“Sisters, release your magic power with all your might!”
Holding her long sword level with the tip pointed at the monster’s back, White Night shouted at the top of her lungs.
An even more massive surge of Vast Power flooded into her body, passing through her as a conduit and into her sword.
Under the infusion of such vast power, the sword began to grow rapidly.
Countless white petals flew out from the two green vines forming the blade.
The petals scattered in all directions, surrounding White Night and forming a giant magic circle.
The lines of the magic circle lit up one by one, and a terrifying aura brewed within.
A brilliantly colored orb of light slowly emerged from the magic circle.
As it appeared, even the surrounding space cracked into pitch-black fissures, unable to withstand the pressure.
This was perhaps the most powerful strike the magical girls had released since their appearance.
The target of this strike happened to be the most powerful enemy the magical girls had ever faced.
White Night slowly raised her sword, took a deep breath, and then swung it down without hesitation.
A brilliant, colorful light accompanied her movement as it lunged toward the monster.
Along the path of the colored light, even space itself shattered inch by inch.
“Witness our power! You aren’t qualified to destroy us!”
The light fell upon the monster’s body, completely enveloping it.
The pitch-black demonic energy rapidly faded under the washing of the colorful light, assimilated by the magic power.
The evil intent within was dispersed by the radiance filled with Heart Mana, unable to offer even a hint of resistance.
The magic power of a magical girl was the ultimate counter to Nightmare Creatures.
Even if this monster was the Ultimate Sovereign of Monsters, it could not mount an effective defense against the Fusion Magic Cannon released by the gathered magical girls.
Not to mention, it was currently locked in a struggle with Luo Xiangyue and had no energy to spare for its rear defense.
Attacked from both sides, it had already lost any possibility of victory.
There were only two possible outcomes: one was to be completely devoured by Luo Xiangyue, and the other was to be purified by the magic cannon and then completely devoured by Luo Xiangyue.
Since the result was the same, the monster instinctively made the most disgusting choice.
It completely abandoned its resistance against Luo Xiangyue, allowing her to devour it.
It intended to use its own will to crush her!
Mutual devouring between monsters did not end just by eating the other.
If one could not grind away the other’s will, the assimilation was not considered complete.
The monster believed its consciousness would not be so easily ground away by Luo Xiangyue.
It would merge with Luo Xiangyue, and then the damage from the magic cannon would be borne by her.
Once Luo Shuangyue had finished tanking the damage from the magic cannon, it would find a way to separate from her.
This was the only viable path to survival.
As for how they would separate, the monster did not know. It simply felt it had no other choice.
Luo Shuangyue also discovered the monster’s intention, but she did not refuse its active integration. She felt this was an excellent opportunity.
Active integration provided more power than passive absorption.
Luo Xiangyue was willing to take this gamble, betting that she could thoroughly grind away the monster’s consciousness.
That way, she could completely master the monster’s power.
Driven by both sides, the two monsters clutching each other completed their physical fusion at a rapid speed.
Together, they turned into a Giant Cocoon, standing firmly within the iridescent colors of the magic cannon.
Luo Shuangyue also felt the impact of the magic cannon and the might of the Heart Power within it.
Before this torrent of hearts formed by a single shared purpose, the fragile souls of monsters were indeed vulnerable.
But she was different.
As a former magical girl, she did not fear this power!
Her consciousness sank into the dark abyss.
When she opened her eyes again, a somewhat familiar coliseum appeared before her.
But this time, the one standing opposite her had turned into a monster emitting a loathsome aura.
The Path Creature had no humanity.
Its pitch-black body was covered in crimson patterns.
It was nothing more than a detestable puppet manipulated by obsession; nothing on its body truly belonged to it.
Its consciousness was patched together, its power was bestowed, and its thoughts were implanted.
Its entire life was both pathetic and hateful.
“Let me end your sorrowful life,” Luo Shuangyue said softly, staring at the monster’s consciousness.
A mass of dark-red sludge appeared beneath her feet.
The evil intent belonging to her seemed to feel the arrival of a challenger and wanted to fight the intruder to the death. But Luo Shuangyue did not welcome these fellows.
