Chapter 5: As Expected, Nothing Beats a Maid Outfit

Just as Rafina didn’t know what to do, the door was suddenly pushed open from the outside.

Rafina was startled.

She quickly threw off the covers and got out of bed.

Beside her, Ni Wei also opened her eyes and crawled out of bed, looking like she hadn’t woken up yet.

“Good morning, you two.”

Florin smiled as she entered the room.

Behind her, two maids each held a neatly folded bundle.

“These are your new uniforms. The tailor shop stayed up all night to finish them. Try them on and see if they fit.”

Rafina took the bundle and unfolded it.

It was a classic black-and-white maid outfit, with several layers of delicate lace trimming the hem.

Though the design was simple, Rafina could tell from the feel of the fabric alone that this maid uniform was made of quite expensive material.

“This is… too exquisite.”

Rafina held the maid outfit, almost unable to believe it.

Back when she worked at the tavern, the so-called “uniform” she wore was just a coarse cloth apron.

Rafina took a deep breath and began putting on the maid outfit.
