Eleanor slept soundly—it was the most restful sleep she’d had in the past five months.
Before she knew it, the defenseless young woman had drifted all the way into the evening.
She’d only planned to sleep until noon.
Normally, she wouldn’t sleep that long, but between the late nights and the constant running around, both her mind and body were worn out.
Most importantly, though, it was the rich jerk’s bed that made the sleep so comfortable.
Compared to the hard board bed in Ainola’s dormitory, Anderson’s goose-down bed was practically a succubus.
Once you got in, without a will of steel, there was no getting out.
Add in the faintly cool ice magic circle running in the room, and she simply didn’t want to wake up.
It was like being outside in the dog days of summer while the room had the AC set to seventy degrees.
Who wouldn’t succumb?
Anyway, Eleanor couldn’t resist that kind of temptation.
Even when she was almost awake, she deliberately rolled over and kept sleeping.
Anderson had finished his tasks for the day and returned to the bedroom.
As soon as he pushed open the door, he said in confusion,
“That’s weird. No one’s in the room, so why is the ice magic circle running?”
Puzzled, he turned on the light and discovered a large lump under the blanket on his bed.
“Huh?”
Anderson walked over suspiciously and found that bold nun Eleanor sleeping in his bed.
There was even a bit of drool at the corner of her mouth—she looked kinda cute.
But Anderson couldn’t help twitching at the sight.
Now he understood one thing: Eleanor wasn’t just unafraid of authority—she was also a bit too familiar.
Would a normal girl just sleep in someone else’s room?!
Anderson held his head and sighed, then pushed Eleanor’s body through the blanket.
“Hey, wake up, you lazy nun.”
Hearing Anderson’s call, Eleanor finally woke from her dream.
She hadn’t slept so deeply in a long time.
So when she opened her eyes, she felt great—no grogginess, just a look of confusion.
Eleanor wasn’t flustered at all seeing Anderson.
Just like before, she figured giving a little bit of a treat wasn’t really losing out.
It felt like holding back before an outburst—endure a little, and the payoff would be even sweeter.
With that mindset, Eleanor rubbed her eyes and said to Anderson,
“What… what time is it?”
“Seven in the evening, dear Sister. You sure have a lot of nerve. This is my room, and yet you sleep this soundly? Or do you really think I’m some harmless little lamb who doesn’t eat meat?”
Anderson tried to scare her into being more careful with her behavior.
He could tell now—this nun had no sense of distance with anyone.
She was a genuine, overly familiar pure girl.
Everyone who worked with her got along well.
She treated everyone with that same closeness, so Anderson had to make her raise her guard.
“I’m still a man, you know. What if I just had my way with you right now?”
Eleanor couldn’t help laughing inside at Anderson’s utterly unthreatening words.
‘You?’ she thought.
‘Do you even have the ability?’
If Anderson actually had that ability, Eleanor might have been more restrained.
But he didn’t.
So she was incredibly bold, just careful not to show it.
Pretending she was still half asleep, she said to Anderson,
“I’ve known you for a week now, Chief Justice. I have full confidence in your character.”
That wasn’t a lie.
Eleanor knew Anderson too well.
No one understood this good-hearted prince better than she did.
“If you were going to do something to me, you’ve had plenty of chances before, haven’t you?”
Eleanor said with an innocent smile.
“You wouldn’t have let me stay this long.”
“Ah, well…”
Anderson was momentarily speechless.
He really hadn’t expected Eleanor to trust him so much.
But even so, he shook his head.
“People’s hearts are hard to read. Some people act one way in front of you and another behind your back. Their mental state might change from day to day. What if one day I lose control and take you? Then what?”
“I’ll just deal with it then.”
Eleanor pulled the blanket up a little, her cheeks flushing.
“To an ordinary person like me with no background and no power, my body is the only thing I can offer. If you, Chief Justice, really want it… I believe you’ll take responsibility.”
As she spoke, her blushing face sank into the blanket, then she peeked out with her big, watery eyes like a girl experiencing her first crush.
The sight was enchanting.
Combined with Eleanor’s unresisting words, it would be the most potent aphrodisiac for any normal man.
Anderson had to admit that Eleanor looked beautiful like this—like a tempting green apple that made you want to take a bite.
But the problem was…
He’d been given a stomach-weakening curse by that scumbag princess.
He could only look; he couldn’t do anything to Eleanor.
Even if he got carried away and dove into the blankets, once he pulled it out…
Soft and floppy~
What a blow to a man’s dignity.
The thought made Anderson seethe with rage.
He swore that someday, he’d make that scummy princess taste some payback.
What Anderson didn’t know was that Eleanor was already laughing hysterically inside, barely keeping her expression straight.
She knew Anderson couldn’t do anything to her, so she was acting completely reckless.
Anderson took a deep breath, calmed his restless heart, and said to Eleanor,
“Anyway, it’s seven in the evening now. Get up first.”
“Well…”
Eleanor’s face showed a bit of embarrassment.
After a long silence, she stammered,
“I have a habit of sleeping in the buff.”
“Huh?”
Anderson froze.
Then Eleanor repeated,
“So… so, Chief Justice, could you please step outside for a moment?”
“…”
Anderson understood.
He seemed to understand everything.
Under Eleanor’s gaze, the young man silently walked out of the room.
Now, staring at the ceiling, he seemed to be questioning his life.
Meanwhile, inside the room, Eleanor was stifling her laughter, pounding the pillow repeatedly.
Her delicate face was nearly contorted from holding it in.
She never imagined that messing with Anderson would be this fun—especially the expression on his face when she said she liked sleeping naked…
It was absolutely delightful~
