Julius pushed open the door and walked quickly to Cedric’s desk, telling his teacher about the golem Helos had made.
Of course, he also knew that some things should not be shared, so he concealed part of the facts.
Upon hearing the news, Cedric’s brow furrowed slightly, and a flash of surprise crossed his eyes, but he quickly returned to normal.
He remained silent for a moment before speaking slowly.
“Given that child’s personality, we both know the truth. Since she is determined to do it, let her be.”
Julius’s expression was somewhat hesitant.
“Teacher, do we really not need to stop her? Her golem can already move. Although it doesn’t seem dangerous, I just don’t feel at ease.”
Cedric shook his head, his tone steady.
“You must remember, she is not someone who will stop just because of persuasion. Instead of wasting effort, it is better to let her bear the consequences herself.”
“Tell her for me when you have time that until she handles the golem, she doesn’t need to return for sword practice.”
“However, she will have to make up for the missed training later.”
“I understand.”
Julius nodded and withdrew from the room.

On the other side, Helos was conducting daily practice with Gavi.
The sound of shuffling footsteps echoed through the workshop.
Gavi’s movements were very stiff at first, like a baby who had just learned to walk.
But under Helos’s repeated corrections, her movements gradually became smooth.
In just a few days, she was able to perform fluid movements normally. Helos was even left speechless by some of the high-difficulty actions she performed.
‘She’s learning way too fast, isn’t she?’
The girl looked at Gavi in front of her and couldn’t help but mutter softly.
Originally, she only intended to make Gavi a meat shield to block attacks for her when facing Werner.
But things were different now. Gavi possessed an independent consciousness. The points of light in those eyes flickered quietly, carrying loyalty and obedience every time she looked at her master.
Helos suddenly felt like she couldn’t let her go to her “death” anymore.
The girl sat in the corner holding her thin sword, her silver-white hair falling in a mess as she furrowed her brow tightly.
‘Sigh… What should I have you do?’
She sighed, looking extremely troubled.
Suddenly, a “thump, thump” sound came from the wooden door.
“Second Young Lady, it’s me.”
Helos looked up, her voice full of surprise. “Sister Lille? Why are you here?”
The door was pushed open, and Lille, dressed in a maid uniform, walked in carrying a lunch box. She spoke with a gentle expression.
“The Duchess was worried you were too busy and weren’t eating on time, so she specifically asked me to deliver a meal to you.”
“Eh~ Sister really likes to meddle, doesn’t she?”
Helos curled her lip, but she still obediently took the lunch box and sat at the table to devour the food.
Lille stood quietly to the side, but her gaze fell on Gavi, who was tidying up the workshop.
The appearance of that puppet should have been eerie, but Gavi was exceptionally careful while cleaning. Every movement was extremely quiet.
Helos finished the last bite of her meal and wiped her mouth. As she handed the lunch box back to Lille, she noticed that the maid had been staring at Gavi in silence for a long time.
Under the girl’s puzzled gaze, Lille finally spoke slowly.
“Second Young Lady, actually… I have an idea.”
“Hmm? What idea?” Helos blinked and looked at her in confusion.
Lille turned to look at Gavi, her voice steady and serious.
“Since Gavi can understand your words, is absolutely loyal to you, and is not affected by your curse… she doesn’t necessarily have to be just a combat golem.”
Helos was slightly stunned. “What do you mean?”
“She could totally become your personal maid,” Lille said, looking at her earnestly. “After all, you are our Second Young Lady, but there has never been anyone willing to take this position by your side.”
“Although your constitution makes ordinary people avoid you, Gavi is different. She is immune to your curse and will follow your orders unconditionally.”
“And she looks very intelligent. She’s simply perfect material for a maid.”
The workshop suddenly fell silent.
Seeing Helos’s expression turn a bit strange, Lille coughed lightly, picked up the lunch box, and took a few steps back.
“Of course, these are just my personal opinions. As for whether to adopt them, it depends on your plan.”
Helos stared blankly at Gavi, who was seriously tidying up the clutter, and her heart stirred slightly.
Gavi seemed to sense her master’s gaze and stopped her movements. The points of light in her hollow eye sockets flickered gently as she looked back quietly, as if waiting for a command.
“A personal maid…” the girl murmured softly, her eyes gradually softening.
She rested her chin on her hand, and the corners of her mouth slowly curved into a smile.
“This proposal doesn’t seem impossible.”
But Helos quickly retracted her smile and turned to look at Lille, her brow furrowing slightly.
“However, there is still one more problem—can she really learn all that?”
Her tone held some doubt. After all, in her mind, being a maid was not something anyone could just do.
To serve the Duchess, one had to know the rules, be meticulous and thoughtful, have quick eyes and hands, and be able to figure out the master’s thoughts.
Gavi was obedient, but in the end, she was just a golem who had just gained self-awareness.
“This child is special to begin with. Besides, how will we know if we don’t try?” Lille smiled, her expression gentle. “When I first started as a maid, I was just a clumsy child too.”
“Oh, that’s right. Sister Lille, you came to the duke’s mansion to be a maid when you were little.” Helos tilted her head and nodded thoughtfully.
She looked at Gavi again, her eyes filled with curiosity.
“Then maybe we can try. What do you think, Gavi?”
Gavi walked slowly to stand before Helos. The points of light in her eye sockets flickered slightly, and then she gave a gentle nod.
To better express her determination, she even raised her hand and thumped her chest, producing a crisp thudding sound.
The posture was as if she were saying, “Leave it to me.”
“Well, since you think it’s fine, then I’ll leave it to you, Sister Lille.”
Helos’s tone still carried a hint of unease, and she couldn’t help but urge Gavi repeatedly. “Gavi, be sure to listen to Sister Lille.”
“Don’t worry, just leave it to me.”
Lille smiled, her tone steady and certain. She waved gently to Gavi. “Second Young Lady, I definitely will not disappoint you.”
“So… Lille, you brought this hunk of iron to me?”
In the room, the head maid, Maev, rubbed her temples. She looked at the smiling Lille in front of her and the extremely strange humanoid golem beside her with a bit of a headache.
“Of course,” Lille replied naturally. “Since I promised the Second Young Lady and received the Duchess’s permission, I have to be serious about it.”
She paused, then smiled and spread her hands.
“I can handle the training part myself, but we can’t let her stay naked forever, right? So, Head Maid, I’ll leave Gavi’s maid uniform to you~”
Ah, the classic robot maid.
