Chapter 377: The Lady Saintess Puts on a Maid Uniform

Su Nian buried her mouth beneath the surface of the pool, blowing bubbles that went “glub, glub, glub”. 

She sat there with her knees pulled to her chest, only the tip of her small nose peeking out of the water. 

Her mind drifted back to her previous plan. 

She had shed her clothes earlier, revealing skin that was porcelain-white and smooth. 

The bathroom was filled with billowing steam.

She remembered the fire in Chu Tian’s eyes when she wore black silk stockings a few days ago. 

That sense of possessiveness and fervor had frightened her, yet it had also left her feeling oddly satisfied.

‘No! This is too embarrassing!’

Su Nian shook her head to cast the thoughts aside, but the more she tried to forget, the clearer they became.

A voice whispered from the depths of her heart.

‘This is your home, your most private space. Chu Tian is your husband. What’s wrong with dressing up for him? It’s perfectly normal for a couple to have some fun.’

Yu used to dress like that often, sometimes even more boldly.

Her Magic flowed as easily as an extension of her own limbs, and the water droplets on her body were instantly dried. 

She walked over to the dressing mirror and reached into her Storage Ring. 

Her fingers trembled as she pulled out the maid uniform.

Her heart pounded so hard it felt like it might leap out of her throat.

‘Calm down. I need to stay calm. It’s just a piece of clothing.’

It was a classic black-and-white design. 

The white apron featured delicate ruffles, and the hem of the skirt was shockingly short. 

What made Su Nian blush most of all was the inclusion of a headband with fluffy black cat ears.

This was far too mischievous. 

A cat-eared maid?

Her heart rate accelerated.

Now that the moment had arrived, she felt like shrinking back, but the thought of Chu Tian’s potential reaction allowed her impulse to override her shame.

Yet, she was wearing an outfit that reeked of service and submission.

Pure yet seductive, holy yet fallen.

The two contradictory temperaments formed a strange and lethal harmony. 

The intense visual impact even caused Su Nian’s own heart to skip a beat.

‘No wonder Chu Tian likes me so much… Heavens… did the old me really wear clothes like this?’

After a moment of hesitation, she reached out and put on the cat-ear headband.

“Ding!”

A faint sound echoed in her mind, but Su Nian didn’t pay it any mind. 

With the addition of the ears, the pure maid in the mirror gained a hint of feline cunning and charm.

Looking at her reflection, Su Nian’s cheeks burned fiercely.

Her smooth thighs were visible beneath the short hem.

After several attempts, it still didn’t feel natural enough.

Su Nian covered her face, feeling like she might spontaneously combust. 

Yet, a growing sense of excitement deep within her urged her forward.

‘Go. Go and show Chu Tian. See if that man, who is always so calm, will go crazy for you.’

After spending a long time psyching herself up, she finally summoned the courage to push open the door to the dressing room.

“Click.”

At the soft sound, Chu Tian, who was currently processing documents, looked up. 

His movements froze completely.

A girl stood elegantly in the doorway. 

The black cat ears were exceptionally striking against her blonde hair. 

Her straight, well-proportioned legs were exposed to the air without any cover.

Chu Tian set down his quill, and a small blot of ink bled into the document. 

He felt his throat go dry instantly, as if it were on fire.

Standing in the doorway in a black-and-white maid uniform was the very Saintess who had just performed a divine blessing before the citizens of the entire city. 

Beneath the short skirt, her slender legs were now clad in black silk stockings.

The sight before him caused him to lose the ability to think.

Su Nian’s legs felt weak under that scorching gaze. 

She gripped her apron tightly. 

The sense of shame almost drowned her, but seeing Chu Tian lose control so completely filled her with a strange sense of satisfaction.

She paused and looked up, her watery sky-blue eyes staring directly into the depths of Chu Tian’s. 

She saw the flames in his eyes burning even brighter.

Using a volume that was nearly a whisper, she asked the second half of the question.

“Or… would you… prefer… me?”

Chu Tian stood up abruptly. 

His chair made a light scraping sound against the carpet. 

Su Nian instinctively took a half-step back, her back pressing against the doorframe. 

Her heart beat so fast it felt like it would burst out of her chest.

Chu Tian walked toward her slowly, each step feeling like it was treading directly on Su Nian’s heartstrings. 

The distance closed. 

She could clearly feel the scorching aura radiating from his body.

“Wife…”

Chu Tian’s voice was low and hoarse, carrying a dangerous undertone, “Do you know what you’re doing?”

Su Nian bit her lower lip, a flash of mischief crossing her eyes. 

“I am… serving my Master.”

The words had barely left her mouth before Chu Tian pinned her against the doorframe. 

His strong arms braced against the wood on either side of her body, completely enveloping her in his shadow.

“Then don’t regret it.”

Su Nian tilted her small face up, her sky-blue eyes filled with anticipation, “I won’t regret it… Master. Serving the Master is the duty of the Master’s exclusive maid.”

Su Nian took the initiative to meet him, wrapping her arms around his neck. 

The fabric of the maid uniform made a soft rustling sound as they embraced. 

This extreme contrast pushed Su Nian’s heart rate to its limit.

Just moments ago, she was the Star-Moon Saintess revered by tens of thousands. 

Now, she was wearing a maid uniform and calling a man “Master.”
