The Yin and Yang Qi changed direction within Lu Li’s body.
His originally calm features instantly became soft and enchanting.
The loose male robes now hung loosely on his frame.
With a flick of her long hair, Lu Li’s initially plain smile was instead accentuated to the point of infatuation.
“Is this Lu Li?”
“That person who appeared in male form?”
“No, I saw her female form at the hot spring. She truly is a celestial maiden descended to earth…”
“I really don’t like this form, but it’s quite convenient when facing Senior Sister Shen, who’s lost her senses.”
Lu Li looked at her shrunken fingers, tightly grasped her clothes, and walked toward Shen Zhaoxue, whose gaze was now hazy.
Her own spiritual root inherently possessed the ability to charm.
So, under the circumstances where the other party was delirious and unable to resist,
the power of the spiritual root, mixed with her divine sense, enveloped Shen Zhaoxue.
“Come, Senior Sister Shen. Be good and open your mouth.” Lu Li crouched down and took out a pill from the jade pendant.
“I…” Shen Zhaoxue’s body trembled, her eyes vacillating between confusion and clarity.
“Eat it. This is a Qi-Gathering Pill, a higher-grade medicine than Nourishing Qi Pills~” Lu Li’s voice was gentle, like a mother soothing an angry daughter.
“Eat it, and everything will be fine.”
Lu Li extended her hand, and a green pill rolled slightly in her pale palm.
“Don’t eat it, Senior Sister Shen!”
“If you eat it, you’ve lost!”
“But I feel… what that Lu Li said actually makes some sense…”
“Hang in there. Isn’t this just the charm technique that any of us can use?!”
While the crowd below was in an uproar, above on the high platform, Murong Shuang’s face was ashen.
“Su Wanqiu, you’ve taught a fine disciple.”
“He grew up in Hundred Immortals Town; it’s inevitable that he’d pick up some martial world habits.” Su Wanqiu said this, but her joy was evident.
“That said, his position as Saintess should be no problem now, right?”
“I think there’s a problem. He didn’t use the sect’s cultivation technique, only relying on his Charm Spiritual Root.” Murong Shuang frowned as she watched Shen Zhaoxue open her mouth, chew the pill, and swallow it.
Clearly, this competition was lost.
“In terms of results, this disciple named Lu Li has indeed succeeded.” Cheng Suwen wore a kind smile as she joined the conversation.
“I think we can take this opportunity for the elders to discuss and revise the rules of the Grand Tournament.”
“How would we revise them?”
“Too many restrictions actually hinder the disciples from understanding the dangers of the Immortal Realm.” Cheng Suwen explained.
“Having a disruptive force like Lu Li is actually quite good.”
“Hmph…” Murong Shuang stared at Shen Zhaoxue, who was now regaining her senses.
Just thinking about how her own disciples had been nearly wiped out in this competition made her heart bleed.
“And Senior Sister Su, I noticed that Lu Li’s expression was normal under Shen Zhaoxue’s pressure earlier. She’s clearly at Qi Refinement Layer 12.” Cheng Suwen glanced at the other elders who were murmuring among themselves.
“Besides, since she has just turned into a woman, why not send her to the Three-Faction Trial? What do you think?”
“So soon?” Su Wanqiu looked at Lu Li on the arena.
“She hasn’t even learned many magic techniques yet.”
“To buy time, we can hold a Saintess Enthronement Ceremony. That’s a very important matter for our Yin Yang Sect, isn’t it?” Cheng Suwen gave a faint smile to the two of them.
“Although our sect is listed as one of the three, we are in a precarious position. Having a Saintess like this can at least salvage some face.”
“That is indeed something that should be done… but that Lu Li…” Murong Shuang let out a long sigh.
“Senior Sister Cheng, aren’t you usually teaching disciples in the alchemy room? Why are you so interested in the Saintess Enthronement Ceremony this time?” Su Wanqiu countered.
“Because your disciple asked for many waste pills and gave them a very interesting use.” Cheng Suwen looked at the many disciples chatting below.
“I’m very much looking forward to her development… and the sight of our Yin Yang Sect’s male-turned-female disciple appearing in front of everyone.”
“Not to mention, she probably doesn’t know what she’ll have to do at the Enthronement Ceremony…”
Up on the platform, the situation was changing; down below, the disputes continued.
“Senior Sister Jiang, as previously agreed.” Lu Li looked at Shen Zhaoxue, who had regained her senses.
“You shouldn’t have forgotten.”
“I’m not someone who goes back on my word.” Shen Zhaoxue took a deep breath, wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth, and knelt on both knees.
“I, Shen Zhaoxue, hereby apologize to Jiang Yuebai and Lu Li for what happened earlier!”
“I was previously bullying others and full of prejudice… Now I realize that, compared to my junior brother, I am inferior in every aspect…” Shen Zhaoxue lowered her head again, a faint bitter smile forming at the corners of her mouth.
“As compensation… I will give you my Nourishing Qi Pills for the next three months.” Shen Zhaoxue raised her head again.
“For this half-month, you can command me as you wish…”
“Senior Sister Shen…” At this, the other female disciples below covered their mouths in surprise.
“This is my decision.” Shen Zhaoxue looked at those female disciples.
“I will bear the consequences of my own promise.”
With that, Shen Zhaoxue turned to Lu Li.
“Ah…”
She had thought that her twelve years of cultivation and practice of magic techniques would certainly surpass this Junior Brother Lu.
But he had defeated her. Even if it was using martial world tricks, he still defeated her.
Not to mention…
“Since Senior Sister Shen has already apologized.” Lu Li chuckled lightly and clapped her hands. “Then the most important agreement should also be fulfilled.”
“Yes… the loser must become the winner’s cauldron and serve for half a month.” Shen Zhaoxue raised her head, looking at Lu Li, who now had a smile like a blooming flower and hands gently clasped.
The lingering reluctance in her heart vanished.
As a woman, she had even lost in appearance.
“But… it doesn’t seem so bad.” Shen Zhaoxue gazed at the profile of the gorgeous girl in the sunlight.
She murmured softly.
The Monthly Grand Competition ended amidst discussions about Lu Li.
However, Lu Li, the ultimate victor, was sighing deeply.
“Senior Sister Lu, you got first place, so why aren’t you happy?” Qing Luo, with a mischievous grin, held out a ru skirt and handed it to Lu Li.
“Isn’t it obvious? I have to wear women’s clothes again.” Lu Li resolutely plunged her male robes into the wooden bucket.
“Senior Sister Jiang, I’ll have to trouble you to help.”
“It’s only right.” Jiang Yuebai’s expression was calm.
“As for your plan, it was really good. Making me pretend to spit blood so Senior Sister Shen would think you used up all your pills.”
“Just part of the plan.” Lu Li, guided by Jiang Yuebai’s instructions, put on clothing she was not used to again.
“But anyway, in three days, I’ll recover.”
“Speaking of that.” Jiang Yuebai hesitated for a moment as she tied the belt behind Lu Li.
“There’s something, Junior… Senior Sister Lu, you need to understand.”
“What?”
“Every time we circulate our cultivation technique, the time we spend in female form increases by three days.” As Jiang Yuebai spoke, Lu Li’s smile froze on her face in the mirror.
“So this time, you’ll have to remain in female form for a full six days.”
