“Hmm… Hmm?! Huh?”
Pa!
A small white hand slammed heavily onto the table.
The blonde girl directed a terrifying expression toward the white-haired girl sitting across from her.
“What on earth did you write?!” Cecilia bared her teeth at Luo Shuangyue.
“Uh, it’s just a small ceremony to witness the pure love of two Magical Girls,” Luo Shuangyue chuckled twice, her gaze flickering away.
The Vice Minister’s aura was so overwhelming that it made her a little afraid.
“Small? You’re going to blow up the Moon, and you’re telling me this is a small ceremony?” Cecilia pointed at the largest stars marked in Luo Shuangyue’s plan and offered a heartfelt suggestion.
“How about you move the venue further away? Don’t go scaring the ordinary people on the surface.”
It wasn’t that she was forbidding Luo Shuangyue from doing it, but she felt the location should be moved further out.
This current plan to directly blow up seven moons just to add to the atmosphere was simply too terrifying. It would traumatize children.
“That’s why I’m informing the ordinary people in advance not to worry about the commotion in the sky. I think everyone will want to see such a massive fireworks display,” Luo Shuangyue argued.
She wasn’t just acting recklessly; her plan clearly detailed the countermeasures.
By promoting it one or two weeks in advance, the ordinary people on the ground would definitely know about it, so it wouldn’t cause any panic.
Instead, everyone could happily enjoy this giant fireworks show. It would be wonderful.
It was a way to showcase the magnificence of magic to everyone while simultaneously deterring any potential enemies on the surface—killing two birds with one stone.
“Even if there are many reasons, making such a huge scene isn’t good,” Cecilia sighed, rubbing her brow in distress.
This matter was truly a bit too large, involving too many variables.
If anyone else had brought this request to her, she would have already delivered a sharp chop to their head.
Unfortunately, the person submitting the proposal was Luo Shuangyue.
Even if the entire Magic Department pooled their strength together, they likely wouldn’t be as powerful as her alone.
What else could she do? She had to find a way to satisfy Luo Shuangyue’s requirements.
“It’s good for things to be a bit lively! Vice Minister, I promise this plan won’t cause any major issues!” Luo Shuangyue raised her right hand solemnly and made a vow.
“I’ll cover the advertising costs for the television broadcasts. I’ll make sure every single person in the world knows it’s just a magic performance. I absolutely won’t cause trouble for the Magic Department!”
Technically, Luo Shuangyue herself didn’t have much money. After all, she lived on a fixed salary from Eternal Night.
However, her mother was incredibly wealthy.
After saving the world back then, White Night’s status was effectively that of the world’s uncrowned king.
She had passively acquired a vast amount of wealth, to the point where she didn’t even know some of the things belonged to her.
When she helped Monice establish Eternal Night, White Night had used her own private stash of funds.
Now, as a mother who loved her daughter, she naturally didn’t mind contributing to her daughter’s wedding.
Cecilia looked at the signature at the very end of the proposal and leaned her head against her hand, letting out a resigned sigh.
Luo Shuangyue had even brought her mother into this; how could she possibly refuse?
Fine, she would approve it.
“Alright, but make sure things don’t get too out of hand. Do you understand?”
“Understood! Vice Minister, you can rest 100 percent assured!” Luo Shuangyue patted her chest in guarantee.
For some reason, seeing Luo Shuangyue guarantee it so confidently made Cecilia’s heart tighten.
‘Can I really trust this promise?’
With Cecilia’s reluctant consent, Luo Shuangyue quickly began her grand plan.
The publicity could wait until later. Her first goal was to anchor a location in the Starry Sky to serve as the venue for the ceremony.
Choosing a site wasn’t difficult. Out of a sense of local sentimentality, Luo Shuangyue quickly chose the sky directly above Xinghai City and hammered down the first Space Anchor there.
Afterward, using her reputation, she called in several experienced Magical Girl and Transhuman designers to begin designing the ceremony venue. However, the various requirements she proposed made even these veteran designers, who had handled many ceremonies, feel their scalps go numb.
“Your idea is practically equivalent to creating an artificial biosphere, and it has to operate smoothly in the Universe…” A Magical Girl designer chewed on her pencil, casting a resentful look at Luo Shuangyue.
“I think you need to get those research people over here for this job.”
You couldn’t expect a bunch of liberal-arts-inclined designers to solve a world-class problem that even the science-inclined people hadn’t figured out.
“If we were just using magic to simulate these things, we could do it easily. But you want physical objects, and there’s just no way around that,” another Magical Girl agreed.
It wasn’t that they were taking the money and refusing to work, but Luo Shuangyue’s demands were truly too outrageous.
It was completely beyond their capabilities.
“I see. If it really can’t be done, then we’ll just have to use a magic simulation,” Luo Shuangyue sighed with some regret.
Just then, a Transhuman designer suddenly spoke up. “I don’t think it’s impossible!”
“Oh? Let’s hear it.” Luo Shuangyue’s eyes lit up as she motioned for the designer to share her thoughts.
The designer’s reasoning was simple.
They indeed couldn’t create a permanent artificial biosphere, but they could manage to maintain the venue in a vibrant, life-filled state for a short period.
“We can just dig up soil from the Mother Star, bring it over, and scatter seeds. Then we’ll use Magic Power to force them to mature…”
This unconventional approach quickly gained everyone’s approval.
It met Luo Shuangyue’s requirements and wasn’t too much trouble; it would be foolish not to choose it.
As for whether the harsh environment of the Starry Sky would affect these flowers from the ground… Hah, that was a minor issue!
They would use magic to create a Magic Shield to cover the entire venue, then use various spells to adjust the parameters inside the shield.
These designers were very skilled at such things.
In their previous work designing ceremonies for other Magical Girls, they often had to deal with various environments.
This kind of internal-external separation magic was the best way to handle different situations.
No matter how stormy it was outside, the Barrier would remain steady, keeping the environment inside filled with the scent of flowers and the singing of birds.
“But the venue Miss Dark Moth wants is so large, won’t it be hard to find the raw materials?”
“Don’t worry about that. We might lack other things here, but we definitely won’t lack building materials,” Luo Shuangyue immediately stated.
The Universe was so big; she could find a small star anywhere, crush it, and bring it back—that would be enough for the ceremony.
Not to mention there were plenty of unclaimed lands on the Mother Star now. No one would care if she went there to dig up some soil.
After all, she would return everything once she was finished. It wasn’t like she was taking it forever.
“In that case, we have no more questions. At the soonest, we can have the ceremony you want ready for you in half a month, Miss Dark Moth!”
