The night was as cool as water, and the sound of rustling leaves drifted through the villa.
A shadow darted silently into the night, stealthily slipping into the house.
In the living room, Xu Yinsheng casually popped two milk tablets into his mouth.
Nestled in a large teddy bear’s arms, he was watching a comedy on the LCD TV.
The silly interactions between the male and female leads made him clutch his stomach in laughter.
His pleasant, melodious laughter echoed through the quiet living room.
A man’s voice.
Suddenly, the phone on the sofa vibrated.
Xu Yinsheng picked it up—it was a call from Zhao Yicheng.
Once connected, a deep and pleasant voice came through:
“Xiao Yin, I’m outside. Open the door.”
What’s he doing here in the middle of the night?
With that question in mind, Xu Yinsheng picked up the tablet and opened the villa’s internal door monitor.
Luckily, his gender-swap time for the day had passed.
Otherwise, he wouldn’t dare let Zhao Yicheng in.
Ever since “Xu Ying” had been “kidnapped for a date” by Zhao Yicheng half a month ago, he had holed up at home for another half-month.
His long absence made the other rich playboys in their social circle think that young master Xu had finally gone straight.
Suddenly, a cry of surprise rang out.
“What? You want me to cross-dress?”
Xu Yinsheng stared in astonishment at the man sitting steadily on the sofa like Mount Tai.
After not contacting him for half a month, the first thing he asked was for him to cross-dress—as his female companion for a social event.
Zhao Yicheng rubbed his nose awkwardly.
“This gathering is for couples only—only couples can enter. One of my major clients will be there, and it’s related to a multi-billion deal. But I’ve been focusing on my career for years and haven’t developed anything in the romance department.”
“Come on, bro, help me out.”
Zhao Yicheng grabbed Xu Yinsheng’s hand.
“If I land this deal, I’ll give you an apartment in the city center, and we’ll throw a party with a bunch of girls.”
“Honestly, you’d be better off picking up a girl off the street. Who knows, it might even be true love. That’s how it always goes in those CEO romance novels,” Xu Yinsheng said, shaking his head. As a homebody, all he wanted was to binge dramas, drink soda, and enjoy the last bit of time he still had in his male form.
Besides, the event would be full of elite professionals—and he had a bit of social anxiety.
“Fine,” Zhao Yicheng said unexpectedly. He stretched out his hand.
“Then lend me Xu Ying.”
Xu Ying?
The corners of Xu Yinsheng’s mouth twitched.
Good grief, Old Zhao—after all this roundabout talk, you still have designs on your bro’s girlfriend?
“She’s out shopping, not home. And even if she came back now, it’d be too late.”
“Then it still has to be you.”
Zhao Yicheng stood up and started giving him a massage.
“This is my first big deal since returning to the country, bro. Cross-dress and help me out, yeah?”
Xu Yinsheng’s cheeks warmed.
He wanted to refuse, but then thought about the billion-yuan deal and muttered weakly:
“But… I don’t even have any women’s clothes.”
Zhao Yicheng picked up the briefcase he brought, smiled mysteriously, and shook it.
“I brought them.”
Then Xu Yinsheng saw him pull out an entire set of extremely cute girls’ clothes.
A big lacy dress, knee-length and just enough to show off beautiful legs under the skirt, leaving room for plenty of imagination.
The dress was made of white chiffon, smooth to the touch.
Its inward-folding design perfectly wrapped the chest and shoulders.
Delicate details adorned it—frilly princess-style ruffles on the neckline and short sleeves, overlaid with wide lace trim.
The ruffles were studded with round pearls, making the outfit incredibly luxurious.
At the waist, a wide silk ribbon tied into an elegant bow at the back, its long tails dragging on the ground.
The upper edge of the waistband sat just below the chest, while the puffy skirt made the whole look charmingly petite and cute.
The accessories included a narrow, long ribbon tied in the hair, and a lace choker adorned with a bright white rose at the neck.
Paired with ten-centimeter-high white lace-up boots, the outfit was stunning.
“You, you…”
Just imagining himself wearing this outfit made Xu Yinsheng blush with embarrassment.
Was it too late to regret now?
Cross-dressing really was way too humiliating.
“Originally, I bought this for my future girlfriend, but I didn’t expect to use it so soon.”
Zhao Yicheng gave a mysterious smile and pulled out a pair of pink lacy sheer women’s underwear, a glossy black wig, and a pair of small, plump padding inserts from his bag.
Xu Yinsheng trembled slightly as he lifted his hand, pointing at the cute dress.
He opened his mouth as if to speak, but Zhao Yicheng grabbed his hand firmly.
Holding that small hand tightly in his own, Zhao Yicheng looked sincere as he said:
“Xiao Yin, my multi-billion deal depends on you. You have to do your best.”
“I…”
Xu Yinsheng wanted to say something, but his throat tightened.
Under the weight of those earnest black eyes, he couldn’t get a word out.
In the end, he just nodded heavily.
Knowing the fish had taken the bait, Zhao Yicheng picked up the outfit and coaxed him gently:
“As expected of my bro. Come on, let me help you change.”
“I’ll change by myself.”
With that, Xu Yinsheng clutched the outfit and dashed into the bathroom.
Watching his friend’s slim—even slightly delicate and feminine—back as he disappeared, Zhao Yicheng recalled a conversation from half a month ago with a man in white:
“You’re saying people in that circle all like cross-dressing?”
“No, they experience a mismatch between their gender identity and biological sex, often accompanied by deep emotional distress and a desire to change their biological sex. Psychological therapy is one form of intervention for gender identity disorder.”
Seeing Zhao Yicheng’s sharp and concise gaze, the man in white coughed lightly and added:
“In simpler terms… yeah, they like cross-dressing.”
In the spacious, luxurious bathroom, the misty steam made a fine layer of moisture form on Xu Yinsheng’s cheeks.
Standing before the mirror, he took off his pajamas and looked at himself clearly.
His soft, slightly long black hair fell across his shoulders.
His complexion was pale as jade, and his figure had gentle curves.
A very cute… boy.
Looking at his reflection, then at the frilly dress, pads, and wig in his hands, a bitter smile slowly formed on Xu Yinsheng’s face: “If only I could gender-swap right now, it would be so much more convenient.”
Suddenly, a wave of heat surged through his body.
His vision blurred, and the world around him seemed to shift and realign. Instinctively, he braced himself against the wall.
After a few moments, she shook her slightly dazed little head and looked up again. In the mirror stood a petite girl with fair, tender skin.
“Xu Ying?”
“No… this is me.”
Xu Yinsheng noticed that the face in the mirror wasn’t quite like Xu Ying’s—a face with a bit of a seductive, bad-girl vibe.
No, this was his own face—only much softer and more feminine.
“Whatever. I’ll get dressed first.”
She tossed the padding and wig into the trash.
Unlike the frustration and gloom that usually came with gender-swapping, this time it felt surprisingly well-timed.
Her heart held less aversion toward the transformation—and even a touch of joy.
Moments later, the little dress was on.
Xu Yinsheng looked at herself in the mirror.
Wearing the lacy little dress, her skin appeared even more delicate and alluring.
Especially those two soft mounds, almost bursting out of the dress, stretching the fabric to its limit.
Her fair arms and snow-white legs were completely exposed.
She hooked a finger under a silky strand of hair at her neck.
“Damn… so beautiful. Why isn’t she my date?”
