“I’ve been lecturing you for so long, but you’re still like this.”
Emilia looked at Leinata, who was still full of worry, and gave a helpless expression.
“I understand everything you said… but I can’t help worrying about her. You have no idea how important Nuo Ai’er is to me.”
Leinata gripped the red hooded cloak wrapped around her.
This was the first gift Nuo Ai’er had given her in that forest… and the very first gift in her life.
So for Leinata, not worrying about Nuo Ai’er was impossible.
Actually, Emilia understood that part too. After that heart-to-heart talk, Nuo Ai’er had become someone very important to her as well.
But she still couldn’t grasp Leinata’s feelings.
“I don’t know what you’ve been through, but does Nuo Ai’er really have that much influence over you, to make you care this much—”
“Eh?!”
As Emilia spoke, she noticed Leinata’s short blade had already left its sheath.
“Don’t. Say that. In front of me.” Little Red Riding Hood’s voice was flat, and black mist seemed to billow around her.
“Nuo Ai’er is my hero. She saved me. I won’t let anyone question that—”
“I didn’t mean it that way…” Emilia said quietly.
Leinata paused, but quickly realized she was overreacting. She held herself back and sheathed the blade.
“Sorry. That was rude.”
“There’s something I want to say, but I’m not sure if I should… I think you’re a little… hmm, too intense.” Emilia squinted as she spoke.
“What do you mean?” Leinata asked.
“Ah, never mind… I mean, don’t be so tense. We don’t know when Nuo Ai’er will come back.”
“That’s exactly why I have to be ready at all times. In case she falls from the sky, I need to catch her.”
“How could she fall from the sky…” Emilia didn’t even know where to start with that.
But actually, after a game ends, she does reappear beside Leinata. If that’s the case, falling from above was not entirely impossible.
And then, the very next second Emilia thought that…
“Ughhhh…!”
A portal appeared in the ceiling.
A little white-haired girl on a white horse fell from above, landing precisely in Leinata’s arms.
Leinata: “…?”
Emilia: ∑(o口°a)
Nuo Ai’er: “Uuooh…”
Wait, she really did fall from the sky!
“You’re back…” Leinata let out a sigh of relief, then hugged Nuo Ai’er. “Good to have you back…”
“Nuo Ai’er… Eh?!” Emilia was startled.
Because right after Nuo Ai’er, another little pink-haired girl dropped down…
So what happened…
Hello everyone, this is Feng Xue.
I’m sorry for updating so late tonight. I kept writing and deleting, writing and deleting. I was mostly deliberating and finally made a decision.
The more observant of you may have noticed: almost the entire Hui Mei arc has been rewritten.
That’s right, I got a warning, ugh…
That was my fault. I chose a risky theme—little sister…
I didn’t expect the clampdown on little sister content to be this strict lately. Forget lewd scenes—even writing something as innocent as “cuddling” gets axed…
A lot of the sweet moments between Nuo Ai’er-chan and Hui Mei-chan earlier were cut.
But for things even more intense than cuddling—like the punishment session in this chapter and the main story of Hui Mei-chan later on—it’s practically impossible to avoid.
Today’s punishment session is also… let’s just say it surpasses even the scene where Sister Yilike disciplined Little Fuluo in the tentacle girl arc (old readers should know what I mean).
Ah, back then the rules were looser.
If I wrote it now, this book could be in danger.
After careful thought, if I keep writing like this, I won’t be able to achieve the original effect in many places…
So after much deliberation, I decided to activate [Made in Heaven], accelerating the flow of time.
In other words, skipping the third Dungeon…
Time picks up right after the previous chapter. After learning that the female lead of this chapter is Hui Mei-chan—the true identity of the “little sister” in the dungeon—Nuo Ai’er was taken for punishment.
In Hui Mei’s bedroom, she was pampered by Hui Mei-chan for 67 hours.
She experienced every kind of gameplay. And because Hui Mei-chan wouldn’t allow Nuo Ai’er to die, every time Nuo Ai’er was about to die, Hui Mei healed her with black mist—not just physically, but mentally too.
So Nuo Ai’er couldn’t completely break down, nor could she die, and she couldn’t trigger a time rewind. Plus, Hui Mei’s black mist made Nuo Ai’er feel no pain—only pleasure.
Thus Nuo Ai’er hovered on the edge like that for three days until she finally had Xs in her eyes. (Sad)
But during this punishment session, she got a key piece of information: when Hui Mei sleeps with Nuo Ai’er, she can sense wherever Nuo Ai’er goes, because she’s very sensitive to people leaving her side.
The rewind point was when Hui Mei asked if Nuo Ai’er wanted to sleep together. This time Nuo Ai’er chose to sleep alone, then snuck out at night, went to the storage room behind the first door on the second floor.
After searching, she found the key to the second door. Opening the second door, she discovered…
Diaries part two and three.