If she could, she wanted to send her own evil intent away along with the opponent.
Coincidentally, this was a perfect opportunity to pack up all these bad things and send them away together.
Because Luo Xiangyue had outside help.
Her weapon was not just her own will, but also the Heart Power from the magical girls.
“That cocoon seems to be absorbing our magic power? Its color has turned iridescent!” one magical girl noticed the change in the Giant Cocoon.
Under the continuous washing of the magic cannon, parts of the Giant Cocoon had shed their pitch-black, ominous color, turning into the same iridescent color as the Fusion Magic Cannon.
What did this represent? Was it good or bad?
No one knew the answer.
But since White Night had not stopped the release of the magic cannon, they continued to provide magic power.
They believed White Night would surely lead them to victory once again.
Luo Shuangyue raised her hand high. Strands of brilliant, colorful airflow gathered in her hand, transforming into a long sword wrapped in green branches.
Once, her mother had used this sword to drive away the monsters entrenched on their Mother Star, securing a glimmer of hope for humanity.
Now, she would also use this sword to slay the Path Creature before her and continue that hope!
“First, it’s you!”
Once the sharp sword took form, the first thing Luo Shuangyue did was not attack the monster, but stab the sword heavily into her own chest.
As the Sword of the Heart pierced her chest, countless black and red auras immediately steamed out of her body.
This was the evil intent that had been entrenched deep in her consciousness like maggots in bone, a time bomb she had been trying to deal with.
Today, she finally had the right tool to solve these damned things.
The evil intent was already a part of Luo Xiangyue’s soul.
By attacking her own soul so ruthlessly, her aura instantly plummeted.
But it was all worth it.
After these evil intents were forced out of her soul by the pure Heart Power, she felt her soul was so light it was about to fly.
Colorful light slowly surged from her chest, completely crushing and annihilating the evil intents that were unwilling to leave.
When the remaining evil intent realized its master no longer wanted it, it did not turn back to bite her.
Instead, it turned its gaze toward the other entity in this Containment Space.
Even if their master didn’t want them, it didn’t stop them from using their last bit of strength to take down their arch-enemy!
The black and red auras driven out of her body transformed into the shape of a monster, shrieking as they lunged at the monster.
During the interval when Luo Shuangyue had not yet recovered from the pain of her soul shattering, they engaged in a fierce struggle with the monster.
This was beyond Luo Shuangyue’s expectations.
She had been prepared to fight both the evil intent and the monster simultaneously, but the current situation was much better than she had imagined.
Faced with a common enemy, the evil intent was generous enough not to pursue Luo Shuangyue’s crime of abandoning it, instead going straight to fight the monster’s consciousness.
The evil intent in the Spiritual Space was strong, but its opponent was no slouch either.
Crimson light burst from the monster’s body, turning into a bizarrely shaped Path Creature that fought with the evil intent.
This was the evil intent within the monster’s body, the exact opposite and arch-enemy of the evil intent forced out of Luo Shuangyue’s body.
Once they met, they were bound to fight to the death.
Just like the two worlds right now.
“Phew. Since their battle has started, I can’t fall too far behind.” Pulling the sword out of her chest, Luo Shuangyue stared at the monster and spoke softly.
“I have to kill you before their battle ends, and then kill the two of them together.”
The monster could not understand Luo Shuangyue’s words. It only let out a loud, multi-layered screech and then lunged straight at her.
It didn’t have many complicated thoughts. It was very simple; it only wanted to kill Luo Shuangyue.
A simple, straight-line pounce with no technical skill.
If they were in the outside world, Luo Shuangyue would have 100 ways to dodge this strike and then slash her sword across the monster’s back. But in the Spiritual World, dodging was meaningless.
Every time they crossed paths, it was a clash of wills. It didn’t matter who attacked whom.
It was like two stones colliding.
If one stood still and the other actively crashed into it, would the one standing still be at a disadvantage? Even a schoolchild knew that forces acted in pairs.
Therefore, Luo Shuangyue didn’t even think about dodging. She raised her sword and charged directly at the monster.
