The tiny fitting room seemed like a secret base for the two, off-limits to outsiders.  

“Brother-in-law, I picked a few.  

Do you like them?”  

The bras Chi Yingyu chose were beautiful, adorned with delicate lace trim, even a bit seductive.  

Jiang Lai found them lovely but wondered if they were too ornate for daily wear.  

Perhaps they had a hint of sensuality.  

Hesitating, she considered her dignity and face, avoiding crude thoughts.

“But these are normal, brother-in-law.  

I wear them too.”  

Without removing her high-neck sweater, Chi Yingyu teasingly lifted its hem.  

In a fleeting moment, Jiang Lai glimpsed the black fabric underneath.  

Startled, she grabbed Chi Yingyu’s hand to stop her.  

But that brief image burned into her mind—the fabric’s curves, faintly visible, sparking endless thoughts.  

Her heart raced, the scene lingering vividly.  

She tried to focus, but the image wouldn’t fade.  

Chi Yingyu’s playful act had stirred something deep within her.

She sighed softly, deciding to trust her sister-in-law’s judgment.

Maybe these bras were practical, despite their allure.  

Jiang Lai nodded slowly, agreeing to try them.  

Chi Yingyu’s face lit up, pleased with her compliance.

The company incident with Si Yina had left her wary.