Parts two and three told the story of Hui Mei meeting a green-haired little girl witch—from the same Witch Council as Wei Ran.
The witch promised Hui Mei she could experience what it felt like to have an older sister, but she would take a price: she would rob Hui Mei of several things.
Hui Mei still agreed. She was truly desperate for even a moment of happiness.
Nuo Ai’er searched but couldn’t find the key to the third door. To avoid arousing suspicion, she returned to the bedroom.
Over the next six days, the rules stayed the same, but each day Hui Mei would tell Nuo Ai’er what time she’d be back.
The times were: 8 PM, 9 PM, 6 PM, 5 PM, 9 PM, 8 PM, and 7 PM.
These seven numbers were the code to the refrigerator safe. She needed to survive all seven days to get the full set.
That was the combination to the safe inside the refrigerator. Using Grandma’s jade bracelet to block the refrigerator’s black mist, she could open the safe.
Inside the safe was a box, two keys, and a cloth doll with no arms or legs.
One key opened the box. Opening it would allow her to clear the dungeon directly, judged as escaping the house—a normal ending.
(You couldn’t leave through the front door; this was the correct escape route.)
The other key unlocked the third door on the second floor…
After realizing all this over those six days, Nuo Ai’er opened the third door.
“You found me, big sister~”
Behind the door was Hui Mei, the little sister’s true body. She was wrapped in bandages, had no arms or legs, and was tied to a witch’s chair.
This was the price the little sister had paid: she had sacrificed her soul and part of her body to the witch. The witch had remodeled this world bubble, turning Hui Mei’s mother into a mechanic boss and this house into a game arena.
At this point, Nuo Ai’er achieved the good ending—surviving seven days and learning Hui Mei’s truth.
But now that Nuo Ai’er had discovered the truth, black mist filled the house. A door leading out appeared beside Hui Mei.
Hui Mei wanted Nuo Ai’er to leave. Her soul had already been given to the witch—there was no saving her.
She was thankful to Nuo Ai’er. Even though Nuo Ai’er was a sister she had never met before, these seven days had been the happiest days of her life.
But Nuo Ai’er didn’t do that. After reading all the diaries, she resolved to save Hui Mei. She resolutely threw herself into the black mist already rampaging through the house.
Nuo Ai’er rewound time once more, back to the second day. She realized that the so-called false rule wasn’t about the little sister—because Hui Mei truly liked her.
And combining that with the need to open the refrigerator to reach the normal ending, she understood: [Don’t open the refrigerator or the trash bags] was the real false rule. She just needed Grandma’s jade bracelet to block the black mist.
The jade bracelet had five charges. This time Nuo Ai’er used one charge to open the refrigerator, and knowing the password, she unlocked the safe.
She retrieved the key and the incomplete cloth doll. Then she went to the trash bags in the bathroom, spending 4 durability to open four bags. Inside were the doll’s bloodstained limbs.
This doll was Hui Mei’s body, which she had paid to the witch. Nuo Ai’er brought these to the third door.
Hui Mei couldn’t understand how Nuo Ai’er had done it.
Then the doll’s power sent Nuo Ai’er back in time.
Back to Hui Mei’s miserable childhood. This time Nuo Ai’er truly acted as an older sister, protecting Hui Mei, staying by her side, filling the wounds.
Little by little, she pieced the incomplete cloth doll back together.
Finally, when they returned to reality, Hui Mei’s body was fully restored.
Nuo Ai’er decided to take her by the hand and bring her back.
Perfect Ending [Redemption of Sister] achieved.
But at that moment, the green-haired little witch appeared, saying everything was going according to plan.
She was the witch who had been plotting against Wei Ran’s new disciple. After observing Nuo Ai’er’s performance in Little Red Riding Hood’s dungeon, she found it extremely suspicious—Nuo Ai’er should have died countless times.
Moreover, the fact that Nuo Ai’er had accomplished all this despite having no talent surprised her.
So this perfect ending was actually a trap she had set for Nuo Ai’er. The entire third game was a setup for her.
There was no way to know the final password without surviving seven days.
Even ignoring the information issue, normally the jade bracelet’s durability wouldn’t be enough.
To uncover the little sister’s truth, she would have to investigate the second floor at night and lose durability, leaving insufficient charges for both the refrigerator and the four trash bags.
Yet Nuo Ai’er had achieved it all—clearly unreasonable.
The witch said she was about to guess Nuo Ai’er’s truth.
After the witch left, the world was on the verge of collapse.
Nuo Ai’er carried Hui Mei and escaped from this crumbling world.
Ending the game this way is entirely my fault for not being careful…
I shouldn’t have written about little sisters.
As compensation, I’ll be doing heavy bonus updates for the upcoming daily arc and witch arc, um…
Again, I’m sorry.
cut content in the original instance about little red riding hood? that’s a shame if so… the curiosity’s gonna kill me