Sword tip met monster.
Both ‘people’ retreated several steps simultaneously, their spirits instantly becoming much more withered.
This purest form of conscious confrontation was still a bit too damaging to the consciousness.
Luo Shuangyue felt her head ringing.
A soul-shattering pain constantly radiated from all over her body. Her soul had once again suffered a significant injury in the collision just now.
But this time, colorful rays of light flowed from the Sword of the Heart in her hand.
These lights merged into her body, dissolving her wounds and pain.
Her soul became even tougher under the soaking of this power, leaving Luo Shuangyue with no more concerns.
Previously, this monster had defeated her mother by relying on its ‘locked health.’ Now, she would use the same method to thoroughly defeat this monster!
Luo Shuangyue took the initiative to attack the monster’s consciousness, which was already showing signs of dissipating.
The monster tried to block unwillingly, but this was a spiritual space; blocking was still a form of confrontation.
Bang!
The Sword of the Heart shattered the monster’s branch-like arms, completely crushing the consciousness within those arms into meaningless fragments of mental power.
Luo Shuangyue also fell into a brief daze after this proactive strike.
But as the colorful radiance flooded into her body once more, she became clear-headed again and continued her attack on the monster’s consciousness.
One sword followed another, and the speed of her attacks became faster and faster.
The impact of the conscious collisions on her became smaller and smaller.
In the end, her body turned completely into a brilliant iridescent color, while the monster’s body became broken and fragmented under her relentless assault.
The consciousness of this monster was originally a jumble of countless consciousnesses that had not been unified or refined.
In the consciousness battlefield, it belonged to the most fragile category.
It was truly a wonder it dared to proactively challenge Luo Shuangyue to a duel in the consciousness space.
‘Perhaps it thought that here, two monsters could have a fair one-on-one duel to determine the strongest?’
Unfortunately, it didn’t expect that Luo Shuangyue could still receive support in the consciousness space and was strong enough to massacre it one-sidedly.
Raising the blade that had completely merged with her body, Luo Shuangyue looked coldly at the monster lying on the Dadi with its shattered body and gave her judgment.
“Your tragic life — it’s time for it to end!”
Its birth was meaningless, and its death was naturally the same. An eternal sleep was its best destination.
The colorful radiance fell, shining on the fragments of the monster’s consciousness and completely dissolving them.
It wouldn’t have the chance to be refined, but the mental power it left behind might be good nourishment for another child.
After dealing with the monster, Luo Shuangyue’s gaze drifted toward the two masses of evil intent still killing each other.
The monster was just a pathetic, manipulated puppet; they were the core cause of all these tragedies.
Now that the pathetic puppet was at peace, the next thing she had to do was send these two cores on their way, letting them go where they belonged.
The battle with the evil intent was different from before.
She didn’t need to collide with them or see whose head was harder; she needed to forcefully purify them completely.
She didn’t have this ability before, but now, she did! The sword formed from the Heart Power of the magical girls was her best weapon.
She would use the most powerful torrent of hearts to completely erase these filthy things!
The two masses of evil intent locked in struggle did not realize the impending crisis.
Just like the two beings that created them, they ignored everything else, seeing only the desire to strangle each other.
It wasn’t until the colorful torrent descended upon them both that they suddenly realized the crisis of complete extinction was not far away.
But even in this situation, they were still unwilling to let each other go.
It didn’t matter if they died, as long as the fellow opposite them didn’t live!
And so, a miraculous scene occurred.
In the face of a common threat of annihilation, the two masses of evil intent not only didn’t put aside their conflict but fought even more fiercely, seemingly intending to kill the other completely before they died themselves.
Luo Shuangyue truly could not understand this way of thinking.
Was hatred more important than the future? But in the end, evil intent was something without the ability to adapt.
Their existence was for one purpose.
Expecting their minds to change was less likely than expecting world peace tomorrow.
“Therefore, it’s time for you to exit the stage as well. This kind of meaningless, lethal grudge shouldn’t exist!”
The seven-colored torrent of light completely swallowed the two dark shades.
The warring evil intents met their final end at the same time.
