“When do you think Shuangxing will finally find the courage to confess to Yi?”
“Who knows? I could never guess the thoughts of a girl’s heart,” Luo Shuangyue said with a shrug, signaling that as a non-original girl herself, she had no clue what her younger sister was thinking.
However, she felt she could reasonably surmise what was on Xia Mo’s mind right now.
After all, night had already fallen outside.
The two of them were wearing pajamas, sitting on the large bed in Xia Mo’s room.
What else could Xia Mo be thinking about at a time like this? If she were actually thinking about anything else, Shuangyue would have to hand it to her.
“Her happiness depends on her own efforts. We can push her from behind, but it won’t do if she doesn’t know how to walk the path herself.” Shuangyue lightly traced circles in Xia Mo’s palm with her finger, suggesting they didn’t need to worry too much about her sister.
They were practically adults; they couldn’t expect their older sisters to keep leading the way forever, could they? The older sisters had their own business to attend to and no time to manage a silly younger sister.
“You seem to have become quite proactive,” Xia Mo remarked, catching Shuangyue’s restless little hand and raising an eyebrow at her.
The old Luo Shuangyue wouldn’t have dared to do something so provocatively flirtatious.
“Why? Don’t you like it?” Shuangyue giggled, tilting her head as she asked.
Pinning Shuangyue’s hand to the bed, Xia Mo flipped over to sit atop her. “I like it very much. So, next, you’d better be good and let me vent all this passion you’ve stirred up onto your body.”
Xia Mo pressed her head against Shuangyue’s ear. The steady stream of hot breath hitting her reddening earlobe made Shuangyue feel a tickle. And as Xia Mo leaned down, it wasn’t just her earlobe that felt the itch.
Her clothes were undone bit by bit. Fingers carrying an ambiguous warmth brushed over her porcelain skin, sending ripples through the sea of her heart.
Compared to their previous encounters, her mind was free of pressure and shadows this time, allowing her to immerse herself more deeply in this night’s exchange. The darkness sharpened her senses; every touch and every breath allowed a little more emotion to accumulate in her heart.
Xia Mo was being quite wicked, refusing to give Shuangyue a chance to release that pent-up emotion. She kept using her hands to warm Shuangyue’s body, seemingly intent on using her own body heat to warm up the girl, whose temperature was lower than a normal person’s.
“Momo…”
Shuangyue murmured softly. Before she could finish her sentence, Xia Mo, not wanting to hear her speak, tilted her head and forcefully silenced Shuangyue’s mouth with her own.
‘Don’t talk, just lie there quietly,’ she told Shuangyue silently.
The protagonist today wasn’t Shuangyue. Since she wanted to challenge Xia Mo, she shouldn’t beg for mercy when Xia Mo exerted her full strength. For this day, Xia Mo had learned quite a few things from various sources. Even without any tools to assist her, she was confident she could conquer her lover with just her hands.
A hint of crimson flashed in Xia Mo’s silver eyes. This was the first time Shuangyue had seen her look so aggressive.
Shuangyue actually didn’t know much about these matters—only the most basic understanding. Compared to Xia Mo, Shuangyue was like an ignorant little girl who could only passively cater to Xia Mo’s various actions.
But she didn’t hate the feeling.
‘Maybe I should learn about these things in the future too?’ she couldn’t help but wonder. After all, she couldn’t let Xia Mo do all the hard work forever, could she?
“Oh…!”
While her thoughts were drifting, a subtle sensation from below made her let out a sharp cry.
‘To do this now… that’s cheating!’
“This is your punishment for daydreaming.”
Xia Mo’s faint, ghostly murmur reached her ear. Before Shuangyue could explain, Xia Mo launched an attack even more fierce than before.
This time, she truly had no opportunity to think about anything else.
“Are you made of water?”
Looking at the prominent dark stains on the bedsheet, Xia Mo couldn’t help but ask Shuangyue.
The previous night, she had been too caught up in the moment to notice, but upon waking up, Xia Mo realized just how overboard they had gone.
However, what surprised her even more was the quality of Shuangyue’s body.
“I’m made of Vast Power, and my physical parameters were set to the original data,” Shuangyue said, sitting cross-legged on the bed with a flushed face. She didn’t know what had gone wrong either.
This body usually worked fine; why did it suddenly malfunction at a time like this? Pressing her hand against her flat stomach, Shuangyue pondered whether she should fix this issue.
“It’s actually quite nice. It adds to the atmosphere,” Xia Mo’s comment interrupted her thoughts.
“What do you mean ‘adds to the atmosphere’!” Feeling a bit vexed, Shuangyue swatted a pillow. She really didn’t think this was a good thing.
Xia Mo pulled Shuangyue into a hug, chuckling as she asked, “It just gives me a great sense of accomplishment. Isn’t it good when hard work pays off?”
‘Hard work paying off…’ Shuangyue’s gaze drifted to the dark stains on the sheet. She felt that this kind of payoff was better left unearned. Washing the sheets was going to be a huge hassle!
“Let’s go, let’s go. Take a shower first. We have a lot to do next.” Xia Mo half-forced Shuangyue off the bed, dropping the subject.
Regardless, she didn’t hate this little quirk. As for the sheets, cleaning them with magic wouldn’t be much trouble.
Although she felt a flicker of desire again while bathing with a bashful Shuangyue, Xia Mo remained a restrained person.
After stealing a few bites of her delicious lover, she let her go.
When the two of them, dressed in matching couple’s outfits of contrasting colors, walked next door, a lonely Luo Shuangxing was already sitting at the dining table, apathetically chewing on a piece of bread.
A large backpack sat on the chair beside her. Yes—don’t forget that Shuangxing was still a high school girl. She still had to go to school.
Even though she had skipped classes for a long time, now that the Great Crisis was resolved, the Magical Girls needed to return to their normal lives. At the very least… they had to go through the motions.
“You two finally woke up. I thought I wouldn’t see you at all this morning,” Shuangxing said, her gaze turning cold the moment she saw her two sisters walk through the door.
‘Matching outfits. Hmph.’
She could already imagine what a divine life these two sisters would be living while she was in class.
“Smells like sour grapes. Who told you not to work hard?” Shuangyue teased, not indulging her sister at all. “Did Mother not come back last night?”
“That busybody has been worrying about your situation. We should thank the heavens if she makes it back by the weekend.” Shuangxing’s expression slumped as she sighed and complained.
“And honestly, it’s almost worse when she does come back…”
When their mother was away, she missed her every day.
When she actually returned, she started to find her annoying. Shuangxing perfectly understood why the ‘unreachable’ is always the best.
