‘This is killing me.’
The cold from the curse was finally driven back by body heat and holy light working together.
But following that was a sticky, clammy feeling; she had just broken out in a cold sweat.
The holy light and nature’s force were washing back and forth inside her body, and now her skin felt like it was coated in a layer of icing, her clothes sticking to her. It was uncomfortable.
Yisela stirred in Seraphina’s arms, reached up to tug at her own collar, and muttered quietly.
“It’s so sticky, I want to take a bath.”
Seraphina looked down at her, reached out and felt the back of her neck; it was indeed damp.
She and Sylvanas exchanged a glance.
“Let’s take a bath,” Seraphina said in a very soft voice.
Her fingers slid through Yisela’s sweat-dampened hair roots.
“You’ll feel much better after washing.”
Sylvanas had already stood up, her tone still carrying that hint of disdain.
“Who’s been tormenting you!”
“It’s obviously you who won’t leave, you trash elf!”
“Alright, alright,” Seraphina laughed and scooped Yisela up from the bed.
Yisela instinctively wrapped her arms around her neck, her legs coiling around her waist; she hung onto her like a koala.
Seraphina carried her toward the bath pool, with Sylvanas following behind. She casually removed her hairpin, and her silver-green hair cascaded down like a waterfall onto her shoulders.
The bath pool in the Temple was much larger than imagined.
Several fragrant herbs floated on the water’s surface, and the air was filled with the mixed scent of lavender and other herbs.
Seraphina set Yisela down on a cushion by the pool and turned to test the water temperature.
Her hand skimmed across the water’s surface, and holy light seeped from her fingertips into the water, filling the entire pool.
Sylvanas leaned against the edge of the pool and had already begun untying the sash of her outer robe. Her dark green robe slipped from her shoulders, her movements casual yet graceful.
“What are you looking at?” she glanced at Yisela.
“Who’s looking at you!” Yisela quickly averted her gaze, her cheeks betraying her with a blush.
Her clothes were soaked with sweat, and when she tried to take them off, the collar got caught on her dragon horn.
Yisela tugged several times but couldn’t get it off. Just as she was about to pull hard, Seraphina’s hand stopped her.
“Don’t move, let me do it.”
She bent down, her fingers gently tracing the curve of the dragon horn, and with a light turn, the collar slipped free.
When her fingertip brushed the base of the horn, Yisela shivered all over. She suddenly covered her own horn and shouted, her face red.
“Don’t touch that!”
Seraphina blinked in surprise, then her eyes curved into a smile. She gently brushed the back of her hand against Yisela’s burning cheek. Then she stepped into the pool first, turned, and reached out her hand to Yisela.
“Come on, let big sister hold you while you wash.”
Before Yisela could talk back, Sylvanas let out a scoff from the pool.
“Can’t touch it? Back then in the Dragon’s Nest, in our arms, who was it that asked to have the base of her horn touched and said it felt good?”
“Th-That was a mistake! It was a side effect of the curse!”
Yisela stuck out her neck indignantly, took Seraphina’s hand, and slid into the pool.
The warm pool water reached her waist, then her shoulders.
Seraphina leaned against the wall of the pool, letting Yisela rest her head on her chest.
The hot water brought a faint pink flush to Yisela’s skin.
Yisela’s head sank into that soft, voluptuous curve. She was doubly enveloped by the warmth of holy light and the gentle touch, and her cheeks burned again against her will.
Seraphina’s figure was the kind of fullness nurtured by years of holy light.
Now, soaking in the hot water, the soaked bath towel clung to her body, and that generous silhouette could no longer be hidden.
“Don’t move around, first get used to the water temperature,” Seraphina said softly in her ear.
Sylvanas, without anyone noticing, had moved next to her. She pulled Yisela’s arm over and began to wipe it.
The Elf Queen’s physique and the Holy Maiden’s were two completely different types of beauty.
Seraphina had a sacred, dignified feel, like warm jade nurtured by holy light.
Sylvanas, on the other hand, was tall and athletic, her limbs slender but with smooth, powerful muscle lines.
Her soaked silver-green hair hung over her chest, the tips just covering the crucial parts.
Her size was also not inferior to the Holy Maiden’s, but due to years of drawing a bow, it appeared firmer, with the tightness and elasticity unique to elves.
“Old woman, be gentle! You’re going to rub my skin off!” Yisela’s arm was turning red from her rubbing.
“If the skin rubs off, that’s fine. It’ll grow a new layer.” Sylvanas’s tone was cold, but the force in her hand lightened a little.
When she wiped the inside of her upper arm, her body leaned forward slightly, accidentally pressing against Yisela’s back.
It was a completely different sensation from Seraphina’s—also large, but firmer, with the resilience unique to elves.
That weight transmitted clearly through the soaked thin fabric, and Yisela froze completely, even the words of cursing stuck in her throat.
Seraphina’s fingers were massaging the base of her horn, lathering it with lavender-scented soap, white foam sliding down her silver hair.
“The base of the horn needs to be washed clean, otherwise the scales will become inflamed.”
Her fingertips gently made circles, that tingling sensation spreading from the base of the horn to the back of her neck, then down the spine all the way to the tip of her tail.
Every time she leaned forward slightly, that softness pressed more closely against Yisela’s back.
That full weight formed a strange contrast with Yisela’s slender back, and these two completely different sensations were magnified several times in the water.
Yisela’s shoulders unconsciously relaxed.
“It tickles! I said no touching my horn!”
“Be good, once the foam is rinsed off, it won’t tickle.”
But her fingers kept circling around the base of the horn, movements so gentle that it made the dragon’s scalp tingle.
Yisela bit her lip and endured for a while, but finally couldn’t hold back.
“I can wash it myself!”
To prove she could manage on her own, she struggled out of Seraphina’s arms, grabbed the soap bottle beside her, squirted it onto her head, and worked up a big mound of white foam on top.
“See? I, this princess, can do it myself.”
Before she could finish speaking, a blob of foam slid down her forehead into her right eye.
A fiery, stinging pain instantly exploded. She covered her eyes and thrashed in the water, her tail whipping around like a propeller.
Seraphina frantically grabbed her and pulled her into her arms.
Yisela’s entire face collided into Seraphina’s chest.
She instinctively tried to struggle free, her hands pushing forward wildly.
She subconsciously pressed down twice more. The moment her fingertips sank in, a very soft, suppressed grunt came from above her head.
Seraphina’s body stiffened slightly, and the fingers she had pressed against the back of Yisela’s head unconsciously tightened for a moment.
That grunt was very low, as if forcibly swallowed by its owner, but in the quiet pool, everyone heard it clearly.
