When the sun rises, hope floods the earth with the dawn. The Big Thunder Girl stretched lazily, as if a beautiful day was dancing on her chest.
In simple terms: the sky cleared, the rain stopped, and Xu Chuyao felt back in top shape. Although the inhuman “treatment” she endured last night was still fresh in her memory, after a night’s sleep, she no longer felt any pain when recalling it.
She might even say it was a little enjoyable… Ahem, pure girls donโt talk about that.
โGet up! Oh right, Xiaolu, I have to serve as the lead interrogator this morning to question those three prisoners we captured yesterday. You go to class by yourself.โ
Mi Xiaolu replied with a simple โ1,โ meaning she was going to lie down a bit longer.
โYoung people these days, seriously, too fond of sleeping in. Why canโt they be like meโearly to bed, early to rise, a healthy young lady!โ
Said Xu Chuyao, who had gone to sleep early not by choice, but because she was too exhausted from the โbeatingโ and didnโt even play on her phone.
There were several messages on her phone calling her to the office building. Not wasting time, Xu Chuyao washed up, put on a clean and pure college-girl outfit, had a simple breakfast, and headed straight there.
Yu Jing greeted her downstairs. Normally dressed casually, the homeroom teacher was surprisingly in formal wear today.
โThereโll be a lot of people present today, including school leaders. But theyโre just observers this timeโyouโre the star.โ
The star, huh? But Iโm playing the villainโs role. Still, villain or not, Xu Chuyao didnโt actually want to wreck the world like those true bad guysโthat would make her own life miserable.
Better to just target the heroine.
As they walked upstairs, it was clear this interrogation was a big deal. School leadership had arrived early, and Xu Chuyao recognized many familiar faces. By โfamiliar,โ she meant those who gave mind-numbing speeches at the opening ceremony.
โEveryoneโs here already,โ Chuyao muttered. โI took a little longer because of breakfast.โ
She really seemed to be the last to arrive.
Yu Jing didnโt scold her for being late. Instead, she asked, โDid you sleep well last night?โ
โPretty well,โ Chuyao answered immediately. โDidnโt play on my phone, went to bed early.โ
โVery good,โ Yu Jing nodded approvingly.
Not playing on the phone and sleeping early meant she was serious about today. Sleeping well without anxiety showed a strong mental state.
What Yu Jing didnโt know was what her two students had actually done last night. If she did, she might revise that judgment.
The interrogation room was large, but the three clowns were kept in a small dark room behind a glass wall. On the other side of the glass sat the schoolโs leadership, guests from other schools, and high-ranking administratorsโmost appearing via video screens on the wall, just like the last conference.
Long Jun, head of the security department, still occupied the biggest video feed in the center. When he saw Xu Chuyao enter, he nodded at her:
โNow that the lead interrogator is here, letโs begin.โ
With that, all eyes turned to her. Under their various expressions, Xu Chuyao walked slowly to the center. A public desk stood there, with a microphone to communicate with the clowns and a chair reserved just for her.
The sunlight streamed through the window. With a low murmur, the girl opened her eyes, a wine-red glow flickering in her pupils.
โMorning already… So it was a dream.โ
Of course it was. If it wasnโt a dream, why couldnโt she clearly see what her hands were doing?
Shen Ning had a dream. It felt incredibly real, probably because of what happened last night. In the dream, she once again pinned Xu Chuyao to the bed. The difference was that this time it lasted longer, had more steps, felt even betterโand Chuyaoโs moans were even cuter.
The only downside was that she couldnโt see what she was doing. The effects were great, though. Dreaming, she thought maybe Chuyaoโs large chest was blocking her view. Only now did she realizeโit was a dream.
Unless the system’s Reflection function could help inside dreams, she just couldnโt visualize it. Shen Ning glanced at the single remaining [1] Achievement Point and had this random thought.
Noโshe had realized it already. Tactical combat support cost Achievement Points. But for things related to grass-like Xu Chuyao, the systemโs Reflection always popped out automatically.
She sat on the bed to gather herself, about to get upโthen suddenly remembered she needed to change her panties. In the dream, Chuyao had accidentally made a mess on them, and the thought had stuck with her the whole timeโฆ
Wait, could a dream affect reality?
Lifting the blanket, she lookedโand sure enough, there it was.
All Xu Chuyaoโs fault. She was the one who made a mess.
Half an hour later, Shen Ning arrived at the morning study classroom. As soon as she entered, she saw Little Snow giving her a sly wink.
โI stayed up all night digging through old newspapers and found some really juicy stuff.โ
Some spent the night dreaming, others spent the night gathering intel. Judging from his energized expression, Shen Ning knew he mustโve found something shocking.
Xu Chuyaoโsenior student at Ascension Spirit Academy, Main Capital Division. Exceptionally talented, she had shown remarkable analytical ability in handling special incidents. As commander of a special task force, she completed her first mission with zero casualties, wiped out the enemy, and even captured three prisoners.
Everyone present had read this lead interrogatorโs file many times. The Ascension Spirit Academy leaders were all smiling. To them, interrogating three unimportant prisoners (who likely didnโt know much anyway) wasnโt the real point. The real highlight was their student sitting thereโfront and center.
Meanwhile, the others watching remotely had more complicated feelings. Xu Chuyaoโs accomplishment was great, sure, but it was only one mission. Maybe she just got lucky. Also, she had been directly appointed commander, unlike students from other schools who required teacher or leadership approval. There wasnโt even a control group for comparison. What if their students could have succeeded as well?
Then again, these were just idle thoughts. Next time, they still wouldnโt hand over command to a student.
โWell then,โ Xu Chuyao sat at the desk, rested her cheek on one hand, and said sweetly, โLetโs get started~โ
The three clowns, tied up behind the glass, stared at the Big Thunder Girl with complicated expressions. This sweet and innocent-looking girl had been seen as an easy target yesterdayโa hostage to grab.
Little did they know, those tiny pink fists of hers would become the last straw that crushed them.
Now, trapped like beasts in a cage, they heard her say:
โLetโs start with the basics. Who are you, and where are you from?โ
