“Holy Maiden, please go and rest. We are already out of danger.”
The Tier 2 Demon Hunter spoke weakly as he lay nearby.
Under the comprehensive treatment of the Mist, his fatal wounds had already been brought under control.
Following his lead, the other wounded soldiers began to offer their heartfelt gratitude and advice to Truth.
“Holy Maiden, your health is much more important than ours! If something were to happen to you, we would feel guilty for the rest of our lives!”
“Exactly. You are our pillar of support right now. Having you here keeps everyone’s morale high. If anything goes wrong with you, the entire army’s spirit will collapse.”
“Meeting a Saintess is the greatest luck of my life. Holy Maiden, you have done enough for us. Please, go rest…”
‘You people…’
Truth, standing in the center of the mist, dithered for a moment and tilted her head.
She automatically translated the soldiers’ advice into something she could understand in her head:
‘You are not allowed to farm any more experience!’
Tsk… how annoying!
She was finally having a great time grinding, only to be forced offline by the “health system” so soon.
Truth originally wanted to see if she could grind straight to Level 30, but for the sake of “plausibility,” she had to log off now.
“So, how should I make my exit?” Truth whispered to Tia.
“Collapse into my arms?” Tia tentatively opened her arms.
Gradually, the Mist began to dissipate.
Truth, looking “extremely exhausted,” leaned forward against Tia’s chest.
Finally, under the watchful gaze of the crowd, she was carried back to the temporary tent reserved for the Holy Maiden.
Tia was quite happy about this.
The feeling of being snuggled by such a little cutie was rather nice.
Unfortunately, as soon as they returned to the tent, Truth immediately dropped the act.
“Hiss—ow! Don’t pinch my chest!”
Tia suddenly felt a sharp pain and realized Truth was secretly pinching her.
After pulling Truth’s face out of her bosom, Tia saw a small face wearing a mischievous grin.
This brat!
Tia roughly tossed Truth onto the soft sofa and snorted with her hands on her hips.
But just as she was about to warn Truth to be careful not to expose the existence of the Hermit, the voice of a priestling came from outside the tent.
“Um… we have come to deliver recovery potions to the Holy Maiden.”
Tia and Truth looked toward the entrance simultaneously.
Two priestlings walked in nervously, carrying several bottles of Mana Recovery Potion and a few bottles of Spirit Refreshing Dew, which only army commanders were permitted to use.
Upon hearing that the Holy Maiden was so exhausted she had nearly fainted, the priests had hurried to deliver supplies.
They originally intended to ask about the Holy Maiden’s condition, but after setting down the potions, the two priestlings hurriedly left without daring to spare Tia or Truth another glance.
Only after they were far away did the two whisper to each other.
“Did I see that right? The Holy Maiden’s Teacher is actually so violent toward her! She was clearly that exhausted, yet she just tossed her onto the sofa. That’s simply inhumane!”
“Do the teacher and student not get along? It seems their relationship is very delicate… No, we must report this to the Commander!”
…
“Why were those two so nervous? Were they embarrassed because I’m too handsome?”
Truth looked at the Mana Recovery Potions in front of her, feeling puzzled.
She picked up a bottle and took a small sip.
“Blegh! This tastes terrible!”
“Handsome? They were probably just worried about you. Besides, how can this recovery potion taste bad? This is the highest quality High-Rank recovery potion we have. It has tasted like this for years. It even seems to be a product from Suna’s family.”
Tia also took a small sip and found nothing wrong with the taste.
“High-rank among low-ranks! Truly high-quality potions have a purity of over 90%. This stuff has a purity of 20% at most—it’s like plain water! When it comes to potions, I only drink 100% purity!”
The higher the purity, the better the potion’s effect, but the harder it was for an adventurer’s body to absorb.
High purity could even cause side effects, the most common being a state of mental confusion similar to being drunk, which was fatal in battle.
Normally, for a Tier 2 priest like Truth, a potion with around 20% purity was just right.
However, Tia did not know yet that Truth had jumped seven levels from Level 17 to Level 24, just a bit shy of breaking through to Level 25.
She still thought the girl was just a First Rank priestling.
“100% purity? You only had one sip and you’re already talking nonsense?”
Tia began to touch Truth’s forehead and cast Clarity.
The latter just looked at her with a speechless expression, as if she wanted to bite her, but then decided against it.
After all, Tia was one of the few people who did not lust after Truth’s body and actually treated her well.
So, Truth lay directly on the sofa, closed her eyes, and began to distribute her attribute points.
She also planned to check the various new skills she gained after breaking through to the Second Rank.
Tia decided not to disturb her rest and planned to head back to the medical station to see if she could help.
After all, in the entire Fourth Frontline, only she and Annabelle were Fourth Rank priests—the only two capable of healing Tier 3 Demon Hunters and commanders.
Inside the tent, Truth marveled at the character panel and the various detailed descriptions popping up.

With the help of over 100 soldiers and a Tier 2 Demon Hunter, Truth, who had leveled up seven times at once, could barely keep up with all the new features and skill descriptions.
After reaching the Second Rank, all her active skills had received massive upgrades, and the Mist gained many new ways to be used.
After a brief moment of thought, Truth suddenly realized that her skills, aside from the usual healing, defense, and buffs a priest should have, now included “Concealment” and “Tracking”—two traits that had nothing to do with being a priest.
What does a priest need these two things for?
Is this a characteristic of Authority?
Normally, skills from the same skill tree would synergize.
So, Mistveil Exalted had “Mist” for healing and “Hidden” for… well, hiding.
For some reason, Truth felt that her skill set was going to become very underhanded in the future…
