When did I lose my sense of pain?
Li Chi had forgotten.
Ever since he obtained this power and became the Amazon Omega variant, his body had begun to undergo gradual changes, subtly evolving toward the inhuman side.
It wasn’t becoming a creature like the Amazons, nor a superhuman with special powers, nor a monster spawned by this world.
But a monster without pain, with super-strong recovery, and strength far beyond ordinary people!
As the owner of his body, he could clearly feel that he was getting farther and farther from “human” now.
But he still had human emotions, human thinking, human senses.
He still had family—a cute little sister, a respectable father, and a gentle mother, as well as a warm home that was always open to him.
So, he wouldn’t become a true monster—at least not now!
Before that, everything that could harm his “home” must disappear!
Those anti-humans had already become his must-kill targets.
He had once witnessed a near-murder case.
A man, facing an anti-human that was half-Husky half-human in appearance, initially regarded this unremarkable “Husky monster” as dangerous.
But when the other party just stared at him without making any moves, the man relaxed his vigilance.
Then, the man had half his body gnawed off by that anti-human…
Fortunately, Li Chi arrived in time while the man still had a breath left, efficiently taking down that anti-human, and incidentally sending the man to a hospital specially run by magicians.
The man ultimately kept his life, but he knew nothing about that terrifying memory.
It was said that the human brain would delete some unacceptable information when the host’s emotions were too agitated, causing temporary amnesia.
Perhaps that was the case for that man.
In a sense, it could be considered a blessing in misfortune.
Li Chi couldn’t imagine—if he hadn’t arrived, or if he’d been a few seconds late—that man would probably have to say goodbye to his family forever.
Death was often a heavy topic, especially in this world—those who died peacefully would happily go to the underworld, but those who died in pain, their souls would wander the human world.
As a member of this world, Li Chi would never allow such things to happen!
He knew well the efforts humanity had put into shaping this society into a utopia! It absolutely couldn’t be destroyed by those viruses!
And he just happened to have the ability to counter those anti-humans—since that was the case, why not do something about it?
The owner of that tragic memory might not have been a good person, but Li Chi was absolutely a foolishly kind person who would give everything for the sake of beauty!
His character was noble, his personality was kind—for his “home,” he could give everything.
To put in so much effort yet gain nothing—perhaps that gray anti-utopia world that volatilized human ugliness to the extreme would mock him like that, but this world never would!
As for that memory, that anti-utopia-like world, he never cared—although from the information he learned from Black Dragon, it could be inferred that it was also one of the myriad worlds, with the possibility of traversing there—but he had never had such a thought.
Because that was just a memory like a movie—it wouldn’t change his thoughts, nor would it change his humanity.
He was born here, he grew up here, he studied here, he ate and played here—only here was his home!
Therefore, to protect his true home, Omega began his year-long hunt of those anti-humans!
During this period, he had at most dealt with some magicians, and his connection to the underworld was only superficial.
It wasn’t until recently that he was officially incorporated into the Dark Organization, becoming an honorable villain.
The current Li Chi—that is, the Dark Organization’s supernova executive Dark Fang—was currently being scolded by his senior, “Punishment Lady” Lina.
“Hey! Did you hear what I just said! Don’t play dumb with me! Let me tell you, you need to catch up on this whole social etiquette thing! From now on, no doing things that make people lose SAN in places with people around! Did you hear me!”
Lina looked furious, her cold and glamorous face still wearing an expression of disgust and revulsion.
She suppressed the churning in her stomach while giving this clueless junior a lesson.
“Yes, Senior! Understood, Senior! No problem, Senior!”
Watching Li Chi’s triple nod like a model student, Lina suddenly felt an inexplicable sense of satisfaction in her heart.
Today was another day of being a student to a senior (being a teacher to a junior).
The two thought at the same time.
