However, the Esper matched with him was Kang Taewoo, the ‘monster’ who had never recorded a matching rate of more than 5% with any other Guide. Due to a lack of guiding, Taewoo was covered in red veins all over his body; for a staggering eight years, Sowon could neither approach him nor properly guide him.
